View Full Details of Prince's CourtI am delighted about how Dad has settled into Prince's Court. I have been impressed at the care that Dad receives from the staff and how well they have got to know him and his needs. The whole team are always welcoming to me and my family, as well as our dog Hattie. Nothing has been too much trouble to arrange. I am particularly over the moon that Prince's Court have facilitated my Dad being able to see my Mum who is in another care home each week. They realised that seeing Mum is vital for his wellbeing and prioritised this. Today I was able to book out a room to bring my mum's cousin and my mum to visit Dad. This was the first time the three of them had been together in years. I know that Dad is safe and well cared for and this means so much. Thank you.
Princes Court provided a friendly, caring and professional home for our dear friend. He required nursing care and was treat with dignity and respect throughout his time there. He was provided with a nice clean room with private facilities with appropriate safety measures in place. Princes Court is a bright and airy building with spacious corridors and handrails on either side, communal day rooms and gardens for residents and family to enjoy. Residents are encouraged to take part in their activities programme bringing them together. The meals are extremely good - all home cooked food - varied menus and enjoyed very much by our friend. Our admiration and thanks go to all the staff in Princes Court from management to nurses, to all caring staff, the catering team and cleaners, all of whom do an amazing job. In our opinion we would have no reservations about choosing this Care Home for your loved one. Well done to Princes Court
Mum was very well looked after by the whole team of carers, nurses, physios, and catering staff. The whole stay was very positive and cheerful, and this helped her to recover quickly.
We were reluctant to place our mum in a care home, but due to progressing dementia, we had no option. A room was available at Prince's Court. She receives excellent care and settled quickly. Our mum appears to be content here. The manager is lovely and the staff are great. Our mum is treated with care and dignity. I can't praise the staff and manager enough. I would definitely recommend Prince's Court to others. Thank you for caring for our mum.
Happy with the service. The staff were supportive and helpful.
I was admitted to Royal Quay's intermediate care unit following a fall resulting in a broken leg and muscle deconditioning. From arriving on the unit to being discharged, the service of care of all the team has been excellent. The physio team are brilliant and take such care and consideration of everyone they support on their way to recovery. The unit itself has a lovely, friendly feel to it and the carers make everyone feel at ease and relaxed. I can't praise the staff enough for all of the help I received during my time there.
Since entering the rehabilitation centre, 4 weeks ago, I have found the service given to be outstanding. The food was wonderful; plenty of variety and always hot. Every member of staff was friendly and polite and above all ready to give help whenever needed. I must admit to being very emotional when saying goodbye to staff.
I cannot speak highly enough about the support and care my Dad is getting in the intermediate rehab area. All teams - nursing, support, physio, OT, admin - are professional, knowledgeable, respectful, responsive, engaging and cheerful. He is so encouraged and motivated to get better, and the quality, variety and frequency of his food has him eating and building up his strength better than ever. We're so grateful. Thank you!
Nice friendly unit. Great staff. Good physio dept. Very helpful. All in all, 5 stars!!
Staff very pleasant and caring. Patients could do with being showered alternate days.
My relative has always praised the staff at the home, she was very happy with her care and the only reason she left was because she wanted to try again at home. We have as a family always found the staff to be very helpful and polite. We wish to thank you all for her excellent care.
Dad has been living in this home for the last 4 years, over this time I believe he was well taken care of. Staff were all very friendly and took the time to speak to dad every time they passed him. There may have been a couple of small issues during his stay but these were always dealt with promptly. Any worries I had about the home were quickly discounted when I saw the big smile on his face when staff came into the room.
Dad got settled in on Christmas Eve after a rushed search for respite. Prince's Court was by far the best we had on offer and very competitive. The staff are lovely, the managers are very professional and approachable and listen to concerns. Dad is well cared for and safe. Those were our biggest concerns.
Mum spent only 6 weeks in Prince's Court but the care and respect that was given was exemplary. I noticed even when staff were helping other residents they just took so much time to help and listen to everyone. Mum was so glad to be cared for and felt comfortable in her room. I've never experienced care like it and can only say to everyone, managers, carers, nurses, admin, and cleaners; well-done everyone. They all greeted you with a smile and nothing was a trouble to them. Sadly Mum died and throughout the whole process, we were treated with dignity and respect. Thanks again to everyone concerned.
Despite being kept very busy, staff were always cheerful, pleasant and helpful. The family member's room was clean and with every necessary comfort, bathroom clean and roomy, basin rather small. Staff gave willingly of their time to discuss the welfare of my relative. Liaison with care home and surgery before discharge was very efficient.
My husband has now been in Prince's Court since July, I cannot thank them enough. My lovely husband has had care second to none every single one of the staff are so caring and loving, not only to him but to me also. The food and cleanliness of the home is spotless. The food is great. I go home knowing that I'm leaving my husband in good and caring hands.
I needed information to complete a lengthy application form for my stepmother's attendance allowance. The staff at Prince's Court were really helpful despite the demands made on their time. Their care for my stepmother has also been first-rate. I am very grateful.
My dad arrived at Princes Court directly from the hospital in April. He has complex and nursing needs and it was difficult to find a suitable home for him. Thankfully I was able to find him a place here and since his admission, I have been thoroughly impressed by the staff throughout the home. All are friendly, and approachable and have made my dad feel so welcome, even when he is displaying aggressive behaviour. From the care home manager all the way to the staff on the ground you have been all magnificent. It hasn't been an easy time settling in but the staff have worked wonders and they really care about him. I feel so lucky relieved and happy that I know I can leave him in a place where he is truly cared for.
The staff have been amazing here since my nana's admission, they have shown nothing but care and attention for her. The staff are always so kind and welcoming when you arrive. As a family, we can't praise the staff enough for how much they have done to help my nana settle in so quickly and feel so welcome. The management is so approachable with any concerns and queries we have had. Thank you to all the staff, especially Albert Unit, for the care and support you show both to Nana and our family!
Our Mum was sent to Prince's Court directly from the hospital for end-of-life care. I wouldn't recommend anybody using this home for end-of-life care. They appear to lack the skills and staff to provide adequate end-of-life care our Mum frequently complained about being left on her own for hours without anybody popping in. Our Mum was fully competent and able to assess situations. As she was deteriorating she developed terminal agitation. I recognised this as I have a Care Manager background and have experienced it. Despite many requests for the staff to use the end-of-life medication prescribed the staff failed to do so. Our Mum suffered unnecessarily and as a result, we have PTSD despite the fact I have sat through many deaths including my Dads. We had many excuses for not giving the medication including well she's not doing it to us we can only use it when she does it to us. The staff didn't carry out appropriate mouth care on the day our Mum passed there were only 2 mouth swabs used.
