His physical health and mental health has improved since being monitored constantly by the trained nurses and I'm kept up to date constantly on his health and well being I'm also asked on a regular basis if i personally have any issues with his care, I'm very happy to have found Preswylfa nursing home and would recommend to anyone.

Staff are always pleasant to me and the manager Romana is a ray of sunshine,always smiling and ready to help.

My mother came to the home in 2024. Her care was so good we chose Preswylfa when my father was admitted for end of life care. He is still going strong a year later. The carers are superb and he is extremely happy there. It is quite remarkable how well he's done under their care. I would highly recommend this home.

I have experienced running out of medication twice for two different conditions this is very stressfull.

Cannot praise this care home enough - my father is well cared for and nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff - it's a warm welcoming environment and the manager there is just wonderful - I am kept in the loop about everything, and his care is regularly discussed, and is delivered to a high standard. I have the comfort of knowing he has excellent care when I am not there. Choosing the right care home is paramount for however long my Father has left, and I am forever grateful of the care he has received, and will receive while he is here in Preswylfa. Just want to acknowledge Romana and all her staff for doing an amazing job with my Father in his end of life care. Thank you all for looking after him so well.

My only suggestion would be that a social media page would be great to see what happening and what activities are on, and a list of staff with names as I sometimes forget them!

I would recommend this nursing home to everyone who is needing the highest quality care, the staff are wonderful, nothing was too much trouble, to sit with my farther of 99 years old and hear the cleaner walking into rooms chatting away with the residents even though the residents couldn't answer, it's a worrying time when you can't live with your parent and care for them, thank goodness we found your amazing home where my farther spent his last few weeks,

From the first phone call to moving my mother into Canterbury House the Management were very helpfull. On arrival with my Mother the staff were very welcoming. Her care team escorted us to her room and immediately started attending to her. The home is run to a very high standard, it is exceptionally clean and tidy. My mothers health and wellbeing has made a vast improvement in the short time she has been there.

All the staff from management, care staff and domestics are absolutely brilliant! They all work together as 1 big team. He is always clean and usually dressed in matching tops and pants. This is important to us as a family and to J. Really satisfied with Canterbury House!!

My mother Shirley was a resident at Preswylfa for over a year and in all that time we found both the facilities and the staff to be first class we found that staff from all departments were excellent, kind, caring and often going above and beyond to look after residents, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Preswylfa

Since m-I-law came here almost a year ago she has been well looked after by management and staff. Food is good. She needs medical care through the night.Activities make a big difference well done to all staff. Highly recommend this care home.

I have stayed at several homes, Preswylfa is by far the best. Staff are very kind and officiant and are made to feel welcome. Nothing is to much trouble for anyone. For any one considering this home to retire in, I can thoroughly recommend this home.

My mum is really settling in and is on end of life the staff are really good and caring and the manager is always involved with her care. They have took a lot of stress off me and my sister and we can relax a bit more knowing she is in good hands

This has truly become a home for my Gran, she sees it as her own and I cannot thank you enough for this, it is credit to you all for creating such a safe environment for all of the residents.

Started a rocky start, but getting better, still worry when in work and unable to visit Mum. Position and catheter is a worry and not having regular pad care and washes. Leading nurse is doing her best for this to be done, but weekends and after 5 o'clock things slack. Staff can't do enough for us but just these little things need sorting.

Dad is comfortable, and happy. This means everything to the family. A daunting transition has been achieved with positive outcomes for all.

Visited friend who is a resident at Canterbury House. It's such a lovely, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Music playing in hall when you arrive which is happy and welcoming. Staff all lovely, professional, friendly and caring. Very impressed, felt quite emotional in a happy way. Residents all happy

My husband was admitted to Canterbury House with Alzheimer's disease & because he was a danger to himself & others. Since his arrival he has been given outstanding care & support by the staff who have very skilfully nursed his illness & handled his difficult, sometimes aggressive personality. I cannot commend them highly enough.

My husband has been a resident for four years. Although his health is failing I visit him regularly and have always found him to be tidy, clean and dressed whenever I visit. The carers are friendly and caring and domestic staff very efficient. I can thoroughly recommend Canterbury House to anyone who ha to put a loved one into care.

We know that she is safe and well cared for which is a huge relief to us.
