We'd never heard of Riverwell Beck - where, what, how etc. What was my wife being sent to for what turned out to be her final weeks. We quickly found out - from the first welcome before she got here, to the superb care she received. The facilities there and the very friendly and helpful staff.
Thank you all the staff who made her last days so good as they could have been , both for her and for the family.

Mum was not feeling to well so the nursing staff got urgent primary care who were not concerned but the next day mum became unresponsive and we all feared the worst. The Dr came again and subscribed antibiotics and by the end of the night she was much improved and a few days later she was recovered.
While I was sitting with mum all the care/nursing staff kept popping in talking to mum holding her hand and also consoling me,provided me with an evening meal and countless cups of tea.I was so greatfull for their kindness and support.

My Dad stayed for a week at Riverwell Beck for respite. He was very well looked after and the staff were all very caring and attentive. The room was lovely and very clean. Thank you all for your care.

You're staff at the Care Home are all very polite helpful and professional every time we go in we always get a happy smiling welcome brilliant.
The care home is very clean and always tidy can't ask for any better.

What a lovely home my mum has been a resident in 3 homes, this is by far the best. Staff are professional, well presented, have a good rapport with mum and the family. Riverwell epitomises what a good care home should be! Well done!

As soon as we walked into Riverwell we were impressed, initially with the surroundings - but mostly with the people - everyone spoke to us and made sure we were taken care of. Mum was not able to live by herself after Dad died and a difficult time has been helped through the care she receives here.
The staff are all excellent and we always feel welcome when we come to see her.

Out mother came into Riverwell Beck in May 2025 after living at home with us. She was very poorly. The staff at Riverwell Beck have provided impeccable care throughout. They are kind, considerate, patient, professional and they treat our mother with respect and dignity at all times. They meet all of
her needs and go over and beyond trying to help her remain happy. We do not need to worry about her needs being met both socially and medically. We are eternally grateful to Riverwell Beck staff and would recommend this provider 100%.

All staff and management, do an excellent job of looking after my mum. I feel comfortable leaving her in their hands. It's like one big, welcoming family. Any requests or concerns are addressed promptly. Staff are always ready to listen.

My wife is in the home for end-of-life care. It is obviously a disturbing situation for me and her 2 sisters who visit regularly. Every time I come, I am always amazed at how well the staff look after my wife. I had looked after at home for 5 or 6 years and it really is soul-destroying when we have
been together for 55 years.
I can come at any time and stay as long as I like. The home is run to do everything possible for relatives and I can only say thank you so much for doing everything at what is almost certainly the worst time of my life.

Dad was diagnosed with dementia last year and, after a difficult time resulting in a lengthy hospital stay, it was determined that he could no longer live independently. This was a huge shock to him and he found it very difficult to accept. We wanted to find a care home that would meet his needs in
the early as well as the later stages of this horrible disease and were very pleased to learn that Riverwell Beck had a vacancy on their memory floor. From our first visit to view, to dad's arrival and first days and weeks, every single person at the home was so welcoming, kind and caring. From his initial refusal to accept that he needed to be 'locked in' and repeated requests to be allowed to leave, their patience and understanding has resulted in him being a happy, active and involved resident. He's put on weight, enjoys trips out and happily participates in the regular activities. He's full of praise for all of the staff and we're reassured knowing that he's safe and so well cared for.

The staff are all absolutely superb, welcoming, friendly, efficient. Most importantly they have made my mother feel she is in the right place.
Any worries we had were very quickly erased.
Nothing is too much trouble. Add to that, the facility offers opportunities for mother to feel included.

Riverwell Beck is a modern care home facility which is welcoming & bright. The staff are polite & cheerful & show kindness towards mum. She settled in straight away & we know she is well cared for which gives us peace of mind.

I cannot speak highly enough of Riverwell Beck. The overwhelming positive is the staff who have looked after mum so well and treat her with dignity and respect. They are so friendly and mum loves them all (she calls them 'the girls'). It's the little things that I notice such as getting her a pair
of slip on shoes when she was struggling with trainers and making sure she is always well presented and dressed. They really look after her and I am so grateful for their kindness and diligence.

Riverwell beck care home is lovely the staff go that extra mile with residents, very well organised. Laundry very good always wearing their own clothes,the activities they do are brilliant, admin and office staff again very good.its also very clean so everyone is doing a good job.

From coming into the care home my husband has settled really well, staff are very friendly. They provide excellent care and support. He enjoys the activities, taking part in things he enjoys. The food is excellent. Staff treat my husband with dignity and respect and enjoy his sense of humour. Clean
and tidy. This was a difficult decision to make as we had not been apart for 61 years but I am grateful to all the staff for the excellent care they provide.

Unfortunately my father-in-law was unable to continue looking after himself in his own home. We visited Riverwell Beck and knew instantly that it would be suitable for him. As with some elderly people, he was reluctant to leave his own home. However, after several weeks at Riverwell Beck he is
settling in very well and has said he likes it there and that he gets very well looked after. Which is reassuring for his family. He is treated in a caring and respectful manner by all. The staff are efficient, caring and respectful. I would certainly recommend Riverwell Beck.

Grandma has been a resident now for 2 years and I have only good things to say for the care team at Riverwell Beck. Grandma isn't the easiest of patients but the staff always treat her with respect and kindness. Nothing is too much trouble and the communication between staff and the family is
always very good.

Mam has been in the Care Home now for over two years and during that time has received the best care and compassion from all the staff, she has always told me that she likes it there and she enjoys getting involved with the activities. I would recommend the Home to families who are looking for care
for relatives.
