The staff in Rockfield are very professional, kind and caring. My mum was treated with the utmost respect at all times. The nurses, care assistants, domestics, kitchen staff and staff who looked after entertainment and beauty treatments were all lovely and treated my mum with great respect. The
building and rooms were very clean and food was delicious for my mum.

My mother was a resident here from 7th April 2025- 3rd Aug 2025, when she sadly passed away. The staff in Rockfield treated my mum with the utmost care and respect while she was there. They were gentle + kind towards her and also to our entire family. All staff, in all departments played a part in
making her comfortable and well fed. The building is maintained to a high standard. We would recommend Rockfield to anyone needing a nursing home.

I visited my mother last night (Sunday 18th January) and found her hanging out of her bed in a dishevelled manner, she had been lying like that for over 30 minutes until I arrived. The staff who are, supposedly, to be "taking care" of her had not checked her for more than half an hour. They were
"busy doing nothing" when I walked in. This is not the first time I have found my frail, elderly mother in such a state. I have noticed other residents who have been largely ignored and overlooked in a similar state. At almost £1000 per week this is an absolutely indubitable disgrace and a shocking state of affairs! I will be complaining in the strongest possible manner to all the owners and senior staff in Rockfield. I will NEVER accept such maltreatment of my mother. Another point is the sub standard state of some of the food dished out for my mother to eat. Prison inmates are treated better!

My mother is very comfortable in the home. The staff are very helpful and always on hand. We can come and go as we please to see her plus take her out for the odd spin. A very well run and managed well.

Rockfield Care home,Is in my opinion excellent.
Their caring is top,they go above and beyond for their residents.At Christmas time,the atmosphere was so homely ,lots of entertainment,parties ,singalongs,choirs singing,it was brilliant

Since my mother arrived at Rockfield in the August of this year we have been very happy with her level of care. We have found the staff to be caring, accommodating and helpful.
My mother says the food is always lovely and the staff team are friendly. It's very difficult and concerning when it
comes to finding the right place for your loved one. We are confident we have found the right place.

My mother received the absolute best care possible during her time in Rockfield Care Home. The level of care and compassion shown towards her was outstanding from each and every member of staff. I would find it difficult to fault any of the departments. The auxiliary staff, nurses, care assistants,
cleaning staff, kitchen staff and not least the management who all made a point of getting to know her personally. Her likes and dislikes and helping make her feel welcome and safe during her stay in Rockfield. I found Rockfield to be a warm, welcoming environment with good facilities and well equipped individual rooms with a high level of cleanliness throughout. There was also great regular entertainment for the residents. The level of professionalism from all staff in caring for the residents and their individual needs with dignity and discretion was exceptional. I can honestly say that I would recommend Rockfield Care Home to everyone.

The staff are very attentive to residents and have great patience.There is plenty of entertainment - tea parties, BBQs and afternoon tea. Food is always plentiful and I have been offered tea/coffee any time it is available. Always made to feel welcome and relieved that mummy is happy and cared for

During my mothers stay in Rockfield Care Home she experienced excellent 24 hours nursing care, daily interactions with multiple staff member and residents, and excellent food daily. She got great enjoyment from the music sessions and regularly having a manicure. She was very happy and contented
throughout her stay. My family will be forever grateful for the care and attention she received.

A huge thank you to the Home Manager and the team of nurses and carers who looked after my husband with the best palliative care we could wish for.
During his time at Rockfield he was happy and content and the team working in conjunction with his GP and community palliative nursing team kept him
comfortable safe and relatively pain free.
Their total dedication was amazing and their empathy and kindness was wonderful.
During his time with Rockfield he was able to retain his dignity and he considered the staff his friends.
The facilities are excellent and the food extremely good.
They all went out of their way each day to care for him and I know he was so very grateful and became fond of everyone and he was able to enjoy the last of the time that he had.
As a family we cannot express our thanks sufficiently to the manager and all the staff who are a very special group of people.

My mum has been a resident for just over 5 and a half years. Throughout this time, she has been treated and looked after with love, respect, care, dignity and friendship second to none. We, her family have always been treated with the same kindness and warmth. Rockfield is so welcoming from the
moment you step in the front door. It is such a lovely, clean and welcoming environment and it gives families peace of mind that their loved ones are being looked after for all their needs, spiritually, emotionally, socially and physically with first class care. Every member of staff goes above and beyond their job description daily. Rockfield is indeed, a very special place for residents and their families.

I am very happy with the service provided. The care is excellent and a very high standard overall. They provide good nutritious food and the entertainment is very good and there are good activities. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and have a good rapport with the residents and

The care home have taken excellent care of my mother-in-law, especially her appearance and nutrition. They have an excellent activities programme for the residents to keep them entertained. Each time I have visited the residents look very content.
