View Full Details of Hillview Care HomeBoth me and my wife and are at the home promised rooms close but separated by two corridors the length of the building, I can not walk and my wife has dementia. I had a heart attack and told to have early nights, no way I do speak out about it, but to no avail, I am 92, and my wife 87. I would have to speak to somebody to put my side of the problems. Thursday night - Friday morning: Kept my wife up til 12:30. Friday night - Saturday morning: Put a night dress on my wife and she was left in a cold room with just me waited till 9:15 no one to take her to bed so I took her up in the lift the lead catrer was stood talking to another and said I had no right to take my wife to her room. My room was not serviced toilet was left for 1 1/2 days, no towel or face cloth or clean night clothes. No service done to the room. Went to bed at 9:15 Friday night and woke up next morning, did not feel to good. No breakfast or pills. No dinner or pills. No tea or pills. No food or pills all day. Had a problem with my bowles and needed help. They came and washed me and changed me. It was then 9:00 so no food or pills for 24hours, why? One girl made me some food and a cold drink.
I came to Hill View for the VE day celebrations. What a fantastic afternoon, the staff went above and beyond to ensure all the residents had an amazing day, great entertainment and food. All round a great day.
The care my husband is receiving at Hill View is first class and he is settling in nicely. The staff are so kind, patient and very friendly with the whole family. Hill View is excellent and the family have "peace of mind.". Thank you.
What a fabulous place! My dad was welcomed with open arms and all the staff genuinely care about the people they care for. There is a real culture of care at Hillview, and every single member of staff treats the residents with love and respect. We are so grateful to them. They take a real interest in each and every person there so that they can give them the best care. Highly recommend.
My mum has been a resident in Hillview since April 24. When she first arrived, she was very anxious and withdrawn. In a short space of time she was so settled and happy. I can not fault the care and attention of every single member of staff. Their dedication to their job is outstanding. To see my mum so well cared for is wonderful. Thank you so much.
Hillview is always clean and tidy. The staff are warm and friendly and helpful. My grandma is well cared for and treated with dignity and respect

In the 19 years I have been at Hillview I have lots of staff come and go. The staff are brilliant and I feel like I am home from home. Thank you Hillview.
I visit Mum daily and she always seems content. She is always clean and tidy. Staff and management are very friendly and approachable, any problems are sorted sooner rather than later. Home is warm and welcoming.
All the staff are excellent. They treat my mum with respect and she loves it there.

My gran came in for respite at the beginning of September; she has now become permanent. I come in to see my gran a couple of times a week, and she seems happier in herself. The care staff are always kind and professional. I love how you have a resident as your meet and greet; he always welcomes me with a cheeky smile and hello.
I visit my aunt every week and the improvement from when she came in last year is amazing. Thank you so much to the care staff at Hillview.

Staff very caring. Dad had to come into Hillview Care Home due to his dementia and mobility issues Since he's been here he has put on weight and has regained strength in his legs. He couldn't work properly at first but now is using is frame well. The home is clean and well organised. He seems happy here. We are very pleased.
My husband has been in Hillview Care Home for nearly a month after his discharge from hospital. I and my family are impressed by the care he has received at the home. He settled down really well, there is always a good feeling when I visit all the staff are very helpful and easy to talk to.

My brother went into Hillview Care Home in October. He was not eating and was very ill. He is dependent on alcohol. Whilst in Hillview the care he received was excellent. He started to eat and alcohol was monitored. When he came out he was well taking medication regularly, eating and really happy. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. It is home from home. He is now home and still making progress. Thanks to the care he received.
