View Full Details of Hollow Oak Nursing HomeFrom my very first visit to look around I felt a sense of calm and professionalism. The home was spotless and smelt fresh. The rooms were bright with large windows. The garden was accessible and thoughtfully planted. My dad has now moved in, and settling in well. The staff are so friendly and welcoming to my dad aswell as me. It's like a hidden gem.
My mother, who suffers with dementia, has been a resident since April this year and I can honestly say I'm delighted with her care. The care and attention shown to her has been absolutely marvellous. The staff are wonderful and have helped Mum settle in so well. She especially likes the food which is always freshly cooked and looks delicious. She also enjoys walks around the lovely gardens. I'm so pleased we found this lovely nursing home, which is tucked away, just off the A590. It's definitely a hidden gem!
I came one week ago for respite following a road accident and after a few weeks in hospital not knowing what to expect. All the staff are very friendly and help with everything I need or leave me to recover at my own pace. I met visiting hairdresser yesterday and her hairdo made me feel like a new woman. Meals are delicious, healthy and plentiful, currently mine are served in my room. I have a wonderful view over gardens, hills and a farm and I can entertain visitors at any time. I look forward to the remainder of my visit.
I've visited very many nursing homes for work and when visiting friends or family. Without a doubt, Hollow Oak Nursing Home has provided the best experience. Every staff member has been kind and cheerful, responding and adapting appropriately to meet all needs, help with appointments and keeping us informed. Can confidently trust in the care they are providing. Thank you Hollow Oak.
When I found that I could no longer meet my husband’s needs, I rang Hollow Oak, with a view to arranging respite care. The manager came out, and having seen the situation, arranged for my husband to become a resident that same day. He’s being very well cared for, and after four days, is showing significant improvement in his health. I am so pleased that I made that phone call.
