Best place for my mum. She has put on the weight she lost and looks happy so I am happy. The weight loss wasn’t in this nursing home, really happy with the service they provide. The staff are lovely and caring so that’s all we want for my mum.

I was so amazed at my Dad's change in doing things, eating well, always seems happy. Me and Dad cannot praise the staff at Guide Lane, nothing is too much trouble. That also includes family, they look after us as well. We have no worries at all. We know he is happy and well looked after.

My grandma is very well looked after with her full care such as feeding, washing, lifting etc... Guide Lane Care Home is very well run and excellent and very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful and will answer any question that you need to know. When my grandma took poorly they contacted me straight away to let me know. I do recommend to anyone out there who needs a nursing home. Excellent care.

We have been delighted with the care and support that has been shown to our Mum. All the staff are very kind and Mum has settled in very well. The activities and days out are great and Mum is very involved with all the activities. It has been a huge relief to see Mum content and happy in a secure environment.

My mother has been a resident since 2009. At first, it was a bit difficult but the staff have been extremely helpful and friendly. Very easy to talk to and answer questions. My mother seems to be very happy and that's the main thing.

We viewed 5 care homes before choosing Guide Lane Care Home and our decision was made by the warm welcome of all staff as we viewed the home. Our friend feels very contented and safe whilst she for the first time in several years has bee taken to the local aquarium, the pub for lunch with more trips planned. Also, we have all been entertained by artists/singers at the home. Great job.

Staff were very good with my wife and treated her with dignity and respect. The staff supported me and made me smile even though we all knew my beloved wife would not be there for long.

The food was excellent and time was taken to ensure my wife's custard consistency food was correct.

The management were fantastic. They always had time for me if I needed a quick word or was unsure about anything.

There were a couple of blips at first but these were soon rectified.

My wife's room was only small but as she was bed bound toileting was not an issue.

There were trips out and activities but my wife could not take advantage of these due to her condition.

My grandmother was assessed for nursing care in February 2017. I looked at numerous homes and felt that Guide Lane would be the best to meet her needs. It also came with a recommendation from the residential home she was in. Nana came to Guide Lane in June, and within the short time she has been here, the difference in her is quite remarkable. She is far more alert, tries to communicate more effectively, and has gained weight. The staff have been lovely and the transition seamless. I didn't think we would find a better care home than the one she was in but Guide Lane is an exceptional place.
