Excellent care given to my friend. She enjoys the entertainment and the food. The staff are always friendly and look after my friend with dignity and respect and she is well cared for. Top marks deserved by everyone at Jack Dormand.

Jack Dormand Care Home in Peterlee provides outstanding care in a warm and supportive environment. My brother is a resident there, and I am continually reassured by the kindness, professionalism and compassion shown by all staff.
The team take the time to truly understand residents as individuals,
treating them with dignity and respect at all times. The home is clean, welcoming and well managed, with excellent communication and a real sense of community. I would highly recommend Jack Dormand Care Home to anyone seeking high-quality care for a loved one.

From the minute we walked through the door we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. My brother-in-law Paul was constantly telling me how happy he was here. The whole team made us welcome and as we were here for the day we were provided with lovely well cooked food. All the residents seemed very
happy and very chatty. The rooms and all comminal rooms were beautifully decorated and everything was clean and homely. The atmosphere was calm and caring and the facilities exceptional.

From the beginning of our visit to the end we received genuine warmth and hostpitality with understated professionalism. A rare thing. The team is also highly motivated and uses this to enhance the environment through a creative 'mindset' to make the rooms a bit special. I genuinely believe this
creativity has a positive effect on the patients mental health which is evidentous through my brother Paul.

Everything we have seen about the home has been really excellent. From his care, looking after him as well as all the staff are very kind and friendly and very caring. Hoping that it all continues and everything stays as good as it is.This is another exceptional care home. Many thanks.

My uncle came into the home for six weeks respite as he hasn't been feeling well. The home has been very welcoming towards him and myself. The staff are very friendly caring and helpful in meeting his care needs. He has settled from day one and in my opinion is enjoying relaxing, watching his TV in
bed. I think this care home was definitely the right choice.

My friend is a resident, and this care home has an excellent level of care shown to residents. All the staff are brilliant and provide everything the residents need. My friend is happy living there, and when we visit, we are made welcome by everyone. The home is very clean, and what makes it special
is the care that all the staff provide.

The care and support is exceptional. All the staff are caring and very professional if and when there is a problem the staff go that extra mile to try and resolve the issue. I am happy and content my son is receiving the best of care.

Absolutely outstanding service.
My father was treated with care and kindness and so was my family.
I was able to stay with dad overnight and the night staff were helpful and attentive.
My family are truly grateful to all the staff.

My mother suffers from advanced dementia and her care in Jack Dormand is excellent. She is treated with care, kindness and dignity. I cannot fault any of the staff at the home they are all kind and caring. The facilities and activities are first class. I would recommend this home to anyone.

Mam is so well looked after here. Carers are so caring, they know mam so well. The carers go above and beyond in their care of mam. The place itself has such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We are so happy with mam's care.

Must say my mam has improved so much since she came into Jack Dormand Care Home. She has settled well even though she says to us she doesn't like being here, just for something to say! We are more than happy with the care staff. I feel less worried knowing she is safe and looked after at all times.
The nursing care is very good and I'm informed of any health changes etc. They are spot on when treatments are received. Thank you.

Mam has now been in care for just over 2 years. She has settled well into her environment. She is well catered for in all aspects. She has high praise for all staff members and how clean and fresh her new home is. She enjoys all meals and likes to have banter with staff. Its a bit difficult for her
to interact in activities as she is blind so mainly keeps herself to herself. All in all she is well looked after in all her needs 24/7.

Jack Dormand Care Home has been home to my mam in law since June 2024. In that time staff have shown nothing but kindness, compassion and professionalism at all times. Frequent activities keep mam entertained and we are confident she is well cared for when we're not there. Regarding the meals - I
was asked if I wanted to have tea with mam one day and it was superb! Thank you Jack Dormand.

The staff here have taken away all my concerns regarding my mam being in a care home. The personal touch they show to my mam and the family is very good, with everyone interacting in a friendly and courteous manner with consideration to how she is feeling at any given time. The home is spotless,
cleaners are visible every day. Home is nice and warm. Entertainment staff are excellent.
