My mum was placed at St Mary's after her needs had changed from a bleed on her brain, the unit, staff and facilities are amazing compared to the previous home she was in earlier in the year. Communication from all staff is 100% and nothing is too much trouble. The unit is always spotless and doesn't
have a dank odor like previous home. Mum always looks clean, tidy and dressed properly. Visitors are always treated with a warm welcome. Very happy with everything at St Mary's and it is a nice feeling to know mum is safe, and cared for as we would like. Alex is amazing!!

Unbeknown to us my soon to be daughter in law approached St Mary's to ask if it was possible to include my husband in her upcoming wedding to my son. As my husband has complex needs he would be unable to leave their care. St Mary's wholeheartedly agreed and they arranged together a blessing which we
were made aware of nearer the time. I was so surprised on the day to enter the garden to be met by very happy smiling staff with a decorated gazebo and soft music playing, my husband looking very smart dressed for the occasion. On arrival of the bride and groom a ring blessing took place which fully included my husband followed by a toast to the happy couple with platters of food to enjoy. I want to thank St Mary's from the bottom of my heart to have gone out of their way to make this happen, so my husband and I could celebrate together part of this very special day, the marriage of our son to his thoughtful kind hearted bride. Once again thank you I shall never forget all your kindness.

It is hard watching a close relative or friend decline in this situation but all the staff at St Mary's are always kind and attentive.
Of course there are never enough facilities, activities, potential remedies, comforts, and simply time for each resident.
Our brother has been cared for in the
best possible way.

Rose unit. Since mum has been here ( 2 years now) the care has been nothing but exemplary. The elite care here is miles apart from others. My relative says she always feels safe and cared for. I can assure anyone considering here would be absolutely overwhelmed by the genuine compassion and care
given. There is lots to do, team always work hard for the residents and go above and beyond from nurses, carers to cleaners. Beautiful well maintained home also, 5 star.

My brother was placed at St Mary's 1.5 years ago, he has a severe brain injury at the age of 44. I can't compliment the team at St Mary's enough, they are so dedicated to their residents and go above and beyond for them. They are also super supportive to the families who are trying to navigate a
difficult situation to support their loves ones. The manager of Stephenson ward is so fantastic, sharing a wealth of knowledge and going the extra mile for my brother everyday.

My expereince as the brother and deputy for my sister, who is a resident at St Mary's, has been excellent. I find the staff very friendly and efficient, yet informal. She settled in very quickly, which put me at ease. Since then, for the past two years, she has enjoyed St Mary's and has become "part
of the team".

My mum has just become a resident at St Mary's after 14 weeks in hospital. She is 90 with dementia so I was extremely anxious for her to go into nursing care. The staff at St Mary's have gone above and beyond to alleviate my worries as the patience, care and kindness they have shown to Mum are
second to none. Mum is in the Forshaw Unit, it is spotlessly clean and always has a lovely atmosphere when I visit. I would recommend it to anyone if they are looking for the most caring place for their loved ones.
