View Full Details of Barchester Castle Park Care HomeI have been visiting Castle park for several years now and the support for my husband has been excellent. The staff always make me feel welcome and there is a homely feel. The staff are very hard working, professional, caring and most of all fun. There is always activities such as celebrating sporting events, Pride, DDay and lots more. Also lots of quizzes, baking and crafts. My husband is always smiling and this is due to the staff and their care.
My daughter is a long term resident who has enjoyed excellent care to meet her challenging needs over a number of years. She is treated with respect and enjoys interacting with the care team whenever possible. This year has seen a downturn in her condition making communication difficult for her, but the team has adapted quickly to this new norm. Overall, I have been impressed by the level of care provided, my daughter feels safe and happy here and I have peace of mind knowing that she is being looked after by the best care team in the local area
Im satified of the care that my son gets at Castle Park lovely atmosphere, staff are very good and caring to all. Entertainment + Activities are great. Nothing is ever too much trouble.
Castle Park is really nice place all staff look after my nephew well.
It has taken time for him to settle. His mental capacity has been respected therefore we feel has has not always taken advice . We hope that his medication review will help with pain reduction and he will attempt to do more for himself.

I have been very impressed with the level of care my son has received at Castle Park, initially as a respite user and now as a permanent resident. He has a complex condition and struggles with communication but every effort is made to engage him in activities and to make him feel safe. He is very happy there.
The service provided by Castle Park in looking after my son has been of the highest standard. Communication between Care Home and family has been regular and informative and it is clear that a wide range of activities are arranged for the residents. Specific requests are dealt with speedily and through regular contact with the Care staff it is clear tat the Home has a caring ethos. Facilities at the Home have recently been improved through a capital expenditure programme which should enhance the day to day life of the residents. From occasional personal observations meals appear to be varied and nutritious with Carers often doing personal shopping for the residents.
My friendmcontinues to receive excellent care from all of the staff. My friend is a long-term resident (over 30 years now) and soon lets me know if standards have dropped in any aspect of his care.
The overall care for my wife really reassures me, I struggled not visiting, but, after a very short space of time, identified that the staff,REALLY DO CARE, about everyone. I don't gave a bad word to say about anyone or anything I have witnessed, seeing a smile on my wifes face, tells me everything I need to know. Keep up the great work. Everyone. From management, nursing, carers, hospitality,I thank you all.
Very nice home , settled in well after being discharged from hospital over a year ago. The staff are very down to earth and fun with all the staff and residents. Staff meet all my needs. If any issues arise they are sorted straight away which is good. It's a very pleasant home and a very welcoming
The team are all very friendly and welcoming. They take good care of my brother. They all seem to understand his "sense of humour". He seems happy as he can be given the circumstances and there are always lots of activities to keep him occupied.
Very happy with the care and dignity given to my friend. She seems happy and well cared for in the home. Staff are very friendly and always willing to help when I visit.
We are, as always, very pleased with the quality and professionalism of the care received. The management and staff go above and beyond to treat my wife with dignity and care.
Excellent attention at all times. Wonderful staff, nothing is too much trouble.
My son receives all the care and attention he needs with the greatest respect and love. I cannot praise the staff enough, it gives me security and confidence in everything they do.
Everyone at Castle Park Care Home can never do enough for my sister. Girls are so polite and friendly, always have a smile on my face knowing my sister is well looked after so I don't have to worry.
My brother lived in Barchester Castle Park Care Home for twenty-one years and was cared for very well by all the staff. I wanted to pay particular attention to how the last three months of his life were, he was cared for in an excellent manner and loved by the staff. I would not have wanted him anywhere else and I will always be eternally grateful.
Our son had an assessment for a new electric wheelchair, the staff tried for over 3/4 hours to get a wheelchair taxi for 8:15am, none available, it was their turn for the "home's" minibus a licenced driver was on shift, the management offered to take him as apps are hard to get, and would be a long time for another app, so grateful - gone that extra mile, thank you so much.
My brother had an important appointment this morning and there were no wheelchairs/taxis available, but they have a bus that they use for outings, and one of the ladies made herself available to take my brother and our parents to the appointment. We really appreciate it and all that you do for him. Thank you very much.
