Since my family member has moved into the home, the experience for my whole family has been very positive, the staff such kindness and care to everyone, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the manager has been very supportive and put our minds at rest to this new move in a care home setting.

My mam is a full-time resident of this home. She arrived in May 2025. Before that, she was cared for by the family but sadly we could no longer cope. She is cared for with kindness and compassion and is very settled and content.

After 7 years of looking after my Mam at home, who suffers from dementia, I was in crisis. The Social Worker agreed on permanent residential care for Mam and I was lucky enough to find Aycliffe Care Home- What a fantastic Care Home it is! It is well managed, spotlessly clean, the Staff are efficient, friendly, caring, kind, and they have embraced my Mam and her needs. Mam is always well presented; she is happy and content with her new 'family'. I cannot praise Aycliffe Care Home enough. Aycliffe Care Home have gone above and beyond my expectations. A Five Star Care Provider -Thank You.

Lovely care home with very caring staff. Regular use of agency staff does not seem to affect service delivery. Cleanliness is good, no awful smells (always a bonus). The only negative comment is around communication between management and me (as next of kin) but hopefully, this will improve when the recently departed manager is replaced. Overall, very satisfied with my mother's care.

My dad went into the care home for end-of-life care in December and was there for a fortnight before he died. The staff were absolutely wonderful from start to finish and went the extra mile! I have nothing but praise for them. They implemented the Namaste plan we had developed to ensure my dad had familiar and comforting sensations and cared for us as a family with compassion. Thank you.

All my family and I are extremely happy with the care my mother has received since arriving at the home in October 2023. We know she is being very well looked after and is safe. All staff at the home are friendly and genuinely care for her.

A lovely, very friendly warm atmosphere in the care home. The staff are always very helpful and always have a smile on their faces. Lots of activities going on, always clean and tidy. I know my mum gets really well looked after at all times.

I cannot put into words the high level of care and professionalism coupled with empathy the care home has shown my father. His whole menina has improved alongside his well-being. This is down to the staff and facilities. Thank you for all you do; it is very much appreciated.

The staff, on a whole, are exceptional there are 1 or 2 who aren't generally as good. The exceptional staff give the home a family feel. They genuinely care. The only times that they are let down is when there is short staffing, possibly holidays or staff sickness issues. Then you can see the staff getting stretched and stressed. I sometimes feel the meals could be a little better, they sometimes don't look the most appetising so we often bring fresh food in to supplement.

Great experience dealing with all staff here, my mother in law was cared for here and now my own mum. Such a friendly welcoming from all staff and the care is second to none.

Mum, me and the rest of the family describe the experience at Aycliffe Care Home as "superb". We could not ask for better care for Mum. Every member of staff is pleasant and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The whole of the atmosphere is happy and relaxed.

This care home is so welcoming and friendly. The staff are caring and very approachable. There isn't one member of staff who isn't understanding. Whilst the care home might not be posh, it is spotlessly clean and homely. The food looks very good and plenty of variety.

Aycliffe Court is a lovely care home. All the staff are so friendly and always ready to help. There is quite a diverse range of activities available to get the residents out and about as well as those based at the care home itself.

The care provided at Aycliffe Care Home is fantastic. The staff are very friendly and treat the residents with great care and respect. My mother has been here for the past few weeks and is very happy with all of the staff who are patient and kind. There are a lot of activities for mental health stimulation. The food is excellent also.

The care home provides excellent care and facilities for my grandmother and other residents and provides brilliant social events and activities. The staff are superb and brilliant and engage with visitors and residents. I am extremely lucky and grateful for my nan's care.

I have found the home very good both in care of residents and visitors. The atmosphere is homely and welcoming, a real home-from-home. My mother-in-law was treated as a real person and despite having dementia was put at ease at all times. I would recommend Aycliffe Care Home to all.

My mum came here from another care home needing very much care. She came in February 2022, and I am so happy with the care and attention all the staff give to Mum, from carers, nurses, management and the boss! It helps my well-being knowing Mum's well-being is being taken care of 100%.
