Recently my dear friend passed away after 18 years of living at Dearnevale. I would like to commend the team at Dearnevale for the care and compassion that they provided from the beginning to the very end. My friend was in services from being a child and never truly felt like he belonged until he
come to Dearnevale. They become a family to him and I am truly greatful to them for giving him the sense of belonging and support especially in his final parts of life. Dearnevale truly is the most outstanding home with the most outstanding team of staff.

Dearnevale Care Home is the best care home we have seen. The care what my son is given is 100% and more if you could give. Staff make me feel very welcomed. The home is clean and tidy the staff are always supportive to service users and family. I as a mum can not thank Dearnevale enough.

We have found Dearnevale to be the best place for our daughter, its well staffed and they all care for her very well. The management are always approchable if we have anything we have anything to discuss. The place is clean and well maintained. Our daughter is happy here and has a good relationship
with many staff dispite her complex care needs and knows their names.

I find Dearnevale and all the staff are amazing the amenities, events and days out for people who live there are outstanding, as is the love and care the staff share, I am happy and at ease knowing my brother is being cared for and loved by staff who go above and beyond their duty.

If I could aware 10 stars to Dearnevale I would. The care my loved one recieves is absolutly outstanding, he is happy here which is so important. The standards kept at Darnevale out class the first carehome he stayed at. Without, Dearnevale I really don't know how I'd cope with life as I can't care
at home for the needs he needs. Dearnvale has given life back to us all concerned.

What can I say about my husband's care home. From the minute you walk through the door it feels like a second home. From staff in the reception, management the care staff, the cleaners, skills team, everyone. Everybody treats me and my family with such respect and friendliness. I feel part of the
family, the care they give my husband Paul and others is second to none, treating every person with individuality, respect and dignity. I don't know where I'd be without them. I call them Paul's Angel's. Everything is outstanding and the little touches are amazing.

My step dad is a resident in Dearnevale Care Home and I couldn't ask for him to be anywhere better. The staff who care for him are absolutely amazing and its so settling knowing that he has carers who truly love and care for him like their own family! They always go above and beyond to make sure my
step dad is happy and comfortable and looked after properly. They also show so much love and support to our family at ay time that is needed and we are so grateful .

Everyone at Dearnevale are outstanding, and they go above and beyond for care and needs. I couldn't thank everyone enough for the care they provide for my mum. One of the best care homes in Barnsley. The support they provide for family is outstanding. Brilliant. I love Dearnevale, and my mum does

Best day when Mathew moved in. We feel he is in a safe place. Excelent home very happy with the home. The staff are excelent.

After my mum's journey through her appalling and disgusting care home, mum is now in Dearnvale Grimethorpe, very settled, care-free and loved with dignity and respect. We can now sleep at night with rest.

Since my mum left her family home, she has she has been treated with a lack of respect from a number of care homes, and hospitals, which I will not discuss on this form:- Dearnevale Grimethorpe, my mum's last home is 100% and cares for my mum's needs. She is cared for and loved by all workers, and
mum is settled, beautifully, and has made lovely friends; nothing is too much to ask for. My mums family are very welcome.

Visit quite often to see my father-in-law on any basis and can categorically say we are truly overwhelmed with the care that's provided. The staff are second to none and deserve a commendation for their skills and politeness towards him and his family. The home is very clean and all times and
pleasant odour too. A huge thank you to be given to each individual working at Dearnevale.

My wife has been at Dearnevale for 8 years and I can't thank each and every one for their support they give us as a family. Dearnevale is amazing, each day is different for my wife and can be challenging at times but staff give 100% to her needs, which as a family we are forever grateful.

Dearnvale is just a fantastic place for my daughter, the staff are amazing and nothing is too much. My daughter is so happy at Dearnevale and with all the attention and care she receives I am not surprised. The care she receives is not just her personal care but she gets pampered and is always doing
something with the fantastic staff. I cannot thank and praise Dearnevale enough and will always be so grateful.

I visited regularly and always find the staff very friendly and attentive to the service users. The service user who I visit is so happy living here.

My mum has been here nearly 5 years now. The staff are truly amazing, it is always very welcoming. I visit with various family members and the comfort we all get from knowing how well the care given here is, it's just fantastic. I believe if my mum was anywhere else she would never have had the
opportunities she has. We are all very thankful for you all.

This care home is amazing. Our daughter has multiple needs, mentally and physically. The staff and management are very professional, yet warm and friendly. The rooms are spotless, yet very homely.
It is always a very happy and safe environment.
We are all extremely pleased with the high standard
of care.
