My dad moved into Ty Enfys over six months ago. We weren't sure how he would feel about leaving his own home behind, but he now considers Ty Enfys as his home. He is much happier with someone always available to talk to every day, and activities to take part in. He is well cared for, and is safe. He considers the staff and other residents to be his friends, and he is thriving in their company, both mentally and physically. The cafe is warm and welcoming. He loves meeting family members there for coffee and a slice of cake. Ty Enfys have also facilitated his attendance at hospital appointments by arranging appropriate transport, and waiting with him where necessary. In short, we are relieved that we made the right choice in placing our dad into Ty Enfys.

Mum has been generally very well cared for at Ty Enfys. We feel free to bring up any concerns we have and when concerns are raised with nursing staff and carers they are dealt with quickly. A lovely home with caring staff.

Mum is always well cared for, and staff keep me informed of changes in her condition. Mum can't take part in activities but she has her personalised music list played to her in her room, and she gets to sit in one of the lounges for a change of scene. The Christmas decorations now look fabulous. The food here looks and smells very good. There are often activities and events days going on around the home, and the staff are very helpful.

I have nothing but high praise and appreciation for the staff looking after my Dad. He has been receiving nursing care for dementia, cancer and a range of other health concerns for approximately 8 months. What matters most to Dad and the family is that he is cared for with not only expertise, but warmth and respect. We conducted extensive research before deciding that Ty Enfys would be a perfect fit for Dad. What cinched it for us were a few little unannounced visits where you can really get a feel for the environment and people who live or work there. There isnt a stand out team, because everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, caring and professional. Everyone gives 100%. The food is incredible and varied and the activiies fun and wide ranging. Dad has been safe and content during his stay because the standard of care is exceptional.Choosing care for/with someone you love is heartbreaking. We are so grateful to Ty Enfys for everything. Thank you for making it easier! X

Mum came to live at Ty Enfys after a hospital stay following a stroke. She had been living independently with some support, so it was a huge step for her ( and us) to consider the move. We have all received real kindness from the whole team at Ty Enfys. There is a lovely sense of community at the home - staff and volunteers are long standing which I think says everything. Everyone is open to feedback even about small details and feedback is acted upon. Mum says she feels very well looked after and that 'nothing is too much trouble ' for the care team. The activities team really take care to get to know everyone and support them to be involved in the life of the home as much or as little as residents want. For example there a very full calendar of events for Christmas and a delicious menu. Mum is enjoying the food and we have too when we have joined her for a meal. Thank you everyone at Ty Enfys

My experience with this care home has been positive.The staff are warm, patient, and genuinely invested in residents' wellbeing. Communication with families is clear and consistent, and I always feel reassured that my loved one is in safe hands. The home is clean, well-maintained, and offers a variety of activities that keep residents engaged and happy. The activities team, in particular, are incredibly dedicated and truly invested in the residents, always making an effort to create meaningful, enjoyable experiences. I'm very grateful for the care and compassion shown.

My sister, who suffered from Alzheimer's, was very well looked after by all the staff she came in contact with in Ty Enfys. She was there for over a year. I don't think that we could have found better care for her anywhere. I would thoroughly recommend this care home.

My mum recently moved into Ty Enfys and I couldn't be more grateful for the support she has received. From the very beginning, the staff have been so welcoming to both my mum and our whole family. They've taken the time to really get to know her and understand her needs, always showing kindness and respect. The home itself is immaculate and has such a lovely atmosphere, with a beautiful café where residents and families can spend time together. The staff truly go above and beyond, and it gives us great peace of mind knowing my mum is in such caring hands.

Excellent care provided to my mum in a dementia unit at Ty Enfys. The Activities team in particular need recognition for the very personal input they give to residents organising music, celebratory events and teas.

My Mum has been in Ty Enfys for over two years. The team look after her very well and are very friendly. I am particularly happy that all the team in the building know her name and say Hello as we pass. The cafe by reception is a great place to have a coffee and share news and memories

Mum has been living at ty Enfys for fifteen months now, she is a strong independent woman and took a very long time to settle, during this period and even now she can be challenging, every member of staff including house keeping show nothing but patience, care, understanding, and compassion towards her, I have no worries about her at all, the environment is that of a happy well run ship, the staff are always very pleasant in what is a very difficult job. I cannot express my appreciation enough for my peace of mind. Thank you all

Dad has been with Ty Enfys since Sept 2024 and overall has received a high level of care. The nursing home is always clean. The staff (carers, nursing staff, activity leads and reception) are all very attentive and willing to help to provide the best experience they can. There are regular activities for residents to take part in, and even when full participation is not physically possible, the care staff encourage as much as possible. There are a variety of areas around the home to meet during visits.

MY mother has been in the care home for 4 months. The standard of care is excellent, and communication with myself is very good. There is a wide range of activities and events. For me, the standout aspect is the welcome when we arrived, everyone already knew Mum's name and said hello. This has continued, all the staff stopped to talk to her and they are also very welcoming to myself, the family and even the dog! I have never felt in the way and know I can come any time.

Ty Enfys is a truly exceptional care home. My cousin was a resident there for over 20 months until his passing two weeks ago. I cannot fault in any way the care and consideration he received. He suffered from dementia and lived to be almost 94. From reception to nursing and admin staff, we found kindness, dignity and consideration by all. The accommodation is clean and welcoming, the food is varied and good. I would recommend this home to anybody seeking care for their loved ones.

My relative is treated with the utmost respect, compassion, dignity and sensitivity. The care staff and housekeeping staff have taken the trouble to get to know my relative, and I see evidence of person-centred care each and every time I visit. The lifestyle coordinator puts in an impressive degree of effort and thought into providing appropriate. Relevant and purposeful activities that also manage to avoid being childish. The environment is spotlessly clean and the menu is varied and appetising. The care here is outstanding. As a relative, the support I've received from the hands-on carers, receptionists, housekeeping staff and nurses has been wonderful.

Ty Enfys is definitely the best choice we could have made for Mum. She is happy, attends every activity provided and enjoys them all. So much better than being on her own in her house. All staff are caring just like they are looking after one of their own family member. It's very well maintained, clean, bright and just a wonderful care home. Well done to you all.

We definitely made the right choice in choosing Ty Enfys as a home for my mum - not just a home but a 'home from home. All the staff in all roles are welcoming and understanding. The provision of care and facilities run smoothly and it's easy to find someone to help or assist if necessary. Compassionate, skilled and proud of what they do is how I'd sum up the staff team. The management are always evident and spot the details that make a difference. I know I can visit at anytime and feel supported to ensure mum has a high quality of life.

Ty Enfys is a wonderful and very comfortable care home. My husband has been in Ty Enfys for a few weeks and during that time the care, compassion and kindness shown to my husband and our family and friends visiting has been immeasurable. Completely satisfied with Ty Enfys Care Home. The care and dedication of the staff is outstanding. I will always be grateful for the time the staff give to the residents to make their lives comfortable and happy. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

After a stressful few weeks in hospital we moved Mum to Ty Enfys. From the moment she got there, the care and attention given by every member of the team has been absolutely amazing. You can really see how much everyone cares for the residents and it really does put our minds at ease knowing how well Mum is being looked after. If I could give six stars I would and would recommend Ty Enfys unreservedly. Thank you.
