View Full Details of Beechill Care HomeMy mum spent just over a year at this lovely home. It allowed her and my dad to focus on each other while her physical needs were attended to by the staff there and gave them a last year just to be with eachother. I am a GP with over 30 years of experience and have attended hundreds of nursing homes during my career. I have never witnessed better than Beechill. The dignity, professionalism and above all friendliness and love they showed both my parents was indescribable - words can't really do it justice. During the few times I got back to NI to see mum, staff were regularly singing as they passed her door and clearly loved their work. Several staff were with Dad and my sister at the time of her passing and weren't afraid to share their feelings and emotions with them. There was absolutely no pressure afterwards to clear mums room and my dad regularly still goes to see the staff there whom he regards as friends. Thankyou xx
My Granny was a resident at Beechill for over a year, and was looked after with so much care and attention from her first day to the last. The amazing team there worked to such a high standard while treating her with kindness and dignity, and her big smile when any of them walked in to the room made it clear this was round the clock. This was extended to my Gramps and parents who visited nearly every day, and the only (half hearted) complaint was that there were 'too many biscuits'! The team were great at communicating any changes or concerns, with solutions suggested for all. The facility itself was very well ran, immaculate at all times, and in a fantastic location. Could not recommend it and the lovely team there enough!
I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the treatment my wife received during her stay at Beechill Care Home. It was of great comfort to know that she was receiving the best possible care and attention from a committed, compassionate and conscientious staff. Being a daily visitor for well over a year, I saw at first- hand the dedication and hard work of everyone who was employed there. My wife and I were treated like we were part of their big, happy family. I have made a point of making regular visits at their invitation, as I miss the staff, and I consider them part of our family. I always make a point of singing their praises when the opportunity arises, and will continue to do so. Once again, I can't thank you enough for everything, and hope to see you again soon.
I cannot praise and thank all the staff enough for the lovely care, warmth and attention they showed my Mum. Nothing was a problem to them. My Mum was always smiling and laughing when she was in contact with any staff member. She was treated with dignity and respect as if she was a close family member, right up to the day she passed. Some off the staff were even at her bedside when she slipped away. We were always kept informed of any concerns they may have had with Mum's health, and were quick to offer resolutions. The nursing care is fantastic! My father visited every day and was always spoiled with cups of tea and biscuits. We have made some life long friends and we've been back to visit these wonderful people and will stay in touch. The home itself was always clean and fresh and is in a great location with wonderful views of the city. P.S. Please keep me a spot if required xx Thanks for all you do.
My mother-in-law has been at Beechill Care Home for six months. The staff are dedicated and caring. My mother-in-law had a very bad leg skin condition when she arrived. They showered her every day, applied cream and her legs are in very good condition now. I couldn't say enough about the staff at the home. We know she is being well cared for.
My great-uncle was in Beechill Care Home for a few years and suffered with dementia. I was pleased with the care and support he and we received throughout his stay. We were contacted immediately if there were changes to his medication, food and moods or if a doctor was called to attend to him. I cannot fault the staff or management in any way, they were exceptional. I was always called by name when I visited and the staff treated him with dignity. Even when he died, management and staff alike offered their sympathy to us and that was much appreciated.
My husband, the patient, has been very unsettled and difficult to manage. He is perhaps beginning to settle, Staff have been very patient and kind towards him. They have also been very patient and welcoming to extended family members, including the pet dog. His children and grandchildren hope to see him soon.
Very homely and welcoming home. Staff excellent and caring with great attention to detail.
My husband was in Beechill Care Home from March 2020 to October 2023. During this time, he received tremendous support in terms of the utmost care and attention provided by the most diligent, hardworking and professional staff. They treated my husband with the greatest dignity, and nothing was ever too much bother for them. When I visited, they also treated me like part of their family, ensuring I was kept up to date with any concerns involving my husband. I can only say the greatest words for this care home, who deserve recognition for their caring of the highest standard.
My father was in Beechill Care Home from January to August 2023. Throughout his time there he received the very best of care. The staff were always very professional, treated Dad with great respect and their communication with us was excellent. We were always made to feel very welcome, no matter when we called and the atmosphere was always warm and cheerful.
I have to commend the staff in this care home. My mother has been there since May 2019 and has been looked after with respect and the highest level of care. She is currently bedridden and with very little communication. Yet, they still take time to engage with her, celebrating her birthday with a cake and song. I cannot recommend this home enough. The work they do is outstanding. My mother is well looked after and is in excellent hands - something we as a family could not do. Thank you.
I am very happy with the care my aunt is getting. The staff are very caring and welcoming to her family. They implemented great care during Covid.
My mother has been resident in Beechill for four years and has always received excellent care. The staff are very attentive and caring and always keep me informed of anything concerning her.
My husband has been a resident since April 2022. The staff are very caring and reassuring. He is always neatly dressed and clean-shaven. The care home is situated in a very pleasant residential area and is spotlessly clean. The level of care provided is excellent.
I feel that the staff are very helpful and the food is very good. Help is given when needed. Staff are very good.
Well, run home with friendly efficient staff. Nothing is too much trouble and my mother is well looked after and I am happy with the care she receives. I am informed weekly/daily of my mother's progress.
Very professional and friendly team who always do their best to look after my Mum. Their attention to detail regarding her overall care is impressive and, as a result, she is very settled and content.
My Dad has been in Beechill Care Home for over two years. He is completely bed bound but is always treated with respect and dignity by the staff. The home is always very clean and the rooms well maintained. The staff are helpful and friendly. The home is easy to access and has good parking. It is located in a nice and quiet residential area.
We as a family are so pleased with the care and attention given to my father in Beechill Care Home. We are notified if they are at all concerned about him. It gives us peace of mind to know he is so well cared for.
Mum's decline into dementia has led to some challenging behaviour but the staff at Beechill have always been sympathetic and caring in response. They have always contacted us with any issues and are able to provide a regular account of Mum's progress or concerns. I am confident that she is in the best of care.
