View Full Details of Wiltshire Heights Care HomeMy parents have been at Wiltshire Heights since the beginning of the year. They have really benefited from the consistent care provided. The rooms, particularly the communal ones are light, airy and beautifully decorated, with a lovely outlook onto the gardens which have an Italian feel to them. The garden is easily accessible from the residents rooms; my parents have loved sitting out there this summer. They have just celebrated a big wedding anniversary and were absolutely delighted by the party Wiltshire Heights put on for them. It was very special to share this celebration with some of our family, recent neighbor's and one or two very old family friends with what feel like our new friends at Wiltshire Heights. Thank you.
My brother moved into Wiltshire Heights about 6 months ago, as he was no longer able to care for himself. We were impressed by the care and attention provided by all the staff to make him feel welcome and settled. Indeed, the same warm support provided by the whole team at Wiltshire Heights has been in evidence over the subsequent months. The organisation of day trips out and the occasional garden parties has been beneficial in ensuring that his life is not spent entirely within the four walls of his room. My husband, sister, and I are all delighted and relieved that we have made the right decision!
Recommend for respite. Regular use. Care staff are amazing. Homely. Treated like family. Caring to us both.
Very good care given to my dad. All the staff I have met are friendly and good at their jobs, and the home is very clean.
We moved both parents into Wiltshire Heights when we were struggling this summer with dad very unwell and mum unable to cope. The staff were extremely kind and sensitive to the situation. Dad died shortly after being admitted and the staff made this as good as it could be for the family, and they have cared for Mum very well since this happened. As a family, we are always made to feel very welcome and part of the Wiltshire Heights family when we visit.
Great care offered and received by my Godmother. The rooms are large and well equipped. The food is excellent and served to residents in a lovely dining room with napkins and white table cloths and proper cutlery and glasses on the tables. This means the experience is more like a hotel than a Care Home and that is a very positive thing. Delighted by all that is offered at Wiltshire Heights. Thanks you.
My Great Auntie stayed at Wiltshire Heights in May 2025 for respite. While at the facility, the staff delivered exceptional care, were extremely dignified towards my Auntie and ensured that she was settled in her new, unfamiliar surroundings. She had unlimited tea and snacks, fantastic cooked 3-course meals, freshly baked cakes and muffins. A lovely private room with ensuite and cleaning washing daily, When it came time for her to leave and go home she didn't want to go, now she visits weekly and is welcomed with open arms by all staff, I would like to mention one lady for her exceptional effort in getting everything sorted in such a quick manner as this respite stay was very last minute, would highly recommend Wiltshire Heights Bradford on Avon.
All the staff looking after my stepfather are amazing, always helpful, and nothing is too much. They always have a smile on their faces and make all the residents feel at home. The decor is lovely and well-maintained, giving a nice, cosy home feeling.
Wiltshire Heights is such a lovely care home with the friendliest staff. Their warmth and kindness not only to Mum, but to the rest of the family makes it such a pleasure when we visit. Nothing is too much trouble. There are great facilities, activities and outings available, and always plenty of tea and cake on offer! Mum is so lucky being looked after in such a lovely home.
Since my in-laws moved into Wiltshire heights, I have found that they are being looked after extremely well. Their minds are kept active by the numerous activities available to them. They also take advantage of the trips out in the minibus. The staff are caring for them very well, and are always helpful to not only my in-laws but to my wife and I as well. The food always looks delicious and the cakes and biscuits are always at hand. Very happy with the care my in-laws are receiving.
The management at Wiltshire Heights went to great lengths to make it possible for my mum to become a resident at a distressing time in her life. The staff welcomed her warmly and continued to help her to settled into a new home with dignity and respect. The whole team have made it easy for the family too.
Bringing mum into the home has been an emotional process for the family. All the care given to mum during this period has been exemplary. We would like to thank all the staff who made this process so easy.
My mum stayed at Wiltshire Heights, and I was so impressed with the level of care. The staff were fantastic and I would definitely recommend them to any family. Thanks you for giving us this experience
All the staff are kind, friendly, very professional. If it is an emotional moment they are great at being there with comfort. As a patient I feel in safe hands twenty four hours a day. Everywhere is always clean and the catering is very good. Any problems and the managers listen and make the problem go away, could not ask for more. Staff have an excellent sense of humour, so plenty of laughter, which I really enjoy. If anything breaks maintenance sorts it out ASAP. The laundry is always returned ironed like new. If is a good place to be needing help and care if you no longer manage alone.
My mum didn't want to move to a care home, but it is a great comfort to know she is being so well looked after. She speaks very highly of the carers and other staff, has made friends and settled into a lovely community. The supportive and positive environment has led to her regaining the confidence to resume one of her beloved hobbies, after giving up for a number of years.
My Dad was a resident for three weeks at the end of May following a knee replacement operation. The staff went out of their way to make sure Dad was comfortable. I was able to visit as often as I liked and was always welcomed by lots of friendly faces. I felt very reassured that Dad was somewhere safe where his needs were being met. I couldn't be more grateful!
Mum arrived at Wiltshire Heights Care Home on June 6th, 2025. She sadly died on 17th June, 2025 but could not have had a better place to spend her last days. Although her death was quicker than we all imagined - the care and welcome she received was first class. Everyone we and she came into contact with was so kind, sympathetic and charming. Her carer was especially wonderful. Thanks to all the staff - it was a shorter stay than we all expected but Mum was comfortable and happy there. She just decided to move on to join Dad! Thank you for looking after her so well.
I would like to express my thanks for the kindness given by all the team at Wiltshire Heights to my aunt and our family. From the outset they were responsive, sympathetic and understanding of her needs. Their communication with me, my sister and especially my aunt in hospital was so respectful and kind. The team were wonderful in the lead up to her move and we were really impressed with the welcome, care and attention they gave us and my aunt for her breif stay in the nursing accommodation. They were efficient, the atmosphere was warm and friendly and they had great activities available including the VE day celebration. I would highly recommend it especially for the care and compassion of the team. I say all this as a GP who has worked with many Care and Nursing Homes in Sussex, as well as as a relative of my aunt who received care recently, and my great aunt who lived at Wiltshire Heights a few years ago.
I was really impressed by the team on Poppy floor and the home in general felt bright and positive. I felt all the staff members were always happy to help and always smiled at us and made eye contact. I thought two members of staff in particular ran the floor very well and that the senior team were also readily available to answer any questions we had. The food was brilliant and the gardens and recreation spaces really nice. The kitchen dining area felt like a home away from home - but with much more cake! Mum found being away from home for a short period of respite care very challenging but the team did all they could to make her feel at ease. The activities coordinator took the time to chat with my Mum and made an effort to find her when the Alpacas visited and the therapy dog came in. There was also a social atmosphere in the dining room amongst several of the other guests which was nice. I would definitely recommend Wiltshire Heights to other families considering respite or long-term care.
I so grateful to the staff who looked after my mum during a respite on the poppy floor I was particularly touched by the kind way they spoke to mum, especially saying to 'don't say sorry! It's ok' when mum needed help with the loo. They treated mum with real dignity but were still encouraging. I thought the floor was really airy and fresh compared with other places I have been for respite. The food was also delicious - and I was pleased to be offered a meal with I visited at lunch time.
