The food here is terrible and my heating in my flat has not been working properly for 8 months and the staff don't care. The staff here just don't seem to care or use any initiative to help you. The staff don't seem to have been trained to do much at all!

My mother (97) has lived in RNC for three years. It has been the perfect place to allow her to live as independently as she wants whilst having the reassurance that there is care on hand when needed. Her flat is so spacious, light and airy, overlooking the garden.
She was taken ill recently and the
CHS staff and night staff have been amazing, they have been so caring and supportive to both mum and to me too, doing whatever they could to help without any hesitation. They are a great team.

I am 90 years of age, and have lived at Richard Newcombe Court for five years. I have a top floor two bedrooms flat overlooking a tree filled easterly facing courtyard. I came to live here mainly because of diminishing mobility problems. My personal facilities in the flat are excellent. It gives me
easy access, to all rooms. The whole flat is light, warm, and airy. I. Have access from my living room onto my personal balcony , which stretches the length of my flat, overlooks the garden , and I can sit out at a table to have tea etc..
The care staff are amazing. Well trained in all aspects of care , and dedicated to provide excellent support to the Tenants. Growing old can be challenging , and I feel that Richard Newcombe Court helps me meet the challenge to the best possible standard .

I have lived at Richard Newcombe Court for 18 months. The flats are really lovely and well adapted for wheelchair users and able bodied people. They are well maintained and very comfortable . The kitchens are small but manageable and are quite well equipped. There is lunch downstairs which is an
excellent way to meet others.
This flat has allowed me to feel comfortable and has given me the independence to go out into the city either on my electric wheelchair or by bus.
The management and staff from Cambridge Housing are outstanding (there is another national care provider here called Radis).
I cannot recommend the development more but you have to understand that this is housing with care so residents are encouraged to be as independent as possible.
