View Full Details of Cromwell Court Care HomeMy father has been in Cromwell Court Care Home for a year now and is looked after well. The staff are very caring. It was his birthday recently and we visited and were made very welcome. The staff made Dad a cake and made sure he enjoyed his birthday with his family. The home is a little dated but the main thing is that Dad is cared for well and valued as a resident with staff that care for him.
My father was a resident at Cromwell court care home Warrington for over a year. I understand caring for a person with the terrible illness Dementia is challenging, I do not believe i am an unreasonable person however that is how i was made to feel. I believe one of the main failing for the management if the lack of empathy towards the family's, when placing a loved one into a homes care you have to trust they will give the person everything they can to help to make there live slightly more bearable. My father had several falls in a short space of time, when i approached Tracy the home manager to ask what we could do to reduce the risk of my father having further falls, i was told "I don't have the staff" On three separate occasions i found my father dirty and smelly, i not talking about a wet accident, i am suggesting days in the same clothes. I called Tracy where i was told "My father is resistant to his care" in my opinion keeping my father, clean, warm and fed should be basics.
Cromwell Court Care Home is good to keep mum in, they look after her well, they do activities most days, take them on trips, good food and drink, very clean home, bedrooms are lovely.
My mum has been here for two weeks she has come I leaps n bounds with the help of the nursing staff , carers , activities , and other staff. If I had to choose this as her permanent place I would be happy to do so , although I wish she could come home . My mum enjoyed her country n western night out (daytime activity) the bar is fantastic, the garden is big , the manager Tracey says use it as your own home. The rooms are big And cleaned daily when you enter the building you don't get nasty smells like some homes , they have 3 courses for lunch n dinner , the whole team are just brilliant, thank from us all x
Impressed with all the staff.
My brother in law has been at Cromwell Court for the last 2 years and my husband and I cannot praise every single member of staff enough. He sadly had a fall that caused him to go to hospital during the night a member of staff went with him and stayed there for the rest of their shift. He ended up having surgery which was successful but through other issues he sadly passed away 2 days later. We cannot fault the care he received from them. Yes he didn't go to bed at night but that was him for the last 4 years but they tried to coax him but stubborn he was. He enjoyed a laugh and joke but was a gentle giant who didn't like other residents shouting at staff. Nor can we say that staff didn't involve us in his care. Having worked in the care sector myself in the past I cannot fault a single thing. Thank you every single member of staff from maintenance , kitchen, domestic&laundry, reception, hairdresser, care and nursing teams & managers
Excellent caring and supportive services. My mum has thrived since becoming a resident at Cromwell court last September. We have found the home to be welcoming and a place my mum is content to be. Highly recommend.
The staff & management team are dedicated, caring and compassionate. They prioritise the care & wellbeing of their residents and the open door policy ensures that mutually trusting relationships are built with families.
Mum has been in Cromwell for a few years now and I sleep easier knowing that mum is safe, well looked after and cared for in the best way possible, every member of staff I talk to when I visit is great and just makes visiting easier knowing how much they care and know not only the residents but their families too
My mother has recently been in Cromwell Court for respite, and had a lovely experience the staff where very attentive to her daily needs and enjoyed being made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this care home, as based on my visits to see my mother, the staff on duty deserve to be commended for their work ethic in a difficult environment dealing with very vulnerable clients.
I always find the staff very courteous and my Mum always looks happy and content. My mums room is always tidy and her clothes are always immaculate. The home is always cheerful and the entertainment team are Brilliant.

My Mum has been a resident for 15 months. she has vascular dementia. She is very happy living there, for the first 10 months she thrived joining in the many activities provided by the staff. It was so wonderful to see her becoming the mother she had always been. She loved every single member of staff who were looking after her. It was so wonderful to watch the care, concen, compassion and even love she was shown to her. I was so happy to know she was so well looked after as it is very difficult to leave your loved ones at a very vulnerable time. The home itself is very clean and well maintained. Rooms are thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis and all the residents are well presented, they have in-house laundry service. Residents who are able can go out on trips to visits shops or places of interest. Actives happen on a daily basis when resided are encouraged to participate. I can thoroughly recommend Cromwell Court and the amazing staff, who make it home from home for all residents
My mother-in-law, who has severe dementia was admitted to Cromwell Court in January 2025 after suffering from many falls, spells in hospital, frequent police visits and at time aggressive behaviour and community care arrangements had failed to help. Since being admitted as a resident, she has had remarkable positive transformation where she has put on weight from a dangerously low weight, is sleeping better, had her medication reduced and has made new friends. We are delighted with her improvement and she is MUCH more happy. The staff at Cromwell Court are absolutely superb - they are invariably kind, thoughtful, alert to residents' needs and above all calm and compassionate. They see these poor people as real human beings and obviously care deeply for them A special shout out goes to the two ladies in the activities team for their tireless work and great activities and trips out. The home itself is in good condition and the rooms are basic but nice and regularly cleaned.
Cromwell Court is an excellent care provider for both my mother and stepfather, my mother has been a resident for four years and my stepfather is in nursing, he requires pallative care, both are treated with care and dignity, if I have any concerns the manager is always quick to reassure me, the activities are second to none, my mother loves the staff and looks upon them as family, she always has a smile on her face.
My mum is a resident and since being at Cromwell Court has improved so much. She is very well looked after and the staff are amazing and go above and beyond. She is very happy and always looks clean. We as a family will always be grateful for the love and care she receives off the amazing staff. Thank you so very much.
Dad has been at Cromwell Court after discharge for assessment after a lengthy stay in hospital. This is my first experience of the care home system and I have been worried about making a decision about care for my dad, this is not a situation he or we ever wanted for him. But from day 1 the care has been outstanding. He has been treated with respect and dignity by the staff and he has settled so well. He was so happy to go out on a day trip to a local museum as this was his first trip into the outside world since July before he was admitted to hospital. The staff are so caring and I can tell they love their vocation. The whole experience to date has made the very hard decision to place Dad at Cromwell easy and both myself and my sister know he will be very much looked after. Thank you to the manager and your fabulous team.
We had a wonderful time on 3rd August 2024, it was my dad's 90th birthday, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. My dad had a great day. It was only my 2nd visit to the home, I am visiting from Australia, and it was lovely to see how special Dad is to those who look after him. I was very happy to experience the environment he now lives in. Thank you to all members of the Cromwell Court team for taking great care of him.
I was extremely anxious about taking Mum to a nursing home but this was very quickly overcome. The staff here at Cromwell Court are amazing, caring, polite, and very hard-working, and with their knowledge, Mum was made to feel at home, and within a few days I could see was settled. A relief to say the least. She is now in a safe environment with her care needs to be met and my mind is at ease, mum has even made friends which is lovely to see. I would highly recommend Cromwell Court, staff and management do outstanding work here to ensure the very best care is given - Thank you.
