View Full Details of Barchester Prestbury Beaumont Care CommunityMy mother resided at The Beaumont from March 2023 to December 2024. The care that she received was second to none, all the staff were simply divine. My mother was very happy and my family were confident in the knowledge she was being well cared for. I visited her every other day and never saw her distressed or upset. Great Job Beaumont staff, you deserve this accolade.
My father came into this home only 2 weeks ago, this inital transition from being independent in his home has been made so easy by all the staff at The Prestbury Beaumont, each and everyone of them have been so kind and considerate. The facilities, grounds, communal areas are presented to a high standard, Daily activities are well thought out and they have regular outings to garden and shopping centres which Dad has participated in. I feel happy that he is now settled in such a lovely place.
My mother was at the Beaumont for 9 years. She spent 7 of those years in an assisted living apartment and the remainder of the time in the nursing section of the care home. The care she received was wonderful throughout. When she passed away peacefully in January of this year at the age of 97, her long life was testament to the meticulous care she received from all the management and staff at the Beaumont - from the kitchen staff, housekeepers, carers, and nurses to the gardener and handyman. I cannot compliment them enough on the kindness and compassion they showed my mother. The management and staff have become friends and I shall miss having regular contact with them.
The home is in a beautiful setting and is well cared for both inside and out. Your first impression is that of a pleasant country hotel. It is clean and efficient and has a lovely dinning room. However most important and above all else, all the staff really care for the residents
My mum is incredibly well looked after at Prestbury Beaumont. There is absolutely nowhere else I think she would want to be looked after. She is very happy there, thanks to the amazing people that make this care environment what it is.
This home gave me the best experience I could ask for. Everyone is helpful. Food excellent. Could not have asked for more.
Down from Scotland to visit my brother. Was good to see my brother happy and chatty. We were made to feel very welcome by everyone in the care home. Nothing was too much bother and staff took time to chat and make us feel welcome. I can return to Scotland knowing my brother is being well looked after. Thank you to everyone at the care home.
All the staff were friendly and helpful and my friend was happy during his short stay.
My experience with this care home was amazing! My father was a resident for only a week as respite care from hospital. From the moment he met the care home manager, I knew he felt completely safe and that he would be caringly looked after. And he certainly was. The domestics, nurses and in fact, all the staff were so friendly and personable and treated my father with such dignity. A particular mention should go to the manager and a member in staff, in particular, who my father was particularly fond of. They really did take the greatest of care of him and I will be forever grateful.
The staff at the nursing home are truly amazing, dedicated to their work, showing love, care and thoughtfulness to both the residents and their families. Nothing was ever too much trouble. My mother-in-law was a resident for three and a half years and it became her home.
Beautiful home set in lovely, well-maintained grounds. The home manager and her team should be congratulated on the exceptionally high standards of care provided at Barchester Prestbury Beaumont Care Community. My friend was treated like royalty with the utmost of respect and dignity at a very difficult time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are all angels and I will always be very grateful that you made my friend's wishes come true during the last days of his life.
Excellent staff, always happy to help. Very pleasant people. Nothing is too much trouble.
This care home is simply amazing. I moved my mother out of a different care home that I wasn't happy with and am so happy that I did. The staff are kind, friendly and caring. The food is of an excellent standard and I couldn't be more pleased with the standard of care my mother receives.
I have no hesitation in recommending Barchester Prestbury Beaumont Care Community. The attentive and personal service right from our initial look around was fantastic. The setting is outstanding and whilst the home is immaculately clean, it doesn't have a clinical feel - instead it feels like home. The staff are fantastic and can't do enough for you, as a visitor, as well as providing regular and attentive care for the resident. Our experience of end-of-life care was excellent and I can't thank the team enough for their care, guidance and support at this difficult time.
I felt immediately 'at home' on arrival. The staff always made time for a chat. There was a very nice atmosphere and I enjoyed being able to sit in various locations. I'm sorry my short stay and several visitors prevented me from joining in with activities. It all seemed very efficiently run.
From my very first contact with the deputy manager at Barchester Prestbury Beaumont Care Community, I felt we would be in safe hands. The general manager and the whole team were wonderful in every way - absolutely faultless - the most wonderful, caring people you could wish to meet. At a very difficult, worrying time, regarding Mum, we were cocooned in love and support. We did not use the facilities as Mum stayed in her room but the staff and the food were incredible.
I think some members of staff could improve communication whilst caring for the service users by explaining what is the next step so they don't feel so confused and pads could be checked more and changed more often. But above all, we understand they are doing their best and they are aware there is room for improvement. However, the staff are universally kind and friendly.
From my first impromptu visit, I could tell that the staff were very loving and caring. I was looked after so well, being so upset with regard to my father. He arrived at the home the following day, and we all knew he was going to be very well cared for. For this, I would like to say a massive thank you to all of the staff.
What stands out to me mostly abouT Barchester Prestbury Beaumont Care Community are the lovely staff who go the extra mile for the residents. There is a fabulous and varied activities programme which engages the residents and encourages friendships. Recently residents were treated to a canal boat trip, fish and chips outing and a summer fete. The staff take time to get to know the residents personally and care is centred around the individual. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this care home.
Since moving into residential care I feel safe and cared for. The staff are the kindest people I have met and I have made good friends among the other residents.
