When I visit my Mam I'm always made to feel welcome. I feel listened to and the staff listen to my suggestions. My Mam is very well looked after and is very happy wtih the care and support she receives in South Bebside Care Home. The staff are lovely and kind.

From the time my mum was admitted to South bebside care home, she has been cared for like a family member. The team are all committed , caring and respectful of her needs. I know my mum is safe , happy and fed well. And settled down quickly. They are a great support to us too

My mam was really anxious and upset about coming into the home. However, the staff have been amazing and made sure she and the family were 'at home' and safe and well. The result....mam absolutely loves it here!! I can't thank all the staff enough they work so hard and are lovely x

From our first contact until my father in law became a resident, we cannot fault the staff, the care, the food, the communication, and the outstanding cleanliness of every area of the home. A very caring environment, plenty of fabulous outings for the residents. Truly exceptional in very way.

A lovely cosy atmosphere always feels homely and welcoming. The staff are very kind and caring to the residents and visitors. The needs of the residents are met with professionalism, care and understanding, in a beautiful home from home. I would not hesitate in allowing any of my family to go there.

The care home provides an exceptional service caring for my father, who has dementia, and I have total confidence in their ability as they are very friendly, helpful and compassionate. The accommodation is excellent, the meals are first class and they provide lots of varied activities.

My partner was in the are home for five weeks. I was very satisfied with his care. Plenty of activities and he loved Bobby the dog. I would definitely place him in the home again if the occasion arouse and there was a room available.

My mam came to South Bebside Care Home 1st May 2025 for respite with the view to long term/ permanent.I was very undecided whether to do this but I've never looked back, the staff are fabulous, rooms very spacious, lovely lounge/ dayroom and very pleasant family conservatory.The meals are lovely and plentiful and lots if choice.Mam is a very private person who doesn't mix but she is joining in, going in day trips, hairdresser and nails painted every week.Im over the moon with my decision as all staff are very approachable very friendly and go that extra mile to help.

South Bebside is very homely with a lovely atmosphere , the management and the staff can't be more helpful and are very friendly , they treat the residents like their own family with respect and dignity , there are always great activities going on and some residents go on an outing every week making it a special day for them , they help the residents to engage with each other to make them all feel welcome , when you walk in you get a warm friendly atmosphere and I just can't fault it or the care my relative received from the brink of death from one care home to back on her feet to go to her own home , it's just a wonderful place to stay and if you ask other residents they will say they are very happy there , if you do get a place here consider yourself very lucky , it's the best home in Blyth in my eyes , you can go anytime of the day and the standard of care never changes , it's a fabulous home 10 out of 10 .

My stepdad was in there for respite. All the staff were so lovely with him. They made sure he was engaging in all the activities and they were always smiling and happy with all the residents. The manageress was so lovely to deal with, nothing ever a problem. It was clean and homely and it didn't matter what time of day you went, you were welcomed and all the residents were happy. This home is definitely an 11/10 for sure.

Cousin stayed here for several months, visited her several times & always found the care given exceptional, staff very friendly & showed genuine care to both residents & visitors. Entrance hall welcoming & displaying numerous activities some of which relatives were welcome to attend, security for visitors was spot on, meals were home cooked & looked both delicious & nutritional with a good choice of menu. Overall a very caring friendly place to live cannot praise the staff enough for the way my relatives looked after

Fantastic service recieved, my mum loved been here always happy and smiling. Staff are very upbeat and friendly. Always going above and beyond. Nice quiet place , meal times are her favourite very good home cooked qualify food. The staff do an amazing job and always happy to help very caring.

All staff are very friendly and helpful. My dad has settled in his new room very well. He is always treated with dignity and we're really happy with his care.

Always have been happy with the staff, always get good information as to how my dad is doing. Dad is settled and feels safe which is reassuring for the family. Dad likes the staff and seems to get on with all of them. Overall I am very happy with the care my dad receives from the care home.

My brother has adequate care and attention from all of the available staff. He is given all the qualities needed to make sure he is warm and well-fed. I would like to see him have a regular review of his personal skin care as he has outbreaks of a sore face.

Staff very friendly. My dad is very happy here. He is well looked after. However, I dont always think his room is as clean as it could be. He also uses a commode (and/or a bottle) in his room to go to the toilet and it is often full when I visit which is not pleasant.
