Find the home always welcoming and friendly and staff always pleasant, so visiting is always nice. Have no negative comments.

As my brother in law is deceased, I am filing in this review. He was well looked after for the seven years he was in Wellburn House. Could find no fault with the home. The staff were excellent.

My brother and I attended Ayresome Court unannounced as we were looking for a carehome for our mother. We were met by such lovely staff. We were shown around with such enthusiasm. The whole place had a calm and welcoming atmosphere and it was spotless (and no smells) My brother and I knew that this was the one... We brought our mother from a nursing facility. Initially she was not at all happy, she wouldn't engage in any activities, however with the kindness and dedication of all the staff, my mother loves it there, participating in all activities, it's a joy to behold. The staff there are truly worth their weight in gold...

He died very peacefully in his own room at Ayresome. It was a gentle and painless passing with a member of Ayresome night staff by his bedside to hold his hand. He was treated with respect and dignity both in his last moments and throughout his stay.

Catering done to cover everybody's needs. Lovely safe place for elderly people.

Our mum has been in Piper Court for a few months and apart from a few blips (human error) we're really happy the staff are lovely helpful and pleasant, cleaning staff are brilliant too, food is nice, only had one bad meal, Val (mam) is happy as she can be with dementia, everyone is happy which is just what she needs.

Sadly, my mother's condition deteriorated as a result of her injury, but she had the best possible care and attention at Ayresome in my opinion for the last two weeks of her life. Thank you.

I've found the home very good and they take great care of my mam. I have found the staff excellent. Her hygiene is kept ot a high standard which I am pleased about.

This review is about my mum. Overall Mum is well cared for, any problems have always been rectified, has made many friends here, not only residents, staff also. Visiting often feels like they are all family. I have made suggestions for a water cooler at the care home in residential meetings. This would not only benefit residents, also staff, especially now the weather is getting warmer.

The care has been very good, the girls are excellent I can't praise them enough. The girl who the entertainment has been brilliant. The senior has been brilliant with my auntie. I would recommend Wellburn House care home to anyone.

Overall very good, sometimes I find my friend needs a little more help because my friend always gives the impression she can manage herself. A little extra time to make sure she is dressed correctly. She is very happy and the staff are very good with her. All her needs are met.

My mother has been in Wellburn for nearly four years now, and from the moment she arrived she and us, were greeted with a warm welcome from all members of staff and shown around the home and her room, which was clean and tidy. Staff are friendly, caring and full of support. The dining area is spacious and serves lovely food. Activities are set up in the lounge most days, which the residents enjoy; also visits from local choirs, school children , and entertainers. Overall its reassuring to know my mother is happy and settled in a lovely home.

Mum has been in Wellburn House for over 6 years, has always been happy and well looked after. Staff are friendly and caring. Mum has had a few accidents and illness problems, but has been dealt with quickly. She is happy there.

Ayresome Court have been amazing in supporting my mother on her discharge from hospital. I cannot thank them enough.

From the day my husband was admitted, we were treated with friendly professionalism. All staff very caring. Cannot thank all at Piper Court enough for treating my husband with dignity and respect in his final days.

I found visiting the home there were brown spot on the floor in the rooms. This happens when the patients are being changed. I think you know what I am referring to. I noticed the cleaners are working and they use a mops. Mops are useful for mopping up spillages not for cleaning large scale floors. I have visited other homes. They have an electric rotate cleaner. It cleans with spray or cleaner, it also scrubs the floor and sucks up the water and leaves a clean surface and removes any stains. This is not a complaint. I am sure the clearers do try to do a good job and do their best. In my job I would try and make the work more effective for the employee.

Always nice little bits to eat between the lovely meals.

Excellent care of my dad - nothing was too much trouble. Staff from housekeeping to management were caring, considerate and professional. Highly recommend.
