View Full Details of Cwrt Enfys Care HomeMy mum has been a resident since May 2022. Since my mum's admission to Cwrt Enfys Care Home the care & support given to my mum has been second to none. My mum is a resident at Ty Enfys & needs 24 hour nursing care as she has complex needs. The staff always treat her with respect & dignity at all times. I can't thank the entire staff enough & for this I will always be grateful. Also as far as cleanliness the whole home is absolutely spotless. I also write my review on behalf of my Dad who is 96 years of age soon & he is more than grateful for all the care my mother receives.
She well cared for. Staff are very supportive and interactive with patients/residents. Always keep us informed if something is wrong and provide a good report. We are very grateful for all the staff do here.
My mum and dad are both residents here at Cwrt Enfys. They were made to feel extremely welcome and both shared a room together as their bedroom and also as a living room until my dad deteriorated and went across to the nursing side. The staff are always polite, professional and extremely accomodating. Both my parents seem very happy here.
Needs to be more activities everyday to keep minds stimulated, and a list of the activities given to residents each day, for them to be aware of what is available to them each day, and to take part in. Also visits from Clergy on a regular basis to be able to give communion.
The care my mother is getting at Cwrt Enfys is fantastic. The staff on the dem floor are amazing. They are so caring with the residents. I often see them spending time chatting and laughing with the old people. They are extremely caring & professional. they aim to keep the residents happy, comfortable & content all the time. Those care staff are ex.
My dad had fallen 4 times in 10 weeks at this home the last one he fallen out of bed onto a hard floor which resulted in a broken hip and currently still in hospital after a op. I made many complaints over his care he was in nursing dementia so should have had highly trained staff watching out for him, other family members also visited often always something wrong on 1 occasion his toenails were so long his nail had split in 2 he was wearing some other persons shoes 3 sizes to small not once but a few times i pointed this out nothing was done as we had to go hunting for my dads slippers. Very under staffed in my opinion the lounge area had at least 20 residents sometimes more each time i visited but only 2 carers in view, fights broke out often. We had to get a carer to help the residents on different 3 occasions. My dads room was very small and gloomy nothing like the photos advertised. Although some staff members seemed eager to help my dad, others did not.
My husband had a fall whilst in Enfys Fach broke his hip and spent 4 weeks in Hospital. He was found to have a severe pressure sore on his heel which the home claimed happened in the ambulance but this has been disputed by the hospital. His feet were in a very poor state due to the lack of chiropody and the home said they had been let down by their provider of this service. Cleaning and poor hygiene are also an issue and no provision is being made for updating or maintenance. Furniture in the dining/lounge area is in a poor condition. Given the cost of the the top up fees do not consider this home.
My wife has been a resident here for 3 months prior to taking respite visits over the last two years. During the respite visits, it soon became obvious to me that Cwrt Enfys was a very special place full of very special people providing a very high level of care. It also came across as a friendly place so I had no hesitation in admitting my wife permanently. Now visiting every day I see firsthand and more frequently the high level of care from all Departments as her needs are all attended to in a very loving caring manner. For my part, it is always a pleasure and a privilege to be amongst all the special people here whom I look upon as my friends who have made me very welcome into the family atmosphere that prevails at Cwrt Enfys. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for looking after my wife and making myself so welcome. Roy Edwards
I travel with my husband to visit my Mum every 4-6 weeks or as often as we can from Ireland. Mum has been on the 1st floor now for well over two years, each time we visit we find her room and herself clean, and safe and her needs met by the wonderful team of care staff that are usually very busy but always have time for a chat about Mum if we need to. We always have a pleasant welcome on our visits which means so much as we find our visits sometimes emotional as our Mum's Dementia and health issues cause her to become more dependent. Thank you so much for all you do for Mum and the work you commit to. Take Care of yourselves.
I can't give enough thanks to all the staff for the excellent care they gave my sister. She was always treated with great respect and they did everything possible to ensure she was comfortable. We were always made very welcome when we visited. They listened and answered all our enquiries. Whenever it was possible they made sure that my sister could be included in activities. We all had confidence that my sister was being cared for by wonderful staff and will always be thankful to them.
I would like to thank all the care, nursing, maintenance, kitchen, entertainment and office staff for all the wonderful care and comfort they have given to my mother and our family. The care and attention was above and beyond. They have made my mother feel like it was her home she was living in and they were her family. I cannot begin to tell you what attention to detail they provide it’s the little things they do. My mother was so very ill this week, but every time they came into the room they addressed her and called her name. They have gone through this journey with us and have made the difficult, task bearable by holding us up when we have been at our lowest. They have offered a friendly smile, a shoulder and have talked us through everything. I will never be able to thank this team enough, but I would love them to be commended for their excellence. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
My mother stayed at Cwrt Enfys for two weeks of respite care in May. She was a little apprehensive, however, any fears were dispelled by the care and reassurance given by the staff. She thoroughly enjoyed her stay and made many new friends. I want to thank all the staff at Cwrt Enfys for their care and support.
My mother is a resident of Cwrt Enfys Care Home and we are very happy with how she is cared for by all the staff. Our concerns are always listened to and we feel comfortable talking with the staff and raising any queries we have as they are always dealt with accordingly and we are always felt at ease. Also, the manager is always available to help when needed as well as the lady in reception who is always happy to help and they all deserve awards.
A very relaxed atmosphere when visiting, which has an anytime policy. There is always a member of staff at hand if needed. A good standard of care, with respect and dignity. We are always contacted if needed and feel the home communicates well.
I find the care and attention given to my mother are usually of a high standard. There have been occasions where there have been shortfalls but the staff have been open in acknowledging that if we have brought it to their attention and they have tried to make sure that it is remedied. It has now been her home for more than eight years.
Cwrt Enfys Care Home has been excellent to my mother since she broke her hip in a recent fall. The care and attention has been 10/10 even getting my mother involved in the activities. Hope that everything can continue to make my mother's enjoyment continue at the good old age of 98. Well done.
I have always found the staff to be excellent in dealing with my mother and are always friendly and energetic not just for the residents but also towards the visitors to the unit. The cleanliness is excellent and the rooms are well equipped.
My mother is a resident of Cwrt Enfys Care Home and has dementia. The overall care she receives is excellent and fully praise the care staff who work way beyond their job title and are so deserving of a higher pay wage to reflect their commitment to keeping my mother safe and well. When we chose to place mam with you we were assured there would be lots of interaction with the entertainment team however where this was the case it now seems to have deteriorated. I am told there are only three people employed to provide activities for the whole of Cwrt Enfys with approx 100 patients, this is unfair to the team and unreasonable expectations. Can this be addressed as it has a knock-on effect on the residents who so desperately need this interaction.
Cwrt Enfys is always warm and welcoming. Staff are courteous and professional and caring to residents. The staff make the residents feel at home. Any concerns that arise are dealt with quickly and contact outside surgeries where required.
Resident health Issues can be slow in being resolved however things do usually get resolved within a reasonable period of time. The senior care staff are always available if we need to ask about their issues. We appreciate the time and care that is given to the resident.
