Prince's Court

from Suzanne T (Daughter of Resident) published on 31 October 2025
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
I am delighted about how Dad has settled into Prince's Court. I have been impressed at the care that Dad receives from the staff and how well they have got to know him and his needs. The whole team are always welcoming to me and my family, as well as our dog Hattie. Nothing has been too much trouble
to arrange. I am particularly over the moon that Prince's Court have facilitated my Dad being able to see my Mum who is in another care home each week. They realised that seeing Mum is vital for his wellbeing and prioritised this. Today I was able to book out a room to bring my mum's cousin and my mum to visit Dad. This was the first time the three of them had been together in years.
I know that Dad is safe and well cared for and this means so much. Thank you.

My mother came into Lindsay House for two weeks after a recent fall to convalesce. Her room over looked the church and field she took pictures to make it homely for the duration of her stay. Food was freshly prepared on site and was of a high standard. All the staff were professional, polite, helpful

Prince's Court

from Robert G (Power of Attorney of Resident) published on 24 October 2025

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Princes Court provided a friendly, caring and professional home for our dear friend. He required nursing care and was treat with dignity and respect throughout his time there. He was provided with a nice clean room with private facilities with appropriate safety measures in place.

Princes Court is

a bright and airy building with spacious corridors and handrails on either side, communal day rooms and gardens for residents and family to enjoy. Residents are encouraged to take part in their activities programme bringing them together. The meals are extremely good - all home cooked food - varied menus and enjoyed very much by our friend.

Our admiration and thanks go to all the staff in Princes Court from management to nurses, to all caring staff, the catering team and cleaners, all of whom do an amazing job.

In our opinion we would have no reservations about choosing this Care Home for your loved one.

Well done to Princes Court

Wonderful place. Staff were very kind to my father during his stay. They took time to help him understand what was happening, managing to use their experience to keep him comfortable. They achieved more during his short stay as a very poorly person, than I had expected.
Would definitely recommend for
dementia patients who has difficult needs.

My 94 year old father was admitted to Hilltop Lodge following a deterioration in his general health and mobility. From the moment he went through the door he and the rest of our family were made so welcome by every member of staff we met on the way to his lovely room.
All the staff were kind and caring
and a special shout out to Ralph who was kind enough to assist my Dad to have a short time in the garden enjoying the sunshine with his family.
The nurses Tracey, Diane and Gloria all went above and beyond to make sure my Dad was kept comfortable until he passed away peacefully and for that we will always be so grateful.

My dad had a room on the nursing floor for 5 months where he then passed away expectedly (with terminal cancer).

The staff all tried very hard to get to know dad - who needed a lot of attention. They were all friendly, professional and considerate throughout. We spent a lot of time at Wordsworth house

so got to know a lot of them.

They were especially good in dads final days and made them as comfortable as possible for dad and for us, we will always appreciate that.

I would not hesitate to recommend Wordsworth house.

Mum was treated very well in the care home. The staff were fantastic with her and we were kept up to date with ongoing care for her. She could be very difficult at times, all staff, and management understood what made her 'tick' and managed her accordingly so that mum still felt valued and treated with
respect.

Dad came to Lindsay House in July 24. Having lost mum he was struggling to live by himself. It's taken hima while to settle down as it was such a big change for him but the staff have been absolutely brilliant and he's now very happy and smiling again. He now really enjoys living here and loves all
the staff especially Ailish the activity coordinator who has got him interested in doing art and colouring therapy books its made a massive difference to his wellbeing.

Cartref y Borth Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Cartref y Borth is a professionaly run home with very attentive and caring staff. It is spotlessly clean and the day rooms are warm, comfortable and have pleasant views of the gardens and trees overlooking the river. My mother seems very happy here and enjoys her meals, and I am often contacted by
staff members informing me of any changes to her health or medication.

I'm aware that there is a weekly timetable of activities for the residents and that local schoolchildren will also come to sing to them on occasion. The home is situated in a tranquil setting yet just a five minute walk away from the town square.

There are care homes closer to the family, but I doubt that they would be as pleasant and comfortable as Cartref y Borth.

We were reluctant to place our mum in a care home, but due to progressing dementia, we had no option. A room was available at Prince's Court. She receives excellent care and settled quickly. Our mum appears to be content here. The manager is lovely and the staff are great. Our mum is treated with care
and dignity. I can't praise the staff and manager enough. I would definitely recommend Prince's Court to others. Thank you for caring for our mum.

My husband has only been in Canterbury House for a short while. We can see a big change in him (for the better). He is happy there. He is always clean & tidy which is important to both him and us. The home is bright & clean. You can feel the care when you visit. Staff are amazing! So happy that we got
him a place here! 10/10 to all.
