My mam came to Moorfield House in March 2025, and I can honestly say she was welcomed with open arms. Most of the staff are brilliant, and mom can see that they take pride in caring for residents and also the manager who is amazing. Myself and my sister always feel very welcome when we come to visit
mam. I would recommend anyone looking for care for their mother, father etc to check out Moorfield House, it's a home with a heart!

As a family we believe Scott the new manager will do amazing. The home itself has fabulous staff but needs a deep clean & painted from top to bottom. Both of which I've addressed, been told will be done ASAP. It's great to see everyone happy, residents & staff. It wasn't for a little while, as a family
we see the changes coming. This settles us too. Treasure the fabulous staff.

I can highly recommend St. Peters Court. It is a very caring professional environment my mother resided there for two years and I couldn't ask for better care. The rooms are always clean, the staff are outstanding! There are daily activities which the residents are gently encouraged to participate in.
My mother passed away on the 4th October 2025 and the staff were very supportive towards me and my family. My mum was treated with care and dignity. Thank you St. Peters Court. Thank you to the manager Danielle, deputy Sophie and all staff.

Highly satisfied with the service by staff and management alike, the home is in an ideal location to visit by either car being near the M1 motorway or serviced by a regular bus service locally, a very clean and tidy environment, all staff wonderfully obliging who will go the extra mile to help. Cant

Hilltop Lodge

My mum has Alzheimer's, in June she had to move care homes due to an increase in her needs. Hilltop Lodge is the home we chose for her.
At the beginning of October my mum began to refuse food and drink, this is a regular pattern and as a result becomes unwell quickly with an infection. We ( the family)
have seen this many times now and have informed Hilltop of this pattern. On this particular occasion she became seriously ill very quickly. The staff all acted in my mums best interest. They were kind and attentive to both my mum ensuring she was comfortable and constantly checking on her for further signs of deterioration. Thankfully the Dr prescribed antibiotics and mum pulled through.
Staff on duty that particular night, took time out to listen and talk to me as I was upset and expecting the worst. Even though I know how busy the staff are, not once did I feel like it was a inconvenience to them to take time out to let me unload my fears.
Thank you.

Very good, leaving has nothing to do with Alexandra House. The reason is that another care home is closer to our home.

My mother was resident in Wallace House Dunstan Gateshead between July August and part of September 2025. I have nothing but praise for the care and kindness shown to her during her stay there. The staff would involve as many residents as possible in the activities and mum always enjoyed her meals there
too.

Prince's Court

I am delighted about how Dad has settled into Prince's Court. I have been impressed at the care that Dad receives from the staff and how well they have got to know him and his needs. The whole team are always welcoming to me and my family, as well as our dog Hattie. Nothing has been too much trouble
to arrange. I am particularly over the moon that Prince's Court have facilitated my Dad being able to see my Mum who is in another care home each week. They realised that seeing Mum is vital for his wellbeing and prioritised this. Today I was able to book out a room to bring my mum's cousin and my mum to visit Dad. This was the first time the three of them had been together in years.
I know that Dad is safe and well cared for and this means so much. Thank you.

My mother came into Lindsay House for two weeks after a recent fall to convalesce. Her room over looked the church and field she took pictures to make it homely for the duration of her stay. Food was freshly prepared on site and was of a high standard. All the staff were professional, polite, helpful
and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend Lindsay House.

Prince's Court

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Princes Court provided a friendly, caring and professional home for our dear friend. He required nursing care and was treat with dignity and respect throughout his time there. He was provided with a nice clean room with private facilities with appropriate safety measures in place.

Princes Court is

a bright and airy building with spacious corridors and handrails on either side, communal day rooms and gardens for residents and family to enjoy. Residents are encouraged to take part in their activities programme bringing them together. The meals are extremely good - all home cooked food - varied menus and enjoyed very much by our friend.

Our admiration and thanks go to all the staff in Princes Court from management to nurses, to all caring staff, the catering team and cleaners, all of whom do an amazing job.

In our opinion we would have no reservations about choosing this Care Home for your loved one.

Well done to Princes Court
