View Full Details of Holly ParkI have visited my brother on three occasions this month and have found him clean, comfortable and happy. The staff treat him with respect and affection, and I am content in the knowledge that he has everything he needs. I had a long chat with two of his carers on my most recent visit, and I was impressed by the care they gave him and the obvious warm regard in which he is held. The home has a warm and friendly atmosphere, and I have felt welcome on each visit.
The only thing I have trouble with is there doesn't seem to be any activities on when we go to see mum. The residents just seem to be left sitting around doing nothing. This is the only negative I have with care home.
We find Holly Park Care Home very safe and clean. All the staff are very friendly, kind and caring and will go above and beyond to cater to the individual requirements of all the residents. They are very welcoming to the residents' families and visitors, and nothing is too much trouble. We are very satisfied and would recommend Holly Park to other people. It has given us peace of mind to know and see how Holly Park staff have cared for and treated our family member.
My opinion of Holly Park Care Home is that when visiting greeted by staff who are pleasant and cheerful, always on hand to help anyone at any time, and give patients respect. The home is homely and well cared for, it's clean, meals are good, and they get well fed with a choice of meals at all times. So it really is a good place for anybody to stay there.
Mum is a long term resident, and is self funding. She has Alzheimer's and is becoming increasingly frail. Due to the pandemic, we did not get to choose a care home. Social Services did, but we were lucky. Mum is well looked after, treated with kindness, patience and affection. Any problems are dealt with promptly. Mum is always appropriately dressed in clean clothes. Holly Park has an upbeat vibe thanks to the HCAs, and the recent refurbishments are interesting and exciting. I have full confidence that Holly Park will endeavour to continue to keep Mum as safe and as comfortable as possible as she inevitably declines.
My aunt has dementia but is cared for with care and dignity. She needs assistance with most daily routines of dressing, washing and encouragement to eat which is carried out kindly and with fun. She is treated with respect and her needs are well catered for. The staff know her very well and as a result she is well looked after. Staff know the families well too. They are friendly and willing to cooperate with any request made of them. Can't thank them enough.
The recent improvements in the decore and furnishings at Holly Park have improved the quality and experience of not only visitors - staff and more importantly the residents . Allied with the improvements in communications it's a remarkable upgrade in often quiet testing times for visitors and residents. There's 1 or 2 minor issues which are currently being addressed, other than that I would have no problems recommending this facility to other potential residents.
Homely staff interact with residents and visitors as friends. The atmosphere reminds me of a seaside boarding house. Problems are quickly sorted by staff with a minimum of fuss.
