View Full Details of Rosebery Manor Care Home - Avery CollectionRosebery Manor looks after a wide span of residents and every one of them is well cared for and treated as an individual. The majority of care staff are on first name terms with all the residents and the building is attractive, well decorated and kept spotlessly clean. Hot and cold drinks and nibbles are always available in the reception area for residents and visitors. When things do go wrong the staff are good at getting them fixed. There are a range of activities available throughout the week for those that are interested/able and the team make every effort to encourage attendance. Costs are very high, but they seem to be similar everywhere we looked. If you are looking for a care home or "assisted living" Rosebery Manor should be on your list to check out.
What a wonderful resident home! The care that the team gave our Mum was exemplary. All so kind and caring and nothing too much trouble for them. The atmosphere there is a happy one with lots of activities to suit all.
My sister and I have been very impressed with the care that our father is receiving at Rosebery. He was a reluctant 'inmate' (his word) and they have worked hard to help him settle in. He has been a resident for nearly 3 years and is thriving there. They have taken time to get to know him and let him live there the way that he wants.
Mum has just moved in and she has been made so welcome by the home and staff. Being in the carehome is a new experience for all if us but the staff have been so helpful to all of us trying to get used to it. Any extra help I have asked for for mum has been provided. All the staff - carers, nurses, admin catering are all committed to the well being of their residents and families.
My husband, who has Alzheimers, moved into Rosebery Manor on 22nd October. I have found it to be a very welcoming & extremely caring environment. He has a beautiful bedroom & en suite, the food is incredible, as is the entertainment. However the best thing about Rosebery Manor is the staff. They listen to my husbands needs, deal with any issues promptly & efficiently and action any request quickly, they are so caring. Particular mention to Antonia & Sylvia
My mum has been staying here for a while now, and I can honestly say the level of care is exceptional. The staff are absolutely incredible - consistently professional, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. They make my mum feel truly welcome and supported, which means so much to us as a family. The food is amazing and very varied, with great attention to quality and choice. There is also a wonderful cross-section of activities available, ensuring there is always something engaging and enjoyable for the residents. The home itself is spotlessly clean, and the gardens are beautifully maintained, creating a calm and uplifting environment. I'm genuinely grateful for the care and warmth my mum receives every day. Highly recommended.
Staff always smiling and v helpful - both care staff and reception Mum is much better than six months ago and seems happier in herself Much more positive attitude across the home than six months ago
I have now lived at Robery Manor for 8 months. Throughout that period I have felt welcome and enjoyed my time. I am enormously impressed with the friendlines and co-operation af all members of staff and have been very happy. The accommodation is excellent. My only criticism is that in the current period of hot weather the limited ventilation is insufficient - while I imagine that I can understand the reasoning but surely it is possible to improve ventilation and still give security. Overall I would class the standard of catering as very good. I tend to provide my own breakfast in my rooms. I regularly have lunch in the restaurant (first floor) and the menus is excellent and the quality of food is equally good. Overall eating there is pleasantly quiet. I am less happy with the suppers, these are only available in one's rooms or n the ground floor restaurant. While the quality of the food is good the restaurant becomes overcrowded and noisy and the menus less imaginative.
My Mother moved here a week ago. We couldn't be happier with the high standard of care. So many small details to make her stay enjoyable. The home is very clean and welcoming. Food choices are excellent. Residents can order something else if they don't fancy the menu. Menus are restaurant style. There are lots of appealing activities. Already she says things like don't visit in the morning I will be at Thai Chi. She commented to me that everything revolves around Residents wishes not staff convenience. Every member of staff has been exceptional, so friendly and willing to help. The garden complete with help yourself ice cream is lovely. The cafe where Residents and visitors alike can stay for drinks and snacks is a great concept. Her flat is light and airy. Having a sitting room ,bedroom , bathroom and kitchenette makes it feel so much like home. Supervision is unobtrusive, she chose to be checked on every 2 hours at night. Residents have a pendant to call staff.Overall 5*
I have been visiting a friend since she moved into Rosebery Manor Care Home nearly ten years ago. I have always found it to be a very caring and happy home with a lovely, warm atmosphere. Lately, I have been visiting more regularly and am always greeted with smiling, helpful, and attentive staff. My friend is also very happy with the high standard of care that she receives. Thank you very much to everyone involved at Rosebery Manor.
My Mother moved to RM 3 months ago and has settled in very well. The staff are always cheerful and helpful and make her feel as ease. My Mother had a serious health scare soon after arriving which resulted in a hospital admission which set her back in terms of her cognition and mobility. The staff have encouraged her to regain her previous levels of mobility and have been very attuned to any slight deterioration so that her health remains on a positive track. As a family, we are delighted with the care room at RM.
We're very happy with the level of care that is provided at all levels. All the staff are friendly and courteous, including cleaners, housekeeping, the 'activists' as Dad loves to call the activities team, the carers and nurses, reception, catering, management, and the team behind the scenes. If Dad has any issues, we can be certain he will be listened to and his views considered. The ambience and quality of the Care Home is akin to a smart, comfortable hotel. The gardens at the back of the home are nicely arranged with ample seating in good weather and a well-stocked, eye-catching pond. Our experience is that residents' family members and friends are welcome to visit. Coffee and tea are almost always available with fruit, biscuits, cakes or pastries and maybe wrapped sweets. There can sometimes be odd niggles. Providing this level of care to elderly loved ones is never straightforward. With Dad, we are confident that he is in the best place we could want for him. He is happy there too.
My aunt has just moved and she was met with a warm welcome. The staff have been kind to her and pop in to see her regularly making sure she has everything she needs. Her room is lovely with a great outlook over the garden. We were pleased that we could surround her with her own furniture and belongings. The home is spotlessly clean. It really is a home-from-home. Thank you.
Recently arranged for a close neighbour to take residency at Roseberry Manor. Very impressed by the empathy, professionalism, friendliness, and patience of the staff, nothing is too much trouble for them to ensure a comfortable and positive stay for their residents. Would recommend friends and family.
What a fabulous home! Mum went to stay there straight from hospital 2 weeks ago following a nasty fall at home, complicated leg fracture surgery, and 2 month hospital stay, unable to stand with 2 nurses fully hoisting from bed to chair, today I saw her stand! Apparently has done it several times now, obviously with help. Hospital had given up on her. That's dedication for you. The kindness and level of care she has been shown, along with the compassion for the family and friends visiting by all the staff is second to none. Beautifully clean, bright and airy. I doubt there is another home to match this. Plenty of activities if you wish (a tap dancer this afternoon!).
Rosebery Manor is a class apart from other care homes. We visited many homes for Dad and nothing came close to Rosebery. Every visitor, Dad has quite a few, has said that they would move in 'tomorrow', that even includes my children. Rosebery feels like a 5-star hotel, not a care home. The staff are all amazing. The activities every day are amazing too. Highly recommend a visit if you are looking or potentially going to be looking for care.
Having transferred to Rosebery Manor care home from hospital my Dad's mobility and mental capacity have improved quickly and greatly. This is thanks to the care and patience of the staff and beautiful facility. The home has been an absolute god send at a very traumatic time and I can't express my gratitude enough.
1. The staff were excellent, there quickly when needed. 2. His room was large enough for him to move around with either a rollator or a wheelchair. 3. The activities that he was able to attend suited him well, especially the films of the evening. 4. The other residents were very friendly. 5. The gardens were lovely, even in October. 6. The view of the gardens from his room was enjoyed by my husband. 7. Lovely to either get a coffee from the coffee bar or make one in my husband's room.
My mum went into the home for respite care after a fall. She was badly shaken by the fall and had become very dispirited and a little confused. It took a couple of weeks, but gradually we began to see her old self again. After 3 weeks at Rosebery, she was able to return home with a live-in carer. By the end of her respite stay, she was appreciating the love and kindness shown by the Rosebery staff.
Rosebery Manor is a beautiful care home, very well run by friendly and caring staff. My mother was there for respite for three weeks and felt very well looked after. There are always lots of activities, we had a good singing session one afternoon and even just sitting in the garden or looking at the fishpond gave my mum happy times. It's a relaxing place and the staff all work together so well to ensure all needs are catered for, whether medically or emotionally. I really appreciated the time they took to talk to my mum and really listen to how she was feeling. It is clear that the permanent residents are happy there, there is a friendly vibe and mealtimes are a place of much social interaction. Thank you for looking after her so well!
