Castle View Care Home has been taking care of Dad for the last few years. My sister and I don't live on the island and the care of Dad seems particularly important as we can't always be there. We are always greeted with a smile, a warm hello and even a hug from the wonderful staff at Castle View.
They all go the extra mile and look after Dad as if he is family to them. We couldn't be happier and are very reassured with Dads care.

This is our first Christmas with my mother in law at Castle View. It has become a second home for us. Nothing is too much trouble. All staff are kind, professional, attentive and welcoming, they always encourage us to make ourselves at home and nothing is too much trouble. The activities
co-ordinators are astounding. they are inventive, kind, hard working and warm and bring warmth and delight to all the residents and their families. The home and rooms are clean, tidy and organised. We would recommend Castle View to all our friends. They are fabulous.

We are extremely happy with the care our mum receives at Castle View Care Home. The staff are so friendly, kind and professional. We are kept updated regarding Mum's care. The environment is clean and homely and the activities provided are engaging and promote excellent socialization opportunities,
which was so important to us as a family for mum. We truly feel mum feels at home and is very well cared for.

We are visiting Castle View today for my mother's birthday. Cannot speak highly enough of the staff who did everything possible to make her birthday enjoyable. Wonderful decorations, cakes & savouries and a lovely birthday cake. And big number celebration balloons!

All the staff have been fantastic to help my dad settle into Castleview, their experience and expertise is unmatched.
From day 1 everyone's been Brilliant and show genuine care and help, even for myself to learn how to deal with difficult situations during the stages of my dads illness.

We had to find somewhere quickly to have brother looked after all the staff did a great job looking after brother he was very poorly and was looked after washed, shaved, treated with dignity in his final weeks. We visited him many times when we come over from Lancashire. Lovely kind hard working
staff who care, nothing was to much trouble for them. The reception lady was great when I spoke to her I knew it was the right place for thhim to be straight away. He passed on 7th August in Castle View at peace.

As a registered nurse (manager), I was humbled to witness the overall caring, professional, empathetic quality of care given to my mother in law in her final days. Also, the care, support provided to the family was exceptional.

The staff at Castle View are very caring and efficient. We particularly appreciate the "open door" policy and the welcome given to residents' family and friends. Their social media page is very painful and informative.

My dad has been a resident at Castle View Nursing Home since 2023. Mum visits regularly, but unfortunately, my sister and I are living in England, so our visits are periodic. Castle View has given my dad and mum love, care, smiles, plenty of laughter, and a 'new extended family' that I also get the
privilege to be a part of.
Thank you to all the staff at Castle View Peel for the time they put into both the patient and the families. It is very much appreciated!

I have found the care and attention my husband has received has been excellent. The staff are incredibly kind and efficient. Professionalism and understanding of his needs are faultless. The whole team from the carers to domestic, kitchen and laundry, amazing. Nothing is too much trouble, the
helpfulness at reception to the busy handymen and gardener/painter ensures I go home knowing my husband is in good hands.

Resident very happy. Always laughing with staff and very comfortable in environment.
Staff always ensure he has enough to eat and drink and engage him in activities regularly.
Resident had a birthday party this month and a beautiful afternoon tea was made, a private room for family and young
children thought of with games being provided.
All had a lovely time. Thank you Castle View.

My mother has been a resident at Castle View Nursing Home for the last 3 months. The staff are kind and attentive. The home is clean, well-maintained, and has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. There are plenty of activities to keep residents engaged, and communication with family members is excellent.
I would recommend Castle View Nursing Home.

The staff makes Castle View feel like a home. They always have a hug and a kind word for the residents and family members. Nothing is too much trouble. The facility is spotlessly clean and the amenities and activities are wonderful. Again, it's the staff involved with enriching the resident's lives
that makes Castle View such a special place. Thank you!

Two years as a resident, my husband is looked after so well, the staff are amazing, caring, entertaining and full of empathy. Every day is a challenge for them all and they do their absolute best, often against all odds. Dementia is the most dreadful disease but they understand the needs of both
residents and families, allowing families to live their lives knowing their loved ones are cared for well. Still feel staff need more support in so far as if they are ill themselves (bigger issues) they should be paid - loyalty deserves support.

I feel my husband is being cared for very well, his needs being accommodated. The staff are all friendly and helpful and offer support to me as well as my husband.

My mother is very well cared for and appreciated, her needs are met plus her wants. She feels at home here and I feel welcomed and cared for every time I visit. The staff are professional yet friendly and more like family. I feel reassured, when I am not on the island, that mum is in the best place
and cared for in a loving appropriate way. Thank you.

My dad only arrived at Castle View last week, but since he arrive we can not praise the care he has been given enough. All of the staff are so friendly and the way they engage with dad is lovely to see, they have fun with him too which I know he likes. This was a very hard decision for us as we did
all we could to keep dad in his own home. Dad deserves the best care possible and we know he will get that here. They have made us feel so welcome too, which helps in such a difficult time.

The review was carried out in an unhurried manner. This type of resident is in a vulnerable position and it is good to think that there is great consideration given to their welfare. It gave a good opportunity to raise any concerns which may exist, which one can only hope will be acted upon.
