Nice place to live, suitable for my grandmother. Lovely, caring and helpful staff, food needs to be improved upon and free out activities, but I am hopeful this will change in the future.

Really happy with Dad's placement at Kings Court. The staff are kind and caring and will always take time out of their busy schedule to catch up on how he has been since the last visit.
They have tackled Dad's complex needs brilliantly and are always flexible in how they manage him.
They have
always been in touch and talked us through any changes or needs, step by step.

The care is very good my mum is always clean, only thing I would ask for is the TV is on different wall so she could watch it in day, my mum could do with some physio to get her moving and I think that would help, my mum is ok her day is a bit boring as she is not able to watch TV unless she's in
bed, my mum would benefit more if she went downstairs into day room for meeting people conversation and activities she just can't be bothered otherwise she's fine.

Our mum was only with you for a week before we lost her. Previous to this, she had seventeen weeks in hospital. The care she was given with you was amazing. Nothing any trouble. All staff went above and beyond with our family. Thank you.

My stepdad was a resident at Kingscourt for over 10 years following a severe stroke which left him paralysed on one side and unable to speak. He formed very close bonds with staff, including The kitchen staff. They communicated beautifully with him and he enjoyed the banter. The care was excellent,
often it went above and beyond. The most impressive care was the management of a leg ulcer which healed completely, against all the odds. His final days were truly humbling. The home worked closely with the hospital and home service. My stepdad was treated with such dignity and he was surrounded by staff and family who loved him dearly.

Mum has been at Kingscourt for over 4 years and, when more able, enjoyed being with the other residents and joining in with the excellently organised activities. Due to her condition, she now spends the majority of her time in bed. Staff are kind, caring and engage well with the residents and create
a happy atmosphere in the home. At times, communication between staff and relatives could be better.

The staff were very caring towards Mum and worked hard to help her settle. The service managers were very kind and patient with all family members during our visits and telephone calls. It was difficult that Covid restrictions impacted on visiting, but the staff encouraged us to phone whenever we
wanted. We were very grateful for this.

As a resident undergoing respite care for a number of weeks, I became a resident of Kings Court Care Home. Throughout my stay, I was treated with dignity and kindness by busy professional staff who ensured that I was well taken care of and comfortable in my surroundings.

I live a long way away, and the staff always make it easy for me to communicate with her (taking care to stick to regulations). On a recent visit, I was given a recent photograph of her to take home with me, which meant a great deal.

Mum spent the last two months of her life in the care of Kingscourt and I could not rate them more highly. So many of the staff went out of their way to ensure she felt valued, respected and loved, and as pre-restriction visitors, we were always welcomed and included in activities as family.
COVID-19 lockdown prevented family being with Mum as she passed on the 9th April, from an aggressive and rare brain tumour, and we will forever be grateful to the manager for holding her hand in her final hours, ensuring her passing was peaceful and that she knew her family loved her and were there with her in spirit.
Our hearts go out to these caring people during this time of crisis and I fervently hope the many residents and staff we got to know in such a short time remain safe and well, my sister and I think of you often.

Our mum spent the last few weeks of her life here and what a beautiful place this is. The management, nurses and carers are just amazing, I would call them ‘angels’. Our mum was thoroughly looked after, loved and cared for. Not once, did we feel worried about leaving mum in their care. Nothing was
too much trouble, even for us as visitors - we could get tea and just stay with Mum as long as we wished. Mum was comfortable and in no pain when she passed away in one of the nurse's arms. As a family, we are so happy that Mum spent her last days there surrounded by care, love and respect, even though Mum was dying. We can’t thank the staff enough for this and we will always think of you all, as well as being incredibly thankful for loving our darling Mum. God bless you all.

Mum went into Kingscourt for end of life care. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The care Mum received was excellent, she passed away only a week later, but in that time she received the best of care. All the family were looked after while visiting. A huge thank you to the manager and al her staff
for making my mum's last week as comfortable as possible, and for the family as easy as possible.
