My mother has been in the care home for 3 years now and has been well looked after by staff. I feel the food is a bit questionable often cold or overcooked. I would like a bit more feedback I've been told they would email photos but this has never happened. Overall very happy with service provided.

I have attended at the care home at various times and days and have always found the care given to all residents to be exemplary. There is always some form of entertainment and the activities are engaging and stimulating for all residents. Family members are welcome at any time and receive excellent
support from staff. My mother is always clean and tidy, as is her bedroom.

Could not praise the staff enough. They go above and beyond taking care of my husband. It's been 2 years since my husband arrived at the home and he settled in straight away.

Cannot praise the staff enough, they take the time to talk to Jim and make him feel comfortable and safe at all times.

My mum has had a fantastic experience since coming to live at Douglas View. She participates in activities which she enjoys and meet her needs. A highlight is being able to have her hair done by the hairdresser! We are always greeted with a smile by all staff. The activities team are fabulous at
getting Mum out and about and getting to know her as a person.

My sister in law has been well cared for in this home the staff are very attentive and caring. They have many activities and music events for the residents.

My mother has been well looked after in this nursing home. The staff are amazing and its well kept clean. The have brilliant entertainment for the resident every week.

All the staff have been nice, helpful and always have time for a little chat. The top floor corner is far too small. Why not open mid-corridor door at pool table so residents can go for a wander up and down the corridor. Food basic, cheap bread for sandwiches. Cakes are nice.

Mum always receives exactly the care she needs. The staff treat her like family and truly make her feel at home.

My brother-in-law has settled well in Douglas View over the last 3 months. They have cared for him well and made him very welcome. He classes it now as his family.

We were quite hesitant regarding our relative having to get cared for outside of the family but since day one coming into the premises and meeting the staff and some of the residents we were overjoyed by the atmosphere, the attention the staff gave each person and the cleanliness of the whole place.

I am reasonably happy with my dad's care. He seems content even at this stage in his life 'end of life' care. Dad says he enjoys the food and never complains.
Thank you for all the love and support you give my dad - he is very precious.

My husband has settled well in Douglas View. He eats well, sleeps well, and enjoys the events the home puts on.

My relative has been living at Douglas View for the past 2 years. The staff interact with her very well. There are lots of activities to keep her entertained.

Douglas View is a kind, caring environment, and myself and my family are happy with the ongoing care my mum is receiving.

The home is exactly that. A home where we come and visit mum and her friends. Her friends are the other residents who share her 'lounge' space. It's also the amazing staff who genuinely care for mum. The decor has been refreshed, and it is beautiful. its very satisfying to know your mother is safe
and happy. What more can we ask for.

My mum has been well taken care of with all the staff. We couldn't wish for a better place for her in her later years of her life. I am very pleased we chose this care home.
