Mum has lived at Bridgeview for just over a year now and from then we have all been treated with the utmost care and compassion.
The staff are first class - friendly, caring, and always willing to go the extra mile.
Mum is very well cared for, is always clean and well presented and enjoys her
interactions with the staff.
Activities happen every day and she is never bored.
Communication is very good and we are kept up to date with any health issues when they arise.
My mind is at rest knowing that Mum is in the best place for her.
The social media page is great as we can see what is going on every day.
I would not hesitate to highly recommend Bridgeview to anyone looking for care for their
relative.
Thank you to all staff.

Mum has resided in Bridge View House Care Home for almost 2 years now.
Whilst we would all wish to remain in our own homes as life goes on, sometimes that is not possible - finding Bridge View has been a God send for Mum and her family.
She continues to be happy and content, with lots of
interaction and activities with staff and other residents.
Her health and ailment requirements are attended to respectfully, and professionally, and staff are also open to family suggestions and observations, should they occur.
Mum's eating and diet sometimes needs altering and encouraging. Staff are vigilant, and flexible to her needs.
With another festive period on its way, the communal areas are being decorated by residents with the help and encouragement of staff. Arts and Crafts, flower arranging, tree decorating, games and Festive TV.
Thank you all at Bridge View House Care Home X

Dad has Alzheimer's and joined the residents at Bridgeview late this year. He seems very settled and enjoys the many activities that are organised by the amazing staff.
The whole atmosphere at Bridgeview is a very positive one and a credit to all the staff.
The residents clearly benefit from the
happy and relaxed environment.

My Mum moved to Bridge View House over a year ago and has settled in really well. She is happy and has made some good friends there. The team is fantastic - very caring and go the extra mile to make sure Mum has what she needs and what works for her. They take time to sit down with her and chat,
often over a cup of tea.
I look forward to reading the newsletter every month and to see Mum and her friends enjoying the activities on offer. Jade and the team do an awesome job and their door is always open for families to talk, provide feedback, and help arrange specific activities or surprises for Mum.
I live overseas so I am not able to visit Mum as regularly as I'd like. Knowing that Mum is getting the best possible care, is happy at Bridge View House, and in safe hands, is very reassuring and gives me peace of mind.
Keep up the fabulous work.

My father moved into Bridge View in July this year. He had been in hospital for 3 months and was quite disorientated when he first arrived. He took a few days to settle in. His original room was not ideal with a lot of movement and noise outside and we requested that he could be moved if another
room became available which happened very quickly. Dad settled much better in this room and it was much more suited to him.
The staff are all very caring and friendly and Dad always looks clean, well cared for and encouraged to sit in his chair or go to another area in the home ( he rarely cooperates but is at least given the opportunity!) There have been periods where his appetite is not very good and he is encouraged to try and eat something at mealtimes or is offered a snack out with mealtimes.
His room is bright and warm and he has regular attention throughout the day. There have been few difficulties but if anything has arisen I have been informed by telephone. Very happy with care.

Bridgeview is simply first class. The hard-working, dedicated, friendly, caring staff are the best. Exactly like a second family, which is incredible. From the nursing staff to the care home assistants, cooks, technicians and cleaners. Every one is caring, compassionate, fun, loving and highly
professional. They are, indeed, an elite team. I have absolute peace of mind and one hundred percent confidence in the fact that my precious mama receives superlative care, on a daily basis. Thank you
Management are lots of fun and are continually making improvements to the home and introducing innovative ideas and resources with the residents. They always encourage loved ones to engage with the home and have an open door policy for any communication.
The regular, fun, fantastic varied activities and events that the home host are simply wonderful. I have many cherished video and photo memories of myself and my mama at a range of these events.
Bridgeview - simply the best!

My Aunty Helen spent her last days at Bridge View House and her care was exemplary
The efforts that staff went to to try and include her in activities and get a smile on her face were heart warming
The sense of warmth and care extended to Helen was a great comfort to her but also to her family
who due to distance and health issues could not visit. The posts and piccies really made us all smile and we could see she was happy
Thank you Bridge View House and all your caring staff xxx

Mum spent her last years in the professional care of the team at Bridge View. The staff were well trained, caring and always strived to to provide the best for all of the residents. Manicures, hair styling, visiting musicians, dancers, craft, flower arranging - they even had Shetland ponies
visiting the residents' rooms. Everything was spotlessly clean and the rooms and corridors had a fresh smell to them, unlike other homes I have visited in the past. Mum's room was extra large with two windows and an ensuite shower room. It was beautifully decorated, well maintained and extremely comfortable.
She had started to eat properly and joined in the activities until her dementia finally got too much in her final few months. The staff ensured that she was treated with the utmost dignity and respect, providing the family with regular updates as her condition deteriorated.
We could not have found a better way to help Mum live a safe and dignified life in her last two years.

We are, as a family, overjoyed to have mum in a safe, clean and secure home at last. She is happy again and engaging with the other residents, making new friends.
The staff are skilled, kind and focused on the comfort and wellbeing of all the residents. We can praise Bridge View enough, not only
for mums care but in their continued support of the wider family. 5 stars!

Staff are kind, caring and considerate.
Nothing is too much trouble for them. As a family we are reasured that Mum is in good hands.
She has her hair done at the hairdresser, takes part in lots of activities and enjoys a drink from "the bar".
The care is first class.

My brother was a resident in Bridgeview Care Home for almost a year. The staff were amazing. One of the Nurses, carers, cleaning and laundry staff always had a word for him. Lovely to deal with. They kept him clean and his room/shower room was cleaned regularly.
Thank you all so much.

I have lived at Bridge View for 2 years. The home is to me friendly and lovely place to live. Most of the staff are so considerate and helpful. I love our beautiful garden, our home has had a rough time but thanks to our new manager it's on the up and is a happy place to be.

My mum moved up to Dundee from England and into Bridge View at the start of the year to be close to me and my brother. From the initial contact with the team at Bridge View to mum moving in was faultless. All of the care staff on the ground floor, the nurses and the care team are fantastic with mum
and the family. They are always ready to listen and act on any concerns and they will go above and beyond to help. The management team are always available if there are any issues and they have been very supportive throughout mums move. There is always something going on for the residents, be it games in the lounge, weekly "pub quiz" or a sing along with the different singers that come to entertain. The food in Bridge View is varied and looks great and again if mum wants something different all she need do is ask. Mum seems to have settled in and importantly she is happy.

Putting Mum into care was one of the hardest decisions we've ever faced. After visiting many homes, Bridge View stood out immediately for its warmth, comfort, and genuine care. Since moving in, we've been reassured time and again that we made the right choice. The staff are friendly, compassionate,
and truly go above and beyond to help Mum feel settled, safe, and valued. The atmosphere is joyful and lively, with a fantastic range of activities-Mum especially loves the bowling, live music, and quizzes. Special thanks to the amazing manager, whose caring leadership sets the tone for the whole home. He makes us feel supported and involved in every step of Mum's care. The facilities are spotless, the garden is peaceful, and communication with families is excellent. We finally have peace of mind knowing Mum is in such loving, capable hands. Thank you to everyone at Bridge View for making such a difficult journey easier, and for the outstanding care and kindness you provide every day

Staff are amazing and cared for dad as if he was their own parent/grandparent. Every level of staff knew his name and his moods and routines. He was always treated with respect and always clean and tidy when I saw him no matter when I arrived. Dad often spent days in bed but he was still washed,
shaved and had clean pyjamas and bedding every day.
The food always looked appealing and always had something dad would like. If he didn't like the meal of the day there were always other options available.
There are activities every day morning and afternoon and staff always on hand to help residents with challenging activities. Dad enjoyed some trips out for meals/coffee etc.
I definitely recommend Bridgeview

Dad moved to Bridge View House Care Home in February 2024. He’s experienced significant health and mobility decline in a very short time, so readjusting to this and his new home is very hard for him. The nursing care to get the correct mix of medication to manage pain and alert and awake has been
exemplary. Every single team member has taken time and is still taking time to get to know him and support him. Nothing is too much trouble and the attention to provide individual care and attention is excellent. My dad greets some of the team like his grandkids, he loves seeing them and when he is welcomed back in after a day out, he genuinely feels the “love” which is reassuring for us, as a family. The team have set a high bar and our expectations are high because of the great job they have done in this short space of time.

Our stepdad thought of Bridgeview as his home, the manager and her team gave him excellent care.
Such a friendly care home, staff so approachable with any worries we had, and nothing was too much trouble, it gave us peace of mind to know he was very well cared for.

Bridge View became my dad’s home in September 2023. The staff have taken time to get to know him (and us) to meet his needs. He took very unwell last week and the nurses and care staff took such good care of him and supported him to make a full recovery. The deputy manager is so approachable and has
answered any questions I’ve had. I work in the care sector and am aware of the expected standards and can highly recommend Bridge View.

care was very high. Having worked many homes myself, it was the hardest decision ever but Bridge View House was an excellent choice.
