I cannot recommend highly enough. All of the staff are amazing, so caring and thoughtful as well as ultimate professionals. They cared for my dad for a year. My mum pretty much visited him every day and she was always welcomed and treated as one of the Birkdale Park family. If you are looking for somewhere for your loved one you would be hard pushed to find a better place. You can be reassured they will be in the best of hands and treated with the utmost care and respect.

This care home is excellent in the care that it provides. Being an old building with extensions, the room facilities are not perfect but the care of the residents far out weighs any negatives in the building. Cleanliness is excellent. Food seems very good and my step mother doesn't complain. Although she is not keen to participate in activities much they do provide a very varied programme. Staff are excellent and most friendly and welcoming. Management are keen to learn and improve if relatives have any suggestions to offer.

I find the staff very warming and welcoming. From when you first step into the home, the reception staff greet you well. I am very impressed with the nursing team and entertainment team. I cannot say a bad word against any of the care team, facilities or catering. Thank you for what you all do.

Very welcoming on our arrival, tea and coffee offered then a delicious lunch. Regular check-ins that we were alright. All staff friendly, personable and happy to help.

The care at Birkdale Park is excellent. From what I have seen, carers deliver the same care that I would expect them to provide to their own families. Nothing is too much.

Birkdale Park has a lovely feel to it as soon as you arrive. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Everything is clean and tidy. I am very impressed.

This is my first visit from abroad to see my uncle who is a resident. The welcome from reception is very warm and great. We had biscuits and a brew. The atmosphere and staff are friendly and helpful.

We would like to thank all the staff at Birkdale Park Nursing Home for their exceptional care of my father during his final days and for the care and compassion also shown to us, his family. Although only at the home for a short time, everybody welcomed Dad and made him and us feel so welcome, cared for and special. The exceptional day and night nursing and care staff provided outstanding nursing care and support to keep Dad comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. The professional advice and friendly, caring support provided to us, as a family, was exceptional and helped us immensely through an extremely difficult time. I cannot recommend the home highly enough.

My mum only spent seven days in the care at Birkdale Park Nursing Home as prior to this, she was living completely independently. Mum had always been determined that she would never go to a care home and as her daughter, I felt the same. However, once a care home became the only viable option, we accepted Birkdale Park and I'm so glad we did. The staff and care were exemplary. The manager has created an outstanding team of caring and talented individuals. Thank you. Those seven days were the very best we could have hoped for.

My dad was discharged from hospital in January 2024 in very poor health. All the staff at Birkdale Park Nursing Home went out of their way to make sure all of his needs were met - from the kitchen making up special meals and desserts in line with his dietary requirements, the office staff ordering him small items he wanted from online, the nursing and care staff ensuring he was safe and well cared for, the laundry and cleaning staff looking after his wider hygiene. It was obvious from talking to the staff that they all knew him personally, knowing his likes, dislikes and personality. His sad passing was handled with dignity and the family supported.

My mum and I cannot recommend Birkdale Park Nursing Home enough! They couldn't have looked after my grandma/my mum's mum any better. The staff are all incredibly caring and nothing is ever too much trouble. They have exceptionally high standards of cleanliness. Professional to the nth degree! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I just wanted to write you an email to say a huge thank you to you and all the wonderful staff at Birkdale Park Nursing Home for looking after my dad so wonderfully well in his last days. Every single person involved in his care was so kind and careful with him and we are so very grateful to all of them! I especially would like to mention two members of staff, in particular, as they were particularly amazing with Dad. On the night he died, they were both absolutely exemplary with their care, concern and love to Dad and to us all, as a family. We will never ever forget their kindness to us all. Thank you again and we send all our love and thanks to you all. My dad had he been able, would have said the same!

It was one of the hardest things for me to do to put my mum into a nursing home. Luckily, I chose Birkdale Park Nursing Home. It's clean and tidy always and the staff, from the kitchen, nurses and office staff, are excellent. That helped me so much I came in every week. Sometimes if work allows me more so I see it regularly. Thank you to them all. Would never be afraid to recommend it.

We couldn't be more pleased with the care and respect shown to my mum. The staff and ownership are extremely professional in every way. Everyone is very pleasant with us and nothing is too much trouble. The care for my mum is second to none. I would recommend Birkdale Park 100%. She wouldn't still be alive without all the staff here. My husband was treated with dignity and respect the whole time he was a resident in Birkdale Park Nursing Home. I too was given enormous support, plenty of cups of tea, hugs whenever needed and even my meals in my husband's last weeks before he died in April 2024. The residents are all treated with care, with plenty of activities should they wish to take part. The food was very good indeed and an alternative was offered if the resident didn't like what was on the menu. An excellent nursing home in my opinion.
