Aden Court Care Home

When I come in to visit my brother I am always met with a smile and frendly staff. My brother is always clean, he looks well and tells us that he likes it here when I ask why he says everyone is nice and the meals are very good. If he needs anything when we are their he is attended to quickly. They never shrug or complain about him. He is not easy to look after he likes to tell tales that take a while and they listen to him with patience. A trully wonderful place, clean tidy. All staff approachable.

I would like to say my brother William is very happy and he is looked after very well. I come every week and every one is very nice. I have know complaints ever thing is very nice he is just looked after so well.

My mum is currently receiving full-time nursing care, at Aden Court. My grandma also received care there too. Having spent lots of time at Aden Court my overall opinion is the care both received/or are receiving has been second to none. The staff do an unbelievable job right from the management, the nursing staff down to the domestic cleaners. I wouldn't wish for anything more

My mother in law moved into Aden Court a few months ago. From the start the staff were genuinely interested in her likes and dislikes, making a tailored care plan to acknowledge this. We were allowed to decorate her room to her taste and bring things from home to make it hers. Staff were always attentive to her needs. We, as a family, feel very secure in the knowledge that she has been very well cared for. All staff were friendly and we were regularly asked if we needed anything. Despite my mother-in-law's declining health we were kept up to date on any changes, and things were actioned to improve the quality of her life. We are very grateful for this.

The staff here are wonderful and caring, and feel safe leaving my severely disabled wife in their hands.

Mum was admitted to Aden Court on 22/02/26 after numerous weeks stay in HRI after several falls. Even though she was only there 4 days until she passed, she was treated brilliantly. The staff were welcoming, friendly and understanding. They also made us (family) very confident that mum was going to be well looked after, and she was, to the end. Thank you to the staff nurses, carers of the brilliant care home manager.

The Staff team at Aden Court have been amazing and have excelled in the care of my mum until her passing this last week. Mum arrived at Aden Court for 'end of life care' in August 2025. The care and compassion she received here has been excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. They kept her fed, warm, clean and comfortable. They chatted to her when she was awake and made sure they got to know her. They made sure she felt safe and secure day and night. There were many visitors to my mum in the months before she passed away. All visits were unannounced. Not once was our mum found to be in a state of discomfort or unrest. I would highly recommend Aden Court to anyone with an elderly vulnerable person that they need to make care decisions about. The whole staff team's work ethic, kindness and care have made the past few months slightly more bearable for our mum's close family and friends and most importantly for her. I cannot thank them enough.

From my initial appointment to view the home and facilities, to today, after my wife has been a resident for 11 days, the staff and management of Aden Court have filled me with confidence that she will be respectfully, carefully, and lovingly cared for during her stay, no matter how long this may be. I tend to be oversolicitous, but my wife is the only thing in my life, and no matter how fussy I may be, nothing is too much bother for the staff, under an excellent management team. I wish that I were in a position to look after my wife myself; regretfully this is simply not possible, but I am very happy that she is in the care of such a lovely team at Aden Court.

My father was moved into Aden Court from hospital, this was a huge change for my dad, and as he has only been there for a couple of weeks, I have been impressed by all the staff from the back office staff to the manager and if course the health care nurses and care staff. My father has been treated with dignity and respect. I will provide a further update once he has been in a little longer, but as it stands I may just have to move the star rating up to 5.

The care at the home was the best that we could have asked for. Good communication throughout with all staff members and when they couldn't give you the answers direct, they would go and find out and came back to you with the answer. Staff were very caring and supportive.

My mum became a resident in this home,as she was not able to look after herself.i was shown round by a lovely member of staff.My mum was looked after to the full extreme.i never had any issues with my mum care.The staff are helpful and caring.

Our experience of Aden Court was the best it could be. Staff were respectful, helpful and caring of my dad and his many difficulties. All staff made it to work in the severe snow and ice we had. I was safe in the knowledge that my dad was warm, secure and well fed when I was unable to get there. Always respectful of the families wishes right to the end. Thank you.

Dad has been at Aden Court for nearly 2 months now and he has his appetite back after rarely eating at home. The food is home-cooked, nutritious with a varied selection. On Christmas Day the staff made it special for all the residents and the visiting families. Dad enjoyed a 3-course meal and we were also offered to eat with him if we'd have wanted to. The staff always take time to chat with Dad and bring a selection of drinks and snacks to the rooms, as presently he chooses to remain in his room. There are some lovely communal rooms with a variety of activities going on. If there are any concerns or questions the staff, especially the manager listen and address them immediately if possible, or work with the resident and family towards solutions. Doctors informed us that Dad was end of life and may not be with us for long, however, he has started to thrive at Aden Court and we hope that progression will continue, to make him as comfortable as possible.

I was shown around by a member of staff, she was informative and friendly. The staff are great, very helpful and they make her feel comfortable. She is fed very well and the manager portrays a positive attitude. I would highly recommend Aden Court Care Home.

We found the care at Aden Court to be sympathetic and compassionate. There were plenty of activities for people who wanted to join in and staff were friendly and efficient. In particular, the manager was exceptionally helpful during a crisis and we were very grateful for her warm welcome.

I have been here for more than 12 months, very comfortable, reasonably happy and more new friends. Well-fed and very clean.
