My husband has been in the care of Westwood Lodge staff since 2013. He has been well looked after during this time.
In March this year he became very frail and a member of staff phoned to let me know he was close to end of life care.
I went to be with him and stayed with him and the staff kept
vigil all night by seeing to my husbands care needs and also looking after me too.
I cannot thank the staff enoogh for the care and compassion they have shown us both over the years.

I love living here. I like the staff, and I like the food. I like the staff when they take me out shopping. The staff are very kind and I want to stay here forever. I like the other people, and when we have music and dancing in the lounge. My room is lovely and the staff help me clean it

My husband has resided at Westwood Lodge for 5 years now.
He has always received good care, he is now getting great care.
He now has a TV and radio in his room which he didn't have. He is having hair cuts regularly and his mood and appearance is a lot better. The staff have improved, the home
has improved and the general feels of the home is better.
Thanks to the new manager and l hope it continues.

My brother has been a resident at Westwood Lodge for a couple of years. Since the new manager has taken over I have noticed the improvement. The staff are caring and considerate. My brother is well cared for and happy. I have noticed a difference in staff attitude and response to requests. The
manager has always been very receptive to input and communication has improved greatly. I feel that the manager is now focused on quality care and this is reassuring after the last 18 months

I love the care I get. Staff are very understanding to me, especially the manager who is great and I can talk to him in private.

Any concerns I have had regarding his health have received immediate attention and the
staff are friendly and helpful at all times.

My brother was a resident in Westwood lodge until October 2016 until he, unfortunately, he passed away.
I could not fault the care he received from staff on the unit.
They kept us up to date with all his care and his needs.and when he had to go into hospital on more than 1 occasion they were very
supportive to us as a family.
The manager was lovely to us from the start and always made time to chat with us if need be.
There was 1 staff member in particular that my brother really liked, she always made time to come and chat with him and made sure he was comfortable.
Always offered coffee as soon as we went in.
Brilliant care.
