Grandmother came to Springfield in late November, she was met with the most caring members of staff. She was lucky to encounter a Portuguese carer. I have raised a few issues such as not changed often enough or jugs of water not changed for 3 days. I have also noticed how some members of staff get
too comfortable. All staff members are amazing, where all just adapting as we go I suppose.

My mother came to New Springfield from hospital for palliative care. It was extremely worrying time for all of us. We were welcomed warmly and settled in quickly. My mother said "why are they treating me so well coming here?" The staff have been excellent with mother and she has warmed to all of
them. The discussions regarding care plans is very reassuring and given me more peace of mind.

My mothers health and condition has improved the staff are very helpful and my mother is well cared for, the accommodation is very clean, and the food is very good.

My mum has been in New Springfield since 2019, she has alzheimers/dementia and it is now quite advanced but the care home has always adapted well to her changing care needs and I feel quite happy, she is well looked after. The home has recently been decorated and the environment is pleasant with
caring staff.

My experience of each other care is good. All staff seem professional and caring and do a good job in difficult circumstances. My mother seems quite happy.

My dad has been in Springfield Home since August. He has a very nice, spacious bedroom which is kept clean and tidy. The senior nursing staff deal promptly with any concerns, either medical or personal. The food is good, and there is plenty of it. There are various activities several times a week. I
feel confident that my dad is being cared for and is happy to be left.

My mum has been at Springfield for 3 years and I'm happy with how she is being cared for. The staff are always helpful and always contact me with any updates or concerns. It's always clean and tidy in her room and my mum looks clean and always fresh clean clothes on.

I like living here, the food is good. Staff very nice, and they encourage me to be more independent. I find it clean and tidy. I am going to Blackpool soon to see the lights.

Frank would never have wanted to be in a care home but is very happy here. The staff have built a good relationship with him. We are happy that he is being looked after (cleaned and feed) as beforehand he has been self neglecting due to mobility.

Out of all the care homes in the region there was no better care home to support/care for my mum and dad than new Springfield care home. My dad seriously loved the company especially at mealtimes getting the chance to meet new people . My my with dementia was unsettled unfortunately but no fault to
the care home but wow the staff were fantastic and he keeps talking about them and does miss them it was such a relief for me to take some annual leave without any worrys and was very happy they got the care and rest that they desserve. Thank you to management for helping me out and to all staff for making my parents feel so welcomed and very well cared for 5 star all day long

Mum's stay, since 2023, has been a testing one due to her mental health. However, since the take over, it seems that her needs, physical, mental and general attention, has improved. The food has especially been improved to a lighter standard. The surroundings and facilities along with a cinema style
room area great idea. The staff are special and have a great rapport with mum which is vital for me. And after 2 years and 5 months, my mum's well-being is more than satisfactory.

Excellent communication with all the staff. The staff are very pleasant and answer any questions you ask of them. My brother has made very good progress since he was admitted to Springfield from the hospital. His health and well-being have come on in leaps and bounds, and the food is of good
standards and portions. My brother was underweight but is now in the normal range.

Although my husband has only been in for 2 weeks, the care has gone beyond expectations. Staff have been extremely kind & caring. Rooms are spacious and namely with large food and drinks selections. It is a safe space with good value for money.

I Can't thank the team at New Springfield Care Home enough, their excellent care of my father gave my mum peace of mind to be able to relax and enjoy her much needed break. The little extras like his glass of wine or 3 in the evening lol definitely helped, dad does love his wine. I know mum has no
hesitation using the home for future respite for dad. We have 2 further respite breaks booked with yourselves. Once again thank you so much you all
do an excellent job.

I was dreading having to put my mum into a care home but as a family we all decided it was the right the time. My mum has dementia and is non verbal so this was worrying knowing she couldn't communicate with anyone. She went in November 24 and I can honestly say she is doing amazing. I go to see her
every week and every time she's always clean, dressed, happy and content. She's made her own little family in there. They take mum out on day trips and show me photographs what she's been up too which is really lovely to see as she didn't like leaving the house for years.
The staff are lovely always engaging with her. The care home itself it's very clean which I love. They have recently painted and decorated since mum has been there and it looks so fresh and more up to date now. They have done a great job. Her room is always spotless and hoovered. I would 100% recommend this care home.

overall excellent, the current renovations are looking excellent. the new lift being installed, will be a game changer. staff are attentive to Dads needs, overall he is happy with his surroundings and has made a few friends there.

Night staff need to be reviewed. Not really caring enough for residents. My dad was in hospital for four days after falling out of bed. The floor mat is not in place! All my comments refer to day staff which are excellent. A change of menu would be good at lunchtime.

I moved into Springfield Care Home fourteen months ago. I enjoy being here a lot.
