Choosing Greenacres for Mum was a good decision. Mum is content and treated with kindness, dignity and respect. Her complex health needs have been managed appropriately with medical input when needed. The amazing staff have been kind and supportive, both to Mum and to me throughout a stressful
transition.
Staffing pressures are becoming more noticeable and can often affect how promptly residents' needs are met; however, any personal concerns I have raised have always been listened to and addressed professionally by the management team.
I would like to thank the entire Greenacres team for their care, commitment and ongoing support.

I have only praise for the care my mother receives at Greenacres. The staff are all helpful and extremely caring and treat the residents not only with all the care and dignity that you could hope for but seem to find time in their busy days to chat to them as if they were their own parents. The food
is always fabulous and there are always homemade cakes and puddings. My mum appears happy and relaxed and on the odd occasion when she's had a worry they ring me so I can speak to her. Thank you to you all for your continued support.

Our mum has been in Greenacres for 2 1/2 years now and has been happy there from day 1. She is in the dementia area. She is treated with care and attention, affection and dignity. There is always something going on to keep them occupied. We cannot praise the staff highly enough. We are always made
to feel welcome too.

I feel that my mum is well cared for by all the lovely staff and is in a safe place. She has lots of things to do which enhances her wellbeing.
Highly recommend for my piece of mind.
After looking at 3 care homes, Greenacres was definitely the best. Clean, bright, airy, different sides for how bad people were, different activities, a cinema room, salon, brilliant, although expensive! Mum's opinion is that the staff were good and helpful, but she had to ask for her orange that
was taken in specifically for her each day (2weeks respite). Mum wanted to come home early as the food wasn't good. A few of them complained to management after a week that they were mainly getting soup & sandwiches, and the evening meal wasn't good and not much of it/portion size. This let her respite visit down. Management didn't come back on the food.

I can totally recommend Greenacres. My mother in law came to live here at the beginning of July. She has a lovely first floor room which is tastefully decorated and furnished. She brought her own settee with her. The room overlooks a beautiful garden where residents can sit and chat. Her room also
has an en-suite wet room which is perfect.
The staff are on the ball and are very helpful, kind and approachable. Nothing is too much trouble. The kitchen provides great food, and can be eaten in the residents own room or in the spacious dining room. So far cannot find fault with Greenacres. We have peace of mind knowing that she is safe and in very capable hands.

My parents have been resident at Greenacres since June 2025. The carers are very kind and helpful, special thanks to one. The management have a very good understanding of all my parents needs, and are always very supportive. Special mentions and thanks for the front of house manager, the unit
manager and the duty manager. The home provide many activities for the residents, very well organised by the activities lady. I am very happy with Greenacres and the care my parents are receiving.

As I live a good distance away I am unable to visit my brother regularly. On the occasions I have been able to visit Greenacres I have been most impressed by the excellent standard of care and kindness shown by staff towards him and other residents. Greenacres is well designed with lovely outside
spaces to spend time with visitors. The building is modern, bright, safe and welcoming. I have regular telephone contact with staff who we always happy to update me on my brother's situation. When I visit I am relieved and re-assured that he is in the best possible place and beign cared for with dignity. I am grateful for all the care Greenacres offers and congratulate everyone involved for maintaining such high standards.

Thank you is such an inadequate work to say for the last five and a half years of care you have all given to my mum I always knew she was cared for in the most amazing way possible until her death the compassion you showed at the end of her life will never be forgotten by all of us

This was our 93 year old parents first stay in respite care and they really enjoyed it. They were treated with respect, care and dignity during the three weeks they were there. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and for us, it meant that we had no worries whilst they were there knowing that
they were being well looked after.
It was such a success, that we are hoping to repeat the experience later on in the year!

Mum was in for a short visit - respite care. She was treated with dignity & respect & received excellent care. She wasn't keen on the activities but said so & was settled somewhere else as requested. The staff have all been brilliant so a very big thank you to all involved.

Mum moved, reluctantly, to Greenacres three years ago. Gradually, with the help of all the staff, she settled into a routine which reduced her anxiety and enables her to live comfortably and safely. The food is very good which is important to Mum. Our family feel so fortunate that Mum is well cared
for at Greenacres. The staff are, without exception, kind and welcoming. Management and senior carers are professional and knowledgeable. Any (rare) concerns or questions which we have about Mum's care are always dealt with promptly and thoroughly. Greenacres work hard to maintain links with the local community and this is also something which we really appreciate.

Mum has been a resident of Greenacres for several years in the residential care unit. As a family we feel Mum is in a safe and supportive environment. Ladies have been continuous senior members of staff who we know we can contact and feel comfort in the honesty of replies. Mum has gone from Private
to Local Authority funding which from our dealings with Greenacres was seamless. The possibility of having to move Mum was removed and the stress of this disappeared.

Having visited the home at least once or twice weekly over the last 2 and a half years I have always found the staff friendly and management always respond promptly to my queries and requests. During January they tried very hard to make my friend happy, encouraging participation in many activities
including a foot spa, quizzes, singsongs even letting her help on the reception area to help her feeling of lonliness. A very caring staff.

This was our first Christmas with mum being in Greenacres and we were really worried about how it would be! Happy to say they made Christmas very special for all the residents as they do all the time lots of activities and they include everyone! They all enjoy trips out and they even took mum and
her friend to the pub! Such a special place we are lucky and mum is so happy there.
