I feel that the staff we come into contact with my aunties care is welcoming, friendly and willing to listen to any questions we have. Alexandra House is a home from home environment and nothing is too much for the staff to assist. Some things could be improved on i.e.. pictures on the wall, activities.
In all this home is good.

I have nothing but praise for Hilltop Lodge since my mum moved there several months ago. The staff genuinely care about their residents and the facilities are always clean and well maintained with communal areas welcoming and nicely decorated. The management team are both professional and considerate
and always there to help with any queries. My mum has flourished due to the many and varied activities and events arranged by a dedicated team who go above and beyond to ensure that residents are stimulated and entertained.

Crofton Court Residential Care Home

from M F (Husband of Resident) published on 3 March 2026
Submitted via Website • Report
Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My wife was admitted to Crofton Court in December 25 when I could no longer care for her at home because she was in the later stages of dementia. She had been in the care home previously for respite care and I was confident that they could meet her needs. I was not wrong because the care she received
in my opinion was excellent particularly when she was put on the end of life pathway. I was amazed at how the home staff worked with the local GP practice and the community nursing service to ensure that her dignity was maintained, and that she was pain free and comfortable at all times. Lastly the staff went out of there way to support me and my family both practically with refreshments and emotionally when my wife passed away.

Although crofton court could do with a little tlc this has no reflection on the staff and there absolutely dedicated to those in their care. The thoughtfulness, empathy, compassion and resilience is apparent on a daily basis

Lindsay House

Overall Experience 3.0 out of 5
I have been very pleased to see the improvements made ,lately, to the residents environment. Everywhere looks fresh and welcoming. There have been more appropriate programmes on the TV , especially music that the residents can join in with. I made some comments to staff that I believe have been taken
on board, with regard to my friends dietary preferences. I feel that I have been listened to, to the benefit of my friend and other residents. Thank you.

My aunt has been in Alexandra House for approx 4 months & I cannot fault anything about it. In fact, they all go above and beyond. The care has been given to the highest possible standard, excellent interactions between staff and residents, and always treat with the utmost respect, following guidelines.
Food
is always different. The rooms, facilities and dining room are spotless, and everyone is friendly. Would highly recommend.
The management, team leaders and staff work tirelessly around the clock.

I visit my wife regular in the home it certainly went down hill from her first going in became dirty and untidy in all respects, however I have noticed a vast improvement over the last few months since getting a new manager. The staff have always been very good pleasant kind helpful however there is
always the odd one that isn't. I think my only wish now is for painting decorating done on each room.

Since my mam has been living in St Peter's Court she has been very happy living here the care staff/management have all went above and beyond the call of duty. They will go out of their way to make residents and family members feel welcome. The care my mam gets is amazing, I couldn't fault the care she
gets. Even down to cleaning/kitchen staff they all speak to you and make a fuss of my mam. This an excellent care home my mam is in, and I would recommend to family and friends.

Mum has been in Seale Pastures 7 months now. The staff are all very friendly and caring. The home is kept clean and mum's bedroom is too. The food is very good and the residents are well looked after. They hold events for family to join in which is very good. We have no concerns with mum being cared
for here, they keep us informed and up to date if there are any concerns. Overall, clean, friendly and homely where all are well looked after.

I visited unexpectedly yesterday and found my mother clean, tidy and comfortable. She has been bed patient for some time, and has been cared for very well, with no issues with skin or sores. My mother is an end of life patient, so to find her so at ease is a great comfort because of my job. I find myself
frequently in care homes and find Alexandra House both caring and aware of both residents and visitors, 10/10 every visit.

We were so lucky that St Peters Court has one room remaining when hospital advised that my mam could not return to independent accommodation. We had heard good things about St Peters. The work the staff do there is exemplary and always been happy to see mam and her family and go to great lengths to
meet her needs. They allowed us to bring furniture and soft furnishings from her previous flat, happy for you to visit any time- day or night. They also welcome my dog with open arms. Then the 100th birthday party they put on for her was wonderful. Thank you so much St Peters court.

Moorfield House

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
My lovely father moved to Moorfield House at the end of October and stayed there for three months until he sadly passed away yesterday, 4th February 2026. I feel compelled to write this review as the care and attention my dad received from the without exception lovely residential care staff was second
to none. They were always professional and always compassionate. His health declined quite suddenly in the last week, and he was swiftly assessed and provided with an end of life pathway plan. The nursing staff were also warm and responsive, providing him with respectful and compassionate care until he passed away. I would not hesitate to recommend Moorfield house. Thank you, on behalf of my father and his family.
