Mum has been a resident for nearly 3 years now. She has mobility issues and worsening dementia. The staff are caring and patient with her and deal admirably with her over changing needs.

There aren't enough words to convey the difference the care recieved from the staff at Lindsay House has made to my mum. For 10 years they delivered outstanding care with kindness and dedication whilst maintaining her dignity. When I needed it the most they stood by my side, gave me support and the
strength to navigate the most difficult time during Mum's passing.

I have visited Pavilion court over the last three years, to see a church member of Trinity church Gosforth.
As a retired senior nurse in Palliative and end of life care, I was always aware of how clean, spacious and airy Pavilion court appeared.
My friend always looked as if her personal hygiene needs
had been met and that she had been cared for in a dignified manner. She appeared settled and comfortable.
The staff were always welcoming. On my last visit I was informed that my friend had died and the staff supported me as this news had come as a shock . They spoke to the son and received his permission to share his contact details with the church so we could support him and his family in their loss. Her name will also be written in our book of remembrance.
As a visitor for the church I visit several homes in the Newcastle area. I am often asked to recommend a home to friends who are searching for a home for their parents. I have no hesitation in recommending Pavilion court.

Mam and Dad have both been in this care home. Both had excellent care but in my opinion, my dad received the best care. He has recently passed away and I was so impressed by the staff, particularly in his last two weeks - his end-of-life care was exceptional. Staff were so attentive and caring.

Mam has been a resident at Ashfield for almost fifteen years now. Since the day mam arrived everyone was so kind, caring and helpful. Any worries or problems you might have are resolved straight away, which is always reassuring. Mam always took part in activities when she first arrived - baking, crafts,
and bingo, which she loved, but sadly she can no longer take part as her Alzheimer's worsened. She now just loves her treats and cuddles and knowing when we leave her she will be loved and cared for by everyone. Thank you to all the wonderful staff that work there.

My mam has never been in nursing home before. I have looked after my mam for years. Mam coming into Alexander House has been amazing. All carers and senior staff have been wonderful. Me and family are happy to have mam in care home. I would like to thank the management as well for their help and support.

My wife was accepted at Westerleigh from our home as at our age trying to care for my wife was very hard. From the first day coming to the home we were looked after very good and made at ease, and my wife seemed to excel and come back to me after what she went through.

My biggest and most daunting task of my life came when I had to choose a care home for my mam. Choice made in 2021, and Cable House was the one. I cannot say enough good things about Coble House. From the moment we stepped in, the warmth and care were evident. The staff, every single one of them, were
truly exceptional, kind, attentive and always going the extra mile. I was always kept up to date with any medical issues my mam had. I always felt at ease knowing my mam was in such a caring environment until her passing in January. I highly recommend Coble House.

Wordsworth House has a lovely, friendly atmosphere. It becomes part of your life and from reception to visiting your relative you are greeted as a friend.The longer serving staff are good at keeping you up to date with your relatives day to day moods, activities, food consumption. I was so impressed
with concerts from local school, singers, the way the home is decorated for Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Royal and Sporting Events, and the quiz, activity and exercise classes as well as church services. My only suggestion would be to have the television to shown videos of: Strictly, old films, interspersed with just music playing rather than Quiz Shows, News, all afternoon

My husband was admitted to Canterbury House with Alzheimer's disease & because he was a danger to himself & others. Since his arrival he has been given outstanding care & support by the staff who have very skilfully nursed his illness & handled his difficult, sometimes aggressive personality. I cannot
commend them highly enough.

My husband has been a resident for four years. Although his health is failing I visit him regularly and have always found him to be tidy, clean and dressed whenever I visit.
