My father Bernard has dementia and I moved him to Woodlands in 2022. He took a little while to settle but is now totally settled at the home. The staff were very good at making that transition to the home. I regularly visit my father to take him out for a while from the home. I have therefore, come
to know a number of the staff. I find that they are very understanding of his needs. An example of this was when I last visited. He need to change his trousers. Although he doesn't like fuse one of the staff skilfully persuaded him to change the trousers. Every member of staff including maintenance staff always welcome him with a 'Hi Bernard' and are very friendly.
The few issues I have encountered have been overcome very well by the managers of the home. Indeed I have had to ask for medical reports to allow me to complete my annual Court of Protection report. The managers have always competed this with expertise.
I would recommend the home to other users.
