View Full Details of Queen Elizabeth CourtThe level of nursing care provided by everyone at Queen Elizabeth Court is outstanding and heartfelt - the most important reassurance for any family member (and especially for those like me who live overseas). A high level of professionalism is demonstrated by all, be that management, kitchen, garden or reception staff and above all, those who provide 'front-line' care. It is rare for more than 30 minutes to go by before someone pops their head around the door to offer needed support or just a friendly word.
My dear aunt will have been a resident for 7 years this October and the care and service has always been consistent and exceptional from all staff. She is happy and feels at home at Queen Elizabeth Court. She interacts well with all the staff who are kind, caring and ensure my aunt is comfortable at all times. Any concerns are addressed immediately and the staff carry out their roles with professionalism, care and regard to dignity for the residents at all times. It continues to be a pleasure to visit my aunt, as we are made very welcome too. It is a wonderful home and I highly recommend it. I am so glad that my aunt is here and I know that she is in very safe, caring hands and I never have to worry about her well being. Thank you, Queen Elizabeth Court.
My husband has wonderful care from all the staff and I feel supported by them whenever I visit,. Due to his vulnerability he always feels safe there and the atmosphere there is always cheerful. He is given the opportunity to go to his room or to the lounge.
My mother, Gwyneth, has been a resident at Queen Elizabeth Court Care Home, and I cannot speak highly enough of the care and attention she has received. From the moment she arrived, the staff made her feel welcome, valued, and truly at home. The team are compassionate, professional, and consistently go above and beyond to ensure the residents' wellbeing. They treat my mother with dignity and kindness, taking the time to understand her needs and preferences. The home itself is warm, well-maintained, and creates a real sense of community, which has been wonderful for her. The activities, meals, and overall atmosphere are excellent, and I have great peace of mind knowing that my mother is in such safe and caring hands. I am deeply grateful to everyone at Queen Elizabeth Court for the difference they have made to my mother's quality of life. -Gareth
We have Power of Attorney for our cousin who has dementia and has been resident for almost two years at Queen Elizabeth Court. For the whole of that time the staff have done everything possible to help her settle and care for her even though of late her condition has often been challenging because of her illness. Her room is always immaculately clean and she, herself, tells us how kind the staff are to her. We are very impressed by all the staff in the unit and in reception who are well informed about our cousin and keep us up to date with her condition and anything she needs to improve her quality of life. We could not ask for more, we are always made welcome when we visit. The times of our visits are random but there is always a calm and caring atmosphere in the unit.
My mother has lived at Queen Elizabeth Court for almost 3 years and I have visited her regularly. She tells me she is happy to be there and feels safe and well cared for. She likes her spacious room, where she can watch people come and go, and at other times she enjoys sitting in the lounge with the other residents for company. I have observed the unit where my mother is resident to be thoughtfully led and the staff are very caring and attentive to residents individual needs and wellbeing. Communication with the staff is very positive and I feel I am kept up to date with any developments. The unit feels relaxed and it has a structure to the day, without being regimented, which suits my mother as she can please herself with what she does and when. Staff are very reassuring and supportive to my mother and provide appropriate care and activities. I am very satisfied with the standard of care my mother receives at Queen Elizabeth Court and reassured that she is in a safe place.
My friend moved in a number of months in a number of months ago. His wife and I have visited many times and have been thoroughly impressed with entire staff. Everyone is passionate and enthusiastic, allowing the guests a relaxed and enjoyable lifestyle, while supporting and encouraging them. Overall a helpful and creative team. Thank you all for your support.
I would just like to say how exceptional your staff are. Very caring, and their work ethic is 100%. Would highly recommend Queen Elizabeth Court.
I came into QE Court for 2 weeks, so my wife could go to London to visit our family. It really was home from home but what made it was the staff who all went out of their way for me, I was given a great bedroom and the food was 5 star. If I had to give it a number it would be 100 out of 50.
Excellent treatment by all nurses and carers. I know she is in good hands. Couldn't ask for more.
Some very nice staff. Some lovely rooms with a very nice outlook of the surrounding landscaped areas. A reasonable choice of menu, however it can be somewhat limited at times. A good range of activities available to the residents, also flexible visiting times.
My mum is thriving under the care of the truly wonderful staff at Queen Elizabeth Court. As mum's condition has deteriorated, I have had experience of her living in 4 placed offering varying levels of care. Queen Elizabeth Court is by far and away the best, despite doing research and thinking I was always getting the best possible care for mum, in the past I've been very disappointed. However, Queen Elizabeth Court is like a breath of fresh air, the food, staff, cleanliness and the entertainment/stimulation offered is second to none. All care establishments should strive to be like Queen Elizabeth Court. Mum is so much happier and so am I.
My uncle is a very independent man in the later stages of dementia. He had been living alone but with frequent falls needed 24-hour care. Queen Elizabeth Court is so different to other care homes I have visited. There is a relaxed atmosphere and everyone is so friendly, staff mingle with residents either in the lounge or in their own very pleasant room. They take the trouble to find out about each resident and then act upon the information to interact with them individually. My uncle is given the freedom to get up and dressed when he wants and to walk freely with the secure wing. This gives him the same feeling of control he had in his own home. Everything is discreetly monitored so residents don't feel they are being watched but I can feel confident that if there were a problem it would be spotted immediately. I didn't think there would be a care home where my Uncle would be content but Queen Elizabeth Court fills the bill perfectly and I am so pleased to have found it.
I really cannot fault the home at all and that is exactly what it is, a home. The staff are so friendly and caring and it is immaculately clean. So much effort goes into the activities for the residents. My mum really enjoys this and enjoys socialising with others. It's nice to see my mum smiling and we as a family have got back the quality of spending time with Mum.
My stay of one month respite at Queen Elizabeth Court was everything I was led to believe. Excellent.
It was wih great sadness that we had to resort to finding a care home for my father but it has been such a wonderful and happy experience coming to Queen Elizabeth Court. The way my father and us as a family have been treated has been with care and dignity and the staff in the home are truly the best. It is the staff who make it such a lovely place and the care and kindness is quite incredible! The environment as well - it is light, bright and doesn't feel like a care home. We couldn't wish for a nicer place for Dad.
Still happy with the care that my mother-in-law is receiving. The staff are always helpful and smiling and look after her very well.
My mum has been a resident for 2 years and the care and service is second to none and she is very happy.
The care has been excellent in Queen Elizabeth Llandudno. All staff committed to their roles in this home. Will highly recommend this home. I/we hope to return for respite in the future months/years.
My experience with Queen Elizabeth Court the year my mother stayed. Positives: amazing care with the nurses and carers at both residential and the nursing side. We did have a few issues with a couple of carers but was sorted quickly. Negatives: needs a bit of a revamp in places! Office and management overall make you feel very uncomfortable: Covid situations don't help. Both reception ladies are extremely nice - thoughtful and compassionate. My mum had the best end-of-life care there.
