My mother in law is in palliative care and is being wonderfully looked after. She loves the food and having a restaurant downstairs is a huge plus (although she can't get down there now). The staff are friendly and seem to genuinely work well together. It's a lovely environment to be in for family
as well as the resident.

My mother has recently moved to the home and has settled in quickly. The staff are extremely caring and have adapted to meet mum's needs perfectly. The home is a welcoming place to visit, and the staff are very welcoming and friendly when I visit. The home is clean and cosy and has a lovely
restaurant for mealtimes. Visitors are always welcome to visit residents in the lounge or in the bar area as they choose.

My mum is on palliative care, and as a result of the kind staff, excellent food and first class attention has been doing well. I am so impressed with the time staff give residents, the bespoke food my mum needs at this stage and the care all staff show for the family visiting. Most importantly, the
staff contact us with any concerns so we are fully aware of how she is doing. The management are fantastic, and the transition into the home was stress free, and mum from the beginning was so well cared for and felt welcome.

My father went in to the care home for palliative care and was there for two weeks. The home provided a high standard of care and treated my father with respect and dignity. The staff were all very friendly and always made us as a family very welcome. As a qualified nurse I would have liked to have
been involved more in my father's care, I had nursed him at home and he allowed me to do it previously. I was asked to wait outside the room when the carers were attending to him. Despite this I was very pleased with how my father was cared for and he passed away peacefully with dignity and respect. Please thank the staff of the home, they were tremendous.

My sister has been resident in your home since 12/07/25. "She is bed ridden". I was able to visit her on the 10th August 2025. I discovered that even though she had a television in her room it was not in working order. I asked 2 members of staff about the TV and they attempted to switch it on. I
would have expected a member of staff to check that the TV was in working order However, it was blatently obvious to me that it had no cable/aerial connection. I,m totally disappointed/angered that she spent approx 3 weeks in the home in isolation without any source of entertainment. Even worse I believe it borders on cruelty to have a "Non Working TV in your room". The TV has now been replaced with a smaller TV. My sister has limited vision and is only able to see with one eye, but better a small working TV than nothing.

It is so good to see my mother enjoying the company of the other residents. The care and facilities are very good. All the family think that this home is what was needed for our mother, as she was mostly on her own in her home.

Generally very good, however, there was one male carer whose attitude was not so good. This was reported a few times but the carer still remained with my father.

I am extremely happy with the care my mother is receiving. The home is always spotless and no sign of urine smelled. Always fresh and this is something I have observed in other homes not to be. So 10/10 from me. The staff are hard working, very kind and patient. Cannot do enough for the residents.
The sounds of laughter as they engage with residents. In a perfect world, there could be more staff but with the staffing levels they have, they are doing an incredible job.

My mum passed away on 5-6-24 in St Martins Court after 9.5 years and in that she was looked after to a very high standard. The staff were so polite to mum and family and we couldn't have asked for anything better. Would recommend the home to anybody you should be very proud of the management and
staff. Thanking you.

My mother-in-law has been here since September 2023. In that time we have found all staff to be very professional in their approach. If we have had any issues the manager has always been very approachable and helpful to help us get these resolved. The home puts activities/shows on for the residents
which is great. The menu choices and food presentation is excellent. Staff always call for a monthly review which gives us peace of mind too.

My father arrived at St Martin's Court from the hospital that he had spent some weeks in. On arriving, the staff knew his needs and addressed them so attentively. The home is extremely clean and very secure, which was so important to me. Each and every member of staff was always friendly and
welcoming. In the very short time that my father was there before he passed away, a care worker there always listened to my questions and gave the answers and the care and respect my father needed. I cannot explain how grateful I am to that staff member for her care, attention and dedication to my father and her job. She is a credit at the home. Thank you so very much.

Recommend this care home 99.9% The manager is amazing; she gave me her own mobile number for direct contact. As I said, 99.9% of carers are great! Just one is so unprofessional but had a word with the manager, and the problem will hopefully be solved.
