View Full Details of Red Brick HouseThe office staff were excellent in their communication with me regarding a respite room for my husband. They could not have been more helpful. The care staff were very friendly and welcoming. My husband enjoyed his meals especially teatime, as if it seemed as if there was a treat everyday. Visitors were welcomed and thought that my husband was well cared for. He prefers being at home but did not find his stay upsetting and returned home on good form.
Since moving in at first it was hard, but I got used to it. It is nice and the staff are very helpful and nice, well manners, food is good kitchen make what you ask for.
The home is a very nice to visit, staff always friendly and happy to see you. Mam always well cared for. Room very clean.
Team are always very welcoming, warm and friendly, make a point of updating me on how mother is doing when I arrive. My observations are that mother is always treat with the upmost respect and dignity at all times. Treat as Individuals tailoring care to the needs of their personalities. In mothers case will be encouraged to participate in activities but never forced to do anything. Witness the banter, joking on between carers and residents, loving caring atmosphere.
Redbrick has proven to be an excellent choice of care facility for our mother. She was at another provider and went down hill quiet quickly. Once moving her to Redbrick, after an initial settling in period, she was encourage to join activities and started interacting with staff and other residents which is wonderful. The staff are interactive and supportive of her dementia needs. We find the home communicate well giving updates and reassurances which is a blessing at what can be difficult and upsetting times. Thank you for all your hard work.
Dad has been at Red Brick for 2 months now and has really settled in. My dad absolutely loves his freedom and needs to go out everyday. This is not necessarily the norm for the residential home. However they could not have been kinder or more facilitating to his needs. Absolutely tremendous.
Rely on staff to update us (family) on my mam's health and well-being as unfortunately she has dementia so is unable to tell us herself. Feel not always informed and notified. My mam is not always treated with dignity in terms of her state of dress (often wearing t-short/top but not bra top) Could be more communication with my mam by staff as can be dismissive and show lack of patience/care.
Overall care for my mother is good. Staff helpful and pleasant.
Since my Grandma moved into Redbrick She has settled really well. The staff meet all her needs and love to have a laugh and chat. Her room suits her needs perfectly as she isn't the most mobile on her feet and She can find it easily. The activities the home has on daily keep her busy and entertained. Couldn't be happier with the care provided.
Mam is well cared for she gets on well with the staff. Staff are friendly and professional to my mam and to our family . Although the staff can sometimes lack in communication with family with concerns or what has been happening with Mam
From Day one, I felt comfortable with my mother beng in the care of the lovely staff at Red Brick. Not an easy decision after caring for my mother for so long preciously. But, the staff assured me and updated me and always pleasant, understanding and happy. They are angels in disguise and should have more recognition for the very hard work they do. Thank you.
My father-in-law went into Red Brick House 3 weeks ago end of life. The staff have been exceptional in the care they provided. His room was clean comfortable and in an area where he could be observed towards the later days of his life. The staff kept us updated as he deteriorated. They were professional friendly and kind.
Care staff have excellent communication skills with residents/each other/families. Nursing care of an excellent standard so that families know their relative is being well looked after. Each resident is treated with dignity and respect and as an actual individual. All round teamwork is evident in keeping relative comfortable.
The staff at Red Brick House are excellent. They are very caring and professional. My husband is very well looked after a safe. He has a comfortable room and the food is very good.
The staff were incredible. I honestly don't know how they do the job they do as there is so much sadness. They always had a smile for my wife and me, a kind action that helped me enormously.
The warmth and the understanding we all received from the staff were amazing and Mum's care was dealt with, with dignity and compassion. Thank you especially for taking such good care of my dad who would have been lost without you.
Cannot speak highly enough of all the staff at Red Brick House The family and I have always been made to feel welcome and appreciate the care, dignity and dedication which they show to the residents. After visiting we can leave knowing our family member is in good hands.

I can't speak too highly of the staff at Red Brick House - they have helped and supported my brother to settle in and have been fantastic in their care for him. I have also been made very welcome on my frequent visits to see him and so reassured that he is cared for in this way. Thank you so much.
