Our relatives, (two elderly sisters) have recently joined Aden Court and our initial experience has been very positive. The home is always warm and friendly. The Manager could not have made us more welcome and all members of the care home staff have a positive and cheerful demeanour. It seems that
they cannot do enough to make the place a pleasant place to live and socialise. Our relatives have quickly settled in and seem to be enjoying being there. Their happiness goes a long way to making us happy too.

Lisa Boyd

Job Title: Home manager

Joined: 2009

I have worked in the health and social care sector for 30 years. I started my career in the care sector as a care assistant, progressed to senior, care manager then home manager in 2009. I did get promoted to regional manager for over 3 years and although I enjoyed the role, and learnt a lot, my passion was being a home manager.


Working alongside supporting and developing my team whilst prompting good quality care for our residents is what drives me, along with having good solid relationships with other professionals.


My greatest achievement is getting a diploma in my manager's qualification.


We are very passionate about End-of-Life care for both families and their loved ones, we work very closely with the hospice palliative team.


We have strong values at Aden Court – Compassion, Aspiration, Respect & Empowerment.
