Always find home very welcoming and helpful if any questions. Staff are all very good at their jobs. Makes stay less stressfull for family as this is first time we ever had this experience.

My mum is a resident at the home, she has had a stroke and has dementia. The care she receives in this home is fantastic. They are treated so well, very caring staff. They also are kept entertained which I feel is very important. Great home.

Mum was in the care of Galgorm for the last few months of her life. We found her caring and everyone connected with her care to be very good. We were always informed of any changes to her health and if needed to be taken to hospital we were informed immediately, overall care very good.

Placing our mum in a care home was probably one of the hardest decisions my family has ever had to make, and choosing the best home available was our top priority. We were lucky to find a room for Mum in Galgorm Care Home and she has never looked back. The care and attention she receives from the nursing staff, the caring staff, the admin staff and everyone else concerned with her care is absolutely first-class. The atmosphere in the home is so friendly and someone is always at hand should they be required. The activities arranged for the residents is very impressive and hats off to the personnel responsible for this. In summary, the hardest decision our family ever had to make has turned out to be the best decision we ever made. Placing Mum in Galgorm Care Home has given us the peace of mind we were looking for in the knowledge that our loved one is receiving the care and respect that she deserves in her twilight years. A massive thank you to all at Galgorm Care Home.

I have to say that the team at Galgorm Care Home have been absolutely amazing looking after my mummy! They have all gone above and beyond in every way the staff are so friendly and caring and you can really see the connection the staff have with the residents! My mummy was really worried about going into a care home but since then she has seen that there is fun laughter and a bit of carry-on with plenty of entertainment for the residents and families with the children from the schools coming in and singing to the dressing and tea parties! I honestly can’t rate this home enough! Thank you Galgorm Care Home.

From the day we went to check out Galgorm Care Home for my aunt until now (thankfully my aunt is now a resident) as a family, we could not wish for better treatment. When we leave after our visits, we're so comforted to know that every member of staff cares for and loves my aunt. She is so happy... always has a smile on her face and her eyes are as bright as buttons. We cannot reiterate enough how caring and committed to residents' needs and their happiness every member of staff is. The care home is spotless and the food is amazing. The fact that there is stimulation and loads of events laid on is amazing... the residents are not sitting from morning to their bedtimes doing nothing or feeling lonely... we couldn't wish for our aunt to be anywhere else in this stage of her life. Well done to every single member of staff... we all truly appreciate every single thing you do for our aunt. Thank you so much!

In general, care given to my aunt is good. Effort is made to meet her taste, food-wise. Staff are friendly and courteous. Take the time to have a chat as she does not want to go outside of her room. Rooms are clean and tidy. Plenty of activities if she is willing to participate. Overall one of the better care homes we as a family have experienced.

I have found the staff to be caring and knowledgeable in my mother's care. My experience is positive when I visit. Staff are always friendly and polite. The same staff have worked in the home since my mother's admission, which is a good sign, continuity of care. Unable to score for facilities, food and drink as I have not been inside the home for over a year due to covid restrictions.

A care home is only as good as it's staff, and during my wife's (terminal) stay in Galgorm Care Home, the staff were excellent. Although most were young, they were caring and dedicated, and nothing was too much trouble. There was a daily activity programme suited to the needs of the residents. The food was of a high standard and varied. Although the building itself is old, the care given is first-rate.

I am next of kin to a lady in Galgorm Care Home. The staff from the kitchen staff, care assistants and nursing staff are fantastic. They all go over and about their jobs to make this lady feel at home and loved. The staff have even brought items like knitting needles and wool out of their own wages to keep this lady occupied. I could recommend this home to anyone for all the care they dive to the residents.

All aspects of my father's well being are well catered for from all the staff at his home. Food is great, wide and varied, even making something for each individual person. I see this as I see the care that is taken at supper time every day.

This is a great home with a good team working in it, my mum is very happy here and she knows all the girls from 2 previous stays at Galgorm. We feel she is safe here and happy. The rooms are well kept and tidy and mum loves the company of people speaking in as they pass by her door. Highly recommend.

I've been going into this home to see my mum for the past year and have always found it to be friendly and nice. Always helpful. Time to talk to me. Mums care is good, she is content and happy and that is all that matters. I've no complaints about the home.

The home has provided all aids necessary e.g Crash mat and alarm. All staff are very patient and tolerant with her, as she has dementia. They have got to know about her upbringing and life and would encourage her to talk about her life. Not only that they have got to know all of us as a family. When I visit it is like visiting mum at her home.
