My mother in law was at Church House for almost 3 1/2 years. In that time the staff have always looked after her really well, like part of one big family. Nothing was ever too much trouble for any of the staff, from the home manager down.
Thank you for your lovely review, your feedback will be shared with all our Church House team.
Church House is not a swish, modern facility with a glossy brochure. What is does have is a warm, helpful atmosphere with an abundance of staff who care. From the care taker to the cook, from day staff to night staff, there was always a warm welcome. The manage and her team always treated mum with care and respect and we felt she was in safe hands at last. Mum's needs were always regularly reviewed and changed made as she needed them. This care also extended to dad who visited each Friday, for a fish and chip lunch with mum followed by social activities in the afternoon. However he didn't quite take to knit knatter. He got a nickname 'pops' from the staff, talked football and farming with staff. The many cups of tea was always appreciated. We will be forever grateful.
Thank you to everybody who spends time with and looks after my mum.

I looked at a few care homes for my mum, and I instantly favoured Church House when I went for a visit. I could not ask for better nursing care. My mum is so happy here, always clean, tidy room, caring and attentive staff. Everyone who works her greets you with a smile, and nothing is too much trouble when asking for anything. My mum is having the best of care for her.
