All staff are welcoming and friendly, they go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble. My mum recieves fantastic person centred care and is very settled here. There is a variety of activities and entertainment for residents and the planned family events are very wholesome. The home is
always spotlessly clean and there's a warm welcoming atmosphere. We as a family are so grateful to you all, keep up the excellent work.

As a family we attended the Elvis tribute day.
The staff were fantastic as always. The entertainment exceptional.
As family of a resident it's so reassuring and pleasing to see the efforts and care of all the staff towards our mum..
we as a family could not be happier with the home as a whole
and all the entertainment they arranged involving family is so heartwarming.

Great atmosphere for the residents, my dad is well cared for and happy here. Staff are friendly helpful and very caring. The communication is great I am kept well informed and updated on a regular basis. Access to the home is easy for visits. Very happy with everything.

My auntie has been here approximately 2 1/2 years. I've never had any problems that haven't been resolved. She couldn't be in a better place. Lovely staff and management.

My brother in law and sister were both in White Rose at the same time. The staff were attentive and caring and their patience was outstanding. They gave comfort and care to my relatives and were understanding and informative to all family members as we tried to support my relatives.
I am not just
talking about the care staff who were skilled and understanding but the housekeeping staff, the kitchen staff and the finance office gave us exactly the help that we needed. A number of the carers were highly qualified in their country of origin with qualifications that were not yet recognised in UK. We had all the benefits of their knowledge and experience.
The family are greatly appreciative of your support at this most difficult time for us.

Very happy with the carehome. Very difficult decision when placing your loved one into a home, but it is reassuring when you walk in and our relative looks content & well cared for. The home is very clean. Good home cooked food but most important the staff are very attentive from the
cleaners/laundry staff carers up to the Manager. Everyone is always willing to help. They interact with residents & family & are always reassuring & put a smile on their faces. I would recommend White Rose as a safe happy home.

all staff very caring and helpful and friendly . Lovely cooked meals daily all food fresh and tasty. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Rooms cleaned regularly throughout the day. Jenny the manager excellent listener and very helpful and approachable.

The home provides the service we needed in order to ensure Mum is safe and well looked after.
All the staff are attentive (as you would expect) and have developed a trusting relationship with Mum, which she clearly enjoys.
Always exceptionally clean and fresh environment, recent decorative
enhancements have helped by adding colourful visual stimulation, a benefit for helping with dementia issues.

Day staff are friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. If the review was based only on the day team it would be a 5 star review. Always very accommodating to visitors. Some members of the night team are less accommodating which is a shame. Overall this home is very good and I would

My friend is very happy and content in this home. All carers we talked to are cheerful and polite. The house is very clean,but doesn't smell of chemicals.
Ideal for people who can still walk as they can even go pass each other with a Zimmer frame.

We spoke to the manager and explained how desperate were to move our beautiful mum from 1 care home to the White Rose. Her basic needs were not been met, mumbled Alzheimer's and manager listened to us, went to asses mum and within 2 days mum had a room near the nursing desk with a beautiful, comfy
bed. All staff were friendly and would welcome us all into spend time with mum. Mum was treated with dignity and respect. They supported us all through mum's last journey in life. Everyone had the skills and understanding of dementia. We cant thank you enough.

My aunt has advanced Alzheimer's and unfortunately doesn't know me really any more. She moved from a care home in Lepton when it closed over a year ago and I am very pleased with her care. The home is clean and well-presented, the staff are caring, helpful and friendly. Although she cannot
participate in much, she enjoys some of the activities and apparently 'Elvis' is a great hit with her! Thank you for her continuing care.

I highly recommend White Rose Care Home for end-of-life care. Absolutely fantastic. My dad was admitted for end-of-life care in December 2023 and died in February 2024.
The care he received was outstanding. All staff members are friendly, caring and professional, nothing was too much for them.
They not only looked after my dad but also supported all the family and this support has continued since Dad died as they now invite my mum to social events they hold. I can't thank them enough for the care and support we all received.

White Rose House was recommended to me for my mother's care and we have not been disappointed. I am constantly informed of any alterations in Mother's health and care needs. Facilities and care are excellent and I cannot find any faults and would recommend White Rose House to anyone.

My friend has recently become a resident at White Rose House after a short spell in hospital. I cannot fault the care she is receiving there. Under the management, the staff are wonderful. I have seen nothing but kindness and politeness. The food is also of good quality and plentiful. Beautifully
cooked.
At the moment my friend's stay is temporary but after a spell at home if she was unable to cope I would certainly recommend she went there again.

After suffering a COPD/suspected heart failure downturn at home at the end of October I spent twelve days at hospital after which time I elected to come to White Rose House for respite rather than return to my own home (alone) with carers calling four times per day... I have now been here for four
weeks and am so pleased I made that decision! I have a calm and very pleasant room with an ensuite and a bright outlook onto the courtyard garden and hills beyond. The staff are all so helpful, friendly, reassuring and are there for everyone here they really are remarkable. I have no doubt, however long I stay, I will have benefitted greatly from the care and encouragement I have received and am sure the long term residents here would feel the same.

My 90-year-old, dementia suffering father went into this home, from his first day the care and support he has received has been first class. The manager and her team have been magnificent in helping Dad settle in. We have seen his mood improve, he is more engaged and is certainly happier than he was
alone at home.

Mum has been at White Rose House for the past 15 months which has not been an easy time. The staff are extremely kind and have looked after her really well. Whenever I ring and ask to speak to her, the person who answers the phone, always knows where she is and how she is. They are always happy to
have a chat or pass the phone to her. The home is bright, modern and there are often activities going on and a garden for good weather. At my first official return visit on Monday, I was made so welcome it was really heartwarming and I was very pleased. It’s been such a difficult time over the last twelve months, but I am grateful to all the staff for the care afforded to my mum.

White Rose House has kept the safety of their residents at the forefront of their minds during this extremely difficult time. However, they have recognised the need for contact with families and friends and have facilitated this, as best they can. When phoning to check how my mum is, I have never
felt a bother and have, in general, been updated with a nice anecdote. When I was allowed to visit the Home, it was always clean and well maintained. The communal areas and bedrooms are well furnished and the food looks nice. I have sampled it myself and had no complaints. The staff are friendly and the addition of the wellbeing co-ordinators has been of great benefit.

I highly recommend White Rose Care Home for end-of-life care. Absolutely fantastic. My dad was admitted for end-of-life care in December 2023 and died in February 2024.
