My mam has been a resident in Aycliffe Care Home for over 3 years and from day one has always been treat with dignity and respect by all staff from all departments, she receives excellent care sometimes under very difficult circumstances she is always happy when I visit and enjoys all the activities going on , the home is always clean and tidy, if I do have any concerns it is always dealt with promptly, I have peace of mind knowing my mam is getting excellent care from excellent staff doing a fantastic job .

My mother has been looked after for the last couple of years in the home and is safe and settled in her surroundings. . She has great interaction with all her carers and the staff at the home . All carers , staff and management are very approachable . I am impressed with the fact that if any medical issues arise with her , they are acted on , and direct contact is made with her GP surgery .
Thank you for your wonderful review and lovely feedback, this will be shared with all our team.
Aycliffe Care Home provides a warm, caring environment for my mother, who has dementia. Any issues are dealt with immediately when brought to the staff's attention. My mother says that she feels safe, which is all the validation that this home needs. I cannot praise the staff enough. I am so grateful that she is well cared for.
Thank you for your lovely review, your positive feedback and kind words will be passed to all our Aycliffe team
I have no concerns at all about the level of care provided by the staff and the home in general. The staff are all very friendly, and they react to concerns quickly and with dignity. I am so happy that Mum is settled and is happy. I pop in a few times a week at all different times and have never had any concerns. Management is always on hand, and the home is very well managed.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, your kind words will be passed to all our Aycliffe team.
Excellent care home facilities are good, staff are excellent friendly and welcoming, high standard of care. Great activities for residents to take part in.
Mam is happy in care home, all staff from domestic to management treat her with dignity and respect. Mam is safe, comfortable and warm, that is the most important. Had a few teething problems at first but were resolved.
Thank you for your lovely review, we are happy we could resolve any initial concerns and will pass your positive feedback and scores to all our Aycliffe team.
My Mam came to the home in July 2025 after suffering a stroke which has left her with very little movement on her left side and days of confusion with her short term memory. I was so worried and anxious about finding the right home for her to start her recovery journey but I can definitely say now that I couldn't have chosen a better home to look after her. From day one the staff were welcoming, approachable and so caring. You can tell immediately that they are passionate about their work and providing the best care. She has a lovely room, its always immaculate and clean. Her meals are always amazing, plenty of choice too. We can visit anytime we like and even take our dogs to visit her. My Mam couldn't be in better hands and she has built such strong bonds with the staff. I honestly couldn't be happier with the care being given to my Mam. It has been such a relief to not have to constantly worry about her welfare and wellbeing. I'm so grateful to all the staff, thank you!!
Thank you for such a lovely review, your feedback will be passed to all of our deserving Aycliffe team.
Since my family member has moved into the home, the experience for my whole family has been very positive, the staff such kindness and care to everyone, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the manager has been very supportive and put our minds at rest to this new move in a care home setting.
Thank you for your fantastic review of Aycliffe, your kind, positive feedback will be shared with all our team.
Before that, she was cared for by the family but sadly we could no longer cope.
She is cared for with kindness and compassion and is very settled and content.
It is well managed, spotlessly clean, the Staff are efficient, friendly, caring, kind, and they have embraced my Mam and her needs. Mam is always well presented; she is happy and content with her new 'family'. I cannot praise Aycliffe Care Home enough. Aycliffe Care Home have gone above and beyond my expectations.
A Five Star Care Provider -Thank You.
Lovely care home with very caring staff. Regular use of agency staff does not seem to affect service delivery. Cleanliness is good, no awful smells (always a bonus). The only negative comment is around communication between management and me (as next of kin) but hopefully, this will improve when the recently departed manager is replaced. Overall, very satisfied with my mother's care.
My dad went into the care home for end-of-life care in December and was there for a fortnight before he died. The staff were absolutely wonderful from start to finish and went the extra mile! I have nothing but praise for them. They implemented the Namaste plan we had developed to ensure my dad had familiar and comforting sensations and cared for us as a family with compassion. Thank you.
Thank you for your lovely review, your kind words and praise at this sad time will be passed to all our team.
Fantastic management and staff, kind and caring.
Thank you for your lovely review, your wonderful feedback will be passed to our team.
His whole menina has improved alongside his well-being. This is down to the staff and facilities.
Thank you for all you do; it is very much appreciated.
Thank you for your wonderful 5-star review; your fantastic feedback will be shared with all our Aycliffe team.
The only times that they are let down is when there is short staffing, possibly holidays or staff sickness issues. Then you can see the staff getting stretched and stressed.
I sometimes feel the meals could be a little better, they sometimes don't look the most appetising so we often bring fresh food in to supplement.
Such a friendly welcoming from all staff and the care is second to none.
Thank you for you kind words and support - we are very honoured to look after your family members.
Mum, me and the rest of the family describe the experience at Aycliffe Care Home as "superb". We could not ask for better care for Mum. Every member of staff is pleasant and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The whole of the atmosphere is happy and relaxed.
Thank you for your lovely review and 5-star rating of Aycliffe, your wonderful words will be passed to the team.
This care home is so welcoming and friendly. The staff are caring and very approachable. There isn't one member of staff who isn't understanding. Whilst the care home might not be posh, it is spotlessly clean and homely. The food looks very good and plenty of variety.
Thank you for your lovely review and comments, your fantastic comments will be passed to our Aycliffe team.
Aycliffe Court is a lovely care home. All the staff are so friendly and always ready to help. There is quite a diverse range of activities available to get the residents out and about as well as those based at the care home itself.
Thank you for your lovely review, your fantastic feedback will be passed to the team.
