The extensive garden area is peaceful and scenic, and serves as the perfect space for events in good weather. The care home is clean and feels safe for the residents. The meal service is excellent and residents are given a good array of food choices throughout the day. It's accessible for family members & loved ones to visit as they please.

We came down from Edinburgh to see David for his first fathers day in your care home.
Delighted with the festival yesterday and all the staff that I have discussed Davids care have been very attentive and listened to all my requests.
Glad to see him settling, but we miss him very much.

Delighted he's now on the ground floor so he can roam freely.

Staff all prompt and helpful and he loves all the food and drink with his only complaint being that he'd like to heat up his dinner. Staff all very lovely and remember all his stories which is lovely. He really loved the poetry club - only wishes it was on more often.

Wiltshire Heights provided respite care for my Mother. She was very reluctant to use any respite service but the team at Wiltshire Heights made her feel welcome and all her needs were met.

The staff were amazing, going above and beyond to provide an excellent service. They were informative to me over the phone on the days I was unable to visit. It was soon apparent the staff truly cared about the clients within the establishment.

The staff at Wiltshire Heights were all very welcoming when we moved my husband in. They were also very sympathetic on what was an emotional day for us. Since my husband's arrival in Wiltshire Heights, we have been asked many times what more they could do, what more could they provide to help him feel comfortable. We have been very impressed by the professionalism of the nursing staff, the care helpers, and by the friendly efficiency with which the home is run.

Grandma turned 100 on 18th March, and all the staff at Wiltshire Heights made a great fuss of her! They arranged a super lunch for her and our family on her actual birthday. They also helped us plan a bigger family party for her a few days before. The food was incredible, and the staff pulled out all the stops. Thank you so much for making her feel special!

Review from J B (Relative of Resident) published on 21 April 2026 Submitted via Postal Card
Overall Experience

Our relative, in Wiltshire Heights on respite care was thoroughly spoiled. She enjoyed the comfortable views from her large clean window - of squirrels and bird life, trees, shrubs and bushes. Her room was clean and had every convenience. She resented in her armchair and guests made welcome in a soft chair also. Though she found the bed a little uncomfortable she understood the need for a sanitised option and doesn't sleep well generally anyway. The bathroom was hygenic and easy to use, plenty of storage space. The staff at Wiltshire Heights must be praised for kindness for caring, for treating individuals with respect and dignity. Nothing was too much trouble. Our relative enjoyed the meals and joined in poetry activity.

Wiltshire Heights went "above and beyond" to help us celebrate my mother's 100th birthday. They accommodated a large number of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in a really helpful way. They assisted us with catering for the event, and the Head Chef exceeded expectations in the quality and range of catering provided.

Mum moved to Wiltshire Heights yesterday and I had not had the opportunity to view the home personally beforehand as it all happened so quickly
I was delighted with what I found from the welcome at reception to the tour of The Home and meeting members of staff and some of the residents who all appeared to be very happy indeed. The condition of the furnishing and premises overall I can only describe as excellent. I then went onto To meet with my mother who gave me a beaming smile, something I had not been expecting. Her room was clean tidy and looked as if it had been freshly decorated and the furnishings all appeared as if they were new.

With the available activities and on-site facilities, I have high hopes.

My husband has been here 6 weeks now. I am very impressed with the care he has received. There is a genuine effort to make his stay as safe and enjoyable as possible. Different beds have been tried for his comfort. He has had fewer, by far, falls than in a previous care home. The staff all know him and joke with him. All are extremely kind.

Mum moved to Wiltshire Heights Care Home just over a year ago. She has settled in well and now considers it her home. She has been able to make her room her own and enjoys being able to tend the garden outside her room. She is always telling us how kind the staff are and how she appreciates that there is always someone there. She enjoys the various activities available to her and particularly enjoys the trips out. Her friends and family are made very welcome when they visit. As her daughter, it gives me great peace of mind to know she is well cared for.

The thing that really stood out for me when my Mum moved into Wiltshire Heights was just how very lovely the staff are - all of them; the reception team, the manager, the Client Services Manager, Home Manager all the catering team and every member of the care team from the youngest and newest to the most experienced. It was so hard leaving Mum - we live the other side of the country and are about to be out of the country for a family wedding so it was a leap of faith that she would be so well cared for but she has only found kindness amongst the staff. The food is great too - and Mum is already saying that she is going to put on pounds (which she could certainly do with doing!)

The only thing it isn't - is her own home - which she still misses very much - but they are doing all they can to make it a happy and safe environment for her and feel as near as they possibly can to home for her (which we appreciate very much), and it is very early days (less than a week!)

Charlie OsgoodJob Title:Home ManagerJoined: 2023

Hello, my name is Charlie Osgood, and I am the Home Manager here at Wiltshire Heights.

I started my career in care in 1992, working nights as a carer in a nursing home. I loved the job, and it prompted me to undertake my nurse training in London and return to the same nursing home in 2000 in the position of home manager. I then managed this home for three years.

In the 20 years that followed, I have managed two other nursing homes, worked as a training and development manager and also been a regional manager for a small care provider consisting of five care homes.

I am passionate about care and the need to build positive relationships and work in partnership with our residents, their loved ones, our team, local professionals and advocates to achieve the best possible care and outcomes for individuals living in our home, and I am particularly excited about the opportunity to manage a home as impressive as Wiltshire Heights.

Jaspreet Price
Jaspreet PriceJob Title:Client Services ManagerJoined: 2020

Hello, my name is Jas, and I am the Client Services Manager here at Wiltshire Heights.

I have experience working in various customer service roles, from group reservations and event management to regional sales management. I loved working in events and organising weddings, corporate conferences and seasonal parties. I have also worked for the NHS in various hospitals as a clinical coordinator.

I came into the care sector hoping to use my experience to support our residents in living a well-rounded life. I am able to use my experience in events to plan special occasions for everybody in our home to enjoy, so not only do our residents receive excellent care, but they also have a great time socially as part of the Wiltshire Heights community.

I feel incredibly lucky to be part of this fantastic home.

Sally Bullock
Sally BullockJob Title:Head HousekeeperJoined: 2018

Hello, my name is Sally Bullock, and I am the Head Housekeeper here at Wiltshire Heights.

I originally joined Wiltshire Heights as a night carer and eventually became head housekeeper. I loved both roles, however, I feel housekeeping is where my talents really lie. Before this, I worked in a senior school, however after 25 years I decided I wanted to try something different.

As part of my role, I have the privilege of spending time with our residents on a daily basis, mingling and chatting with them and finding out whether there is anything I can do for them. I am lucky to have a great team who keeps our home sparkling clean and shares my sentiment that nothing is too much for our lovely residents.
