I can not speak highly enough of Somerton Private Nursing Home. The levels of care and support my Mother has received is incredible. From day one the staff who are so friendly and 100% professional at all times have truly delivered the best of care to my Mum, she is really happy in Somerton. You hear some bad reports about care homes but this place is fantastic - ten out of ten.

My wife has more than settled in at Somerton she is content and happy with the arrangements in the nursing home. The members of staff and management are always very helpful and caring. On our visits we are always made to feel very welcome on each and every occasion.

Excellent service, staff are like family to our aunt. Very caring home and lovely surroundings, very happy to see my aunt content and happy here. Would be nice if chair exercises and physiotherapy was introduced to the home as would greatly benefit the residents.

From the outset, we find the staff friendly, welcoming and attentive. They encourage independence and communication, so we are assured that my parents are relaxed, safe and enjoying the variety of activities and the food. We would like to thank all the staff at Somerton for their support and attention to detail.

From the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave, I am impressed. All the colleagues are friendly and clearly care. The posts on social media are excellent and show the extent the team go to make our loved ones settled. First-class establishment and team.

My father is very well cared for in Somerton Private Nursing Home and is treated like family. We are able to come and go as much as we want and bring him out for the day/dinner every day.

The staff are very, very friendly. My mother has greatly improved since moving here. This is the third home for my mother and definitely by far the best.

Both my parents have been cared for in this care home. The family has been very pleased with the quality of care. The atmosphere is calm, the residents seem content. I have been visiting for over 5 years and have never heard a staff member raise their voice to a resident.

Somerton Care Home is the best care home I have ever experienced, I was always so worried but seeing how much my nanny is settled and happy is such a relief for me. The staff are always so lovely and caring towards everyone, they always do things with the residents which is great to see. I just love how happy my nanny is which is so the most important thing.

My nanny needed 24-hour care after an admission to hospital and we had to source a care home that met her needs. This was ours, as a family, and my nanny’s first experience of this process. Somerton have been absolutely wonderful with my nanny. They are so respectful, kind and compassionate. They take the time to get to know my nanny, her likes, her dislikes. They manage her anxieties or stresses and have an unbelievable sense of compassion for the residents under their care. From the manager, to the nurses, care assistants, activity coordinator and all other staff - they all have my nanny's best interests at heart and have truly been wonderful. In their care, my nanny is getting back to Nanny and she is thriving. We as a family will be forever grateful for the support they have gave us as a family and my nanny. It has been the best choice for us and the support she needed at the time she needed it. Not one member of staff isn’t engaging and welcoming. It is a wonderful home.

I highly recommend this nursing home. After debating for a while whether to place my grandmother into care, I eventually chose Somerton. All of the staff are great, the care she receives is fantastic and more importantly my grandmother is happy. Any issues that arise I am made aware of straight away. I couldn't have chosen a better place for my grandmother.

I am happy with the staff and the way they look after all the men and women in their care. They also are very friendly and helpful if you have any questions.

I am delighted with the standard of care my mother has received since becoming a resident at Somerton. She has flourished, gained weight and seems a lot happier and more at peace. She loves the activities and singsong. The staff are brilliant with her and go the extra mile at all times.

My father has been a resident for four months. The nursing home staff are always very welcoming. The manager and the nursing staff keep us well-informed about my father's care and are always available to answer any questions we may have. The care staff are always very approachable and helpful. The activities are well organised by the very caring coordinator, and I enjoy seeing the photos on the relative's Facebook page.

All staff are very caring and attentive and look after Uncle very well. Plenty of activities and games to keep him occupied. Always kept informed.

My father has been a resident for four months. The nursing home staff are always very welcoming. The manager and the nursing staff keep us well-informed about my father's care and are always available to answer any questions we may have. The care staff are always very approachable and helpful.
