Over all time Dene Park House has 45 reviews.
My husband has only been here for 4 weeks but has settled well. He is comfortable with the staff and enjoys the food. His dementia causes him to wander, both day and night, but his security is taken very seriously.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your lovely review, we are happy your husband has settled well with us at Dene Park House and will share all your positive feedback with our team.
No other words but wonderful
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a wonderful score and review - your feedback will be shared with the Dene House Park team.
Special mention must go to Julie, the activities manager, who ensures the residents have plenty of things to do and varied activities that they all seem to enjoy. She is excellent at ensuring all residents are included
I would also like to thank Charlotte, who put our minds at rest when we were initially looking for a nursing care home for mum, and who has ensured we've been kept up to date with everything that has been going on
Although mum's time at Dene Park House was relatively short before her passing, I know she felt happy and cared for. My wife and I are so pleased we chose this as her home
We are very sorry for the loss of your mum and would like to thank you for taking the time to leave such a kind and considerate review. Your lovely feedback will be passed to all the team and also the specific Colleagues you have mentioned.
My mother has lived at Dene Park for four years. She feels happy, safe and comfortable here. All of the staff are caring and work hard. The team of nursing and care staff are kind, accommodating and ensure good care is given to the residents and are mindful of their individual needs. The domestics do a wonderful job of keeping the care home clean as well as the residents' laundry. The food is cooked well. Any issues myself or my mother have had have always been dealt with professionally by management who are approachable and proactive.
Thank you for your wonderful review and kind words, the 5-star feedback will be shared with all our Dene Park House team.
A relaxing time. Nice food. Good staff.
Thank you for leaving Dene Park House such a lovely review, your positive feedback will be passed to all our team.
I find that day staff do provide good care and attention. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for night staff. All other aspects of care are good. Activities are excellent since new person took over. The one problem I have is that when a message is asked to be passed on it very rarely is.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, your feedback has been passed to all the team.
Simply excellent on every level.
Thank you for your 5-star review and kind words, your feedback will be shared with all our Dene Park House team.
Everyone is caring and kind.
Thank you for your lovely review, we will pass your feedback to all the team at Dene Park House.
I have been a resident at Dene Parj House since February 2023. During this time I have always been looked after exceptionally well. With no complaints with my treatment, meals etc. By a very friendly staff.
Thank you for your wonderful 5-star review, your kind words will be passed to all our Dene Park team.
I have limited knowledge and experience of care homes but have been pleasantly surprised at the excellent level of care and commitment shown by all the staff. In particular the nursing/care of the staff who daily/nightly see to all the needs of my relative which at times has been extremely challenging for them. The staff and management have always kept me and other family members fully informed of my relative's welfare and health. All in all, excellent!
Thank you for your lovely review and fantastic feedback that we will pass on to the team.
Since Mum has been here, she has settled in well. Staff are all lovely, very kind, caring and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. Room nice and personalised it. Very happy with the care received.
Thank you for your lovely review; your wonderful feedback will be passed on to our team.
I have nothing but gratitude and respect for the Dene Park team. They have looked after my mum so well over the years and have been so patient and kind. It is time to move on, as my mum's needs have increased. I would just like to thank all the team, especially three members of staff in particular. I have witnessed the person-centred and caring approach adopted to all residents. I would be happy to be involved in any further feedback.
Thank you for your lovely review, we will pass this over to the team at Dene Park House.
Friends of mine who have visited with me have also praised Dene Park House as a very caring home.
There is still room for improvement in terms of communication, I recently arrived for a visit and found out on arrival that there was a Covid outbreak and visiting was restricted. Surely it would have been prudent to send an email to each resident's family to let them know about this. I was also alarmed to discover that my mum had been subjected to a deprivation of liberty safeguards assessment without my knowledge that the referral had been made.
Thank you for your review, we are pleased that you are able to see the improvements that the manager and her team have made. Our home manager will be in touch from Dene Park to look into your concerns raised.
I would personally like to thank all of the hardworking staff at Dene Park House who care for my mum on a daily basis. I am lucky that I can visit her daily however when I am not there I am reassured by the updates I receive from the staff around how she has been throughout the day and the conversations they have been having with her.
I would not hesitate in recommending Dene Park House for your loved ones.
Thank you for your lovely review of our home and kind words about our colleagues, these will be passed to our Dene Park House team.
It feels like home, it’s a friendly environment and my Mum receives excellent care. Most of the staff have worked at Dene Park House long term and feel like an extended part of our own family. My Mum is happy living here and feels her needs are well met.
Unfortunately, both my mother and father have recently had to go in to care. We researched and visited several homes and decided that Dene Park House was the best fit for their care needs. I would like to thank the team for the outstanding level of care that they deliver day in, day out. Some staff deserve a special thank you as they have kept me well informed about how my parents are doing during this transition period. I could thoroughly recommend this care home and brilliant team for your loved ones.
Thank you for your very kind review. It is our pleasure to look after your mum and dad. They are both part of our Dene Park House family.
My dad has been at this home for over two years now. In that time, I've seen a lot of different managers come and go. The current manager is the best one since my dad has been there. My dad's needs are quite complex, where in the past, I've had problems and worried if it was getting done correctly. I've now got full confidence in the staff in doing this. All the staff are very friendly and work really hard at their jobs. I've marked the activities are very poor, but I believe once we are out of this pandemic, the manager will be looking to improve this.
Thank you for your very kind review. I am very grateful for the personal mention. I am pleased I have made a difference to your dads care. I hope once we can get back to 'normal' we will have plenty of chances to make happy memories. The staff at Dene Park House are the lucky ones to care for your dad.
Dene Park looked after my Aunt so well. Nothing was trouble. Communication between myself and my aunt was fantastic. Lockdown was hard but Dene Park made sure we were kept informed at all times. Staff made sure we had facetime calls numerous times a month. All staff are so caring and attentive. Activities need addressing.
My dad was with Dene Park Care Home for only a couple of months before he sadly passed away. Unfortunately, he died of covid-19 causing complications with his dementia during the second peak of the pandemic. As we were unable to visit, the staff at all levels were kind, considerate and nothing was too much trouble. They ensured dad got the food he liked and we could speak on the phone until he lost his power of speech, so we knew he was being cared for. The staff organised a photograph of the residents. So we have a special festive reminder of him on his last Christmas which we will treasure.
Thank you for your very kind review. I am so happy that we managed to make you some new memories. Your dad may not have been here for long but he became a much-loved part of our family.
