My mum has been in the White Rose House for about a year. It's a pleasant environment in a nice location. All the staff have been friendly and attentive and treated her well. The courtyard garden is also a nice place to sit. The food is ok, but more variety would be a bonus.
Thank you for your review! We're glad that your mother is happy and supported at our home. It's lovely to hear that you and your mother are enjoying our facilities and the environment that we have created! Thank you for your feedback about our food variety; we will work towards improving this as soon as possible.
This is a lovely home, the staff are excellent they go above and beyond , nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent, freshly cooked each day, facilities are brilliant with friendly polite staff.
Thank you for this lovely review. We're over the moon to hear that you're happy in our care! It's so rewarding to hear that our team's hard work has such a positive impact, and it's a pleasure to care for you.
Very warm, very welcoming, nice people.
Thank you for your positive review! We're so glad that your partner is happy in our home. It's lovely to hear that our team has made you both feel welcomed and supported!
From the moment we walk in the door to visit Mum we are met with a kind, warm and friendly welcome. The staff at all levels display a culture of competent professionalism, empathy and care from good leadership. Any health or social issues are quickly trouble shooted and escalated where necessary by knowledgable and clinically competent staff . It's difficult to place your loved one in residential care on so many levels but White Rose House has smoothed this difficult transition and life change for Mum and us. Little things like welcoming her little dog who was the center of her world for visits to helping her with her make up and hair and clothes choices as well as her spiritual needs and her wish for fresh air in the garden show very holistically centred care. It's reassuring to know Mum and the other residents are being lovingly cared for and occupied with many wonderful activities, outings and live entertainment. Keep up the amazing work you all do, you should be very proud
Thank you for such a wonderful review! It's so lovely to hear that your mother is happy and supported within our care. Our team will be over the moon to hear that their hard work is making such a positive impact on our residents (and their loved ones!). Thank you for trusting us with your mother's care; it's a pleasure to have her as part of our family at White Rose House.
Overall, we have had a very positive experience with White Rose care home. The staff are friendly, caring, professional, and always treat residents with kindness and respect from my observations. The management team have always been very supportive too. In my opinion, the only area for improvement would be having more organised activities. This would help take the experience from very good to outstanding by providing additional stimulation, enjoyment, and social connection for residents.
Thank you for a lovely review. We're so glad to hear that your loved one is happy and supported in our care! We really appreciate your feedback, as we are always striving to improve every aspect of our care. We will pass this concern along to our Activities Co-Ordinator.
. I visited very regularly , and all staff including domestic staff, maintenance staff, catering staff , and everyone that I ever came into contact with each day were supportive of both my Mum and myself. She had always been a lively , spirited personality and the staff warmed to that and embraced her sense of humour . She was encouraged to be the best that she could be . The facilities , the public and residential areas of the home are bright and welcoming , just a lovely environment. . During my Mums last days the love and support shown to mum and myself was invaluable.
Thank you so much for this review. We understand how difficult the transition into care can be, so thank you for trusting us with your mother's care! We're over the moon to hear that you and your mother have had such a positive experience with us. It's a pleasure to have both of you in our family at White Rose House.
Staff are friendly and helpful, seem to be always ready to answer questions and help in any way possible. Residents are clean and well presented. residence is also clean, and a sense of calmness in the building. Would be happy to have a family member stay if needed.
Thank you for this kind review! We're over the moon that our team has made a positive impact on you and your loved one. We greatly appreciate your recommendation!
White Rose has been the perfect place for my dad. He's resided here since Feb 26 and the staff and carers have looked after him tirelessly since then. The care setting is spotlessly clean and the food and care my dad gets is second to none. He's really settled and it's due to all their hard work.
Thank you for this lovely review. It's so wonderful to hear that your father is happy in our care! It's so rewarding to hear that our team is making such a positive impact on his well-being. We'll be sure to pass along your kind comments to the team!

The staff were fantastic as always. The entertainment exceptional.
As family of a resident it's so reassuring and pleasing to see the efforts and care of all the staff towards our mum..
we as a family could not be happier with the home as a whole and all the entertainment they arranged involving family is so heartwarming.

My auntie has been here approximately 2 1/2 years. I've never had any problems that haven't been resolved. She couldn't be in a better place. Lovely staff and management.
We are happy to hear that your auntie is feeling healthy and happy in our care. It means the world to the team to know that they are making a difference to our residents. Thank you for trusting us with the care of your loved one. Your kind words are very appreciated!
My brother in law and sister were both in White Rose at the same time. The staff were attentive and caring and their patience was outstanding. They gave comfort and care to my relatives and were understanding and informative to all family members as we tried to support my relatives.
I am not just talking about the care staff who were skilled and understanding but the housekeeping staff, the kitchen staff and the finance office gave us exactly the help that we needed. A number of the carers were highly qualified in their country of origin with qualifications that were not yet recognised in UK. We had all the benefits of their knowledge and experience.
The family are greatly appreciative of your support at this most difficult time for us.
Thank you for your heartwarming review. We're so glad that your sister and brother-in-law are happy in our care! It's lovely to know that the whole team is appreciated and making this difficult time a little easier for you. Thank you for trusting us with the care of your loved ones; we are always here to support you and your family.
Very happy with the carehome. Very difficult decision when placing your loved one into a home, but it is reassuring when you walk in and our relative looks content & well cared for. The home is very clean. Good home cooked food but most important the staff are very attentive from the cleaners/laundry staff carers up to the Manager. Everyone is always willing to help. They interact with residents & family & are always reassuring & put a smile on their faces. I would recommend White Rose as a safe happy home.
Thank you so much for your kind review. We are so glad that your relative is happy and well cared for at our home. We take pride in creating a home that values our residents and their families, so it's great to hear that you've experienced this first-hand. We really appreciate your recommendation and will be sure to pass along your kind words to the whole team!
All the staff are attentive (as you would expect) and have developed a trusting relationship with Mum, which she clearly enjoys.
Always exceptionally clean and fresh environment, recent decorative enhancements have helped by adding colourful visual stimulation, a benefit for helping with dementia issues.
We are happy to hear that your mother is feeling healthy and happy in our care. It means the world to the team to know that they are making a difference to our residents. We are privileged to be trusted with the care of your loved one, and your kind words are very appreciated.
Day staff are friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. If the review was based only on the day team it would be a 5 star review. Always very accommodating to visitors. Some members of the night team are less accommodating which is a shame. Overall this home is very good and I would recommend
Thank you for a lovely review! We're over the moon that your friend is happy in our care. Our staff will always welcome visitors with the same care as our residents, so we're glad you have experienced this first-hand! We regret to hear that you have found some of our night staff to be less accommodating. We will investigate this immediately.
Ideal for people who can still walk as they can even go pass each other with a Zimmer frame.
Thank you for such a wonderful review. We are so happy that your friend is happy in our care. Our team always strives to accommodate visitors with the same care as our residents, so we're so glad you've had a positive visiting experience. Your kind words are very appreciated.
We spoke to the manager and explained how desperate were to move our beautiful mum from 1 care home to the White Rose. Her basic needs were not been met, mumbled Alzheimer's and manager listened to us, went to asses mum and within 2 days mum had a room near the nursing desk with a beautiful, comfy bed. All staff were friendly and would welcome us all into spend time with mum. Mum was treated with dignity and respect. They supported us all through mum's last journey in life. Everyone had the skills and understanding of dementia. We cant thank you enough.
Excellent care provided by catering staff.
My aunt has advanced Alzheimer's and unfortunately doesn't know me really any more. She moved from a care home in Lepton when it closed over a year ago and I am very pleased with her care. The home is clean and well-presented, the staff are caring, helpful and friendly. Although she cannot participate in much, she enjoys some of the activities and apparently 'Elvis' is a great hit with her! Thank you for her continuing care.
