View Full Details of Aden Court Care HomeThe main thing with a care home is that they employ caring people who understand the diverse needs of residents and respect those. Consistency in the staff is also important so that there can be continuous care. Aden Court achieves these things. My Uncle received excellent nursing care in his latter months despite his many physical challenges. If you are searching for a place for your loved one then I would recommend you visit Aden Court.
Mum was admitted into Aden Court in early May after it became increasingly evident that she was not coping and not safe at home despite having carers assisting her four times a day as well as additional family support a number of times each day. In the early days Mum was quite unsettled but with the care and attention from a clearly focused and hard working staff she has slowly but surely started to settle and is starting to interact with other residents and is joining in the various activities. We are comforted that she is now supported, well looked after, cared for and is being well fed. Her accommodation is clean and laundry is dealt with and returned to her room. All things considered, we are happy with the staff and facilities that Aden Court provides.
Our mum was a resident at Aden Court for several years, where she was very happy and comfortable. All staff showed compassion, care, dignity and carers support. Aden Court provided a very homely atmosphere which was lovely to see. Staff took time to spend quality and individual time with our mum where a lot of humour was shared. Sadly our mum passed away in February at Aden Court. Staff were very considerate, caring and showed compassion throughout our mums final weeks. As a family, we would highly recommend Aden Court for your loved one.
Arrived at the home in August 2024 and passed away March 2025. The care at the home was the best that we could have asked for. Good communication throughout with all staff members and when they couldn't give you the answers direct, they would go and find out and came back to you with the answer. Staff were very caring and supportive.
My mum became a resident in this home,as she was not able to look after herself.i was shown round by a lovely member of staff. My mum was looked after to the full extreme.i never had any issues with my mum care. The staff are helpful and caring.
Our mum spent the final year of her life at Aden Court and we will always be grateful for the kindness and compassion she received. Every member of staff - from carers to kitchen and domestic teams - treated her with dignity, patience, and warmth. We'd especially like to thank one lady for the biscuits, another two for the banter and laughs, and another lady for the care and attention she gave Mum - especially doing her nails, which always made her feel that little bit special. In her final days, the care was gentle and respectful, and we felt truly supported. Knowing she was surrounded by such kind, capable hands brought us great comfort. Thank you for everything you did for Mum, and for us as a family.
Our experience of Aden Court was the best it could be. Staff were respectful, helpful and caring of my dad and his many difficulties. All staff made it to work in the severe snow and ice we had. I was safe in the knowledge that my dad was warm, secure and well fed when I was unable to get there. Always respectful of the families wishes right to the end. Thank you.
Dad has been at Aden Court for nearly 2 months now and he has his appetite back after rarely eating at home. The food is home-cooked, nutritious with a varied selection. On Christmas Day the staff made it special for all the residents and the visiting families. Dad enjoyed a 3-course meal and we were also offered to eat with him if we'd have wanted to. The staff always take time to chat with Dad and bring a selection of drinks and snacks to the rooms, as presently he chooses to remain in his room. There are some lovely communal rooms with a variety of activities going on. If there are any concerns or questions the staff, especially the manager listen and address them immediately if possible, or work with the resident and family towards solutions. Doctors informed us that Dad was end of life and may not be with us for long, however, he has started to thrive at Aden Court and we hope that progression will continue, to make him as comfortable as possible.
I was shown around by a member of staff, she was informative and friendly. The staff are great, very helpful and they make her feel comfortable. She is fed very well and the manager portrays a positive attitude. I would highly recommend Aden Court Care Home.
We found the care at Aden Court to be sympathetic and compassionate. There were plenty of activities for people who wanted to join in and staff were friendly and efficient. In particular, the manager was exceptionally helpful during a crisis and we were very grateful for her warm welcome.
I have been here for more than 12 months, very comfortable, reasonably happy and more new friends. Well-fed and very clean.
I brought my father here with reluctance because I thought my father would be unhappy. How wrong I was. He tells me every day how the staff are friendly. The food is very tasty and the residence is welcoming.
I arrived at Aden Court on Tuesday 7/11/23 and was greeted by three members of staff, who helped settle in. Within the first 24 hours, I felt totally at home. The carers here are hard-working, dedicated people who are polite, accommodating, and helpful. My stay here has been a pleasure. I have suspected Parkinson's disease, if at a later date I am unable to look after myself properly, it is my wish that I could return here, where I know I will be well cared for. My family are aware of my wishes.
My mum's stay at Aden Court whilst short at just 1 month, was made all the better by all the staff who could not have done more to keep my mum comfortable for the final stage of her life. I had visited a few different homes but from the second I walked in, it was evident that Aden Court was a place that would show my mum respect and dignity whilst being amazingly clean. From the moment she arrived from the hospital, everyone from the care home manager, to the resident chef visited her room to make sure she could enjoy what was to be her last birthday. Even in the final days and hours, the team supported me with what to expect and when certain things were going to happen and for that, I will be forever thankful.
Mum seems to have settled in well, having only been at Aden Court for a couple of months. She absolutely loves the day staff and management. From what I've seen, they take genuine care of her. However, she has mentioned she feels less safe at night as the staff are different. She seems to enjoy the food, though has said it's sometimes repetitive. I feel happy knowing Mum is being cared for at Aden Court.
I wanted to thank your brilliant staff who have been so caring, kind and helpful to us whilst we have had to use your services. From the manager to all the caring staff, they have been fantastic and I would highly recommend your home to others.
My dad was admitted 10th April and from the first day all the staff were very warm and welcoming. They all did an excellent job of making our dad feel comfy and wanted. On his last day all his friends, daughter and son were there and they could not do enough for us. Special thanks to the manager and another particular member of staff for looking after him. I would highly recommend Aden Court for end-of-life care. My dad was much happier there than hospital even with the bit of time he had there.
My mother had a 2 1/2 year stay at Aden Court and was well looked after. She was bedbound the entire stay so did not use the communal rooms and was served all her meals in the room. Staff were friendly and cheerful throughout and Mother was kept clean and presentable at all times.
My son and I were well taken care of through our difficult time. The staff were wonderful. The staff were very caring in their work.
This review relates to the period between 6th to 11th March 2024. My mother-in-law was admitted for 1 week but ended up being in for 5 weeks of palliative care. All the staff were friendly, compassionate and professional at all times. Nothing was too much trouble and they gave 100% care. All staff were approachable and confidential and gave the utmost best of care at all times. They cared for my mother-in-law with professionalism from the start to her sad passing. I thank you for the excellent care that was given at all times.
