Guide Lane Care Home is friendly and welcoming. Staff and management are caring and helpful. Have told my family and friends that if a care home is needed. I would fully recommend Guide Lane. Nothing is too much trouble for carers who really love the residents.

My mum has been in for a few weeks and she is very settled because of the excellent care and support from all staff. The nurses are brilliant at pain management which has kept her comfortable and able to enjoy the days in her life. Nothing is too much trouble; her dietary needs have been catered for so she can enjoy the food and, when required, the cooks make sure she does not miss out. All areas are spotlessly clean, her room is always immaculate and the entertainment and activities are bringing great pleasure. It is a very special place.

There is always a warm welcome at Guide Lane for residents and family. The staff are well trained, but more importantly they care. Dignity and empathy are important to residents, which they certainly receive. It is not easy when a loved one enters a care home, but I have been supported by staff and management.

My mum receives the very best of care at Guide Lane Nursing Home. The care the staff provide is excellent. The staff are very caring, and the interaction with Mum is great, always having a laugh and a joke. Mum loves all this. The food is excellent, great choices. Mum has been at the care home for three years and is fit and well all due to the personal care she gets. The home is kept very clean and tidy. As a family we could not wish for better!!

I am the daughter of one of the residents. I am in awe of the service that my mum receives from the care home. All her needs are met, even encouragement from the staff when mum is feeling down. The food choice from the kitchen is exemplary, and my mum and other residents can change their choice if what is offered is not to their liking. The entertainment activities are always ongoing with a variety of crafts and singers etc. I wouldn't have my mum anywhere else.
