All the staff are kind, friendly, very professional. If it is an emotional moment they are great at being there with comfort. As a patient I feel in safe hands twenty four hours a day. Everywhere is always clean and the catering is very good. Any problems and the managers listen and make the problem
go away, could not ask for more. Staff have an excellent sense of humour, so plenty of laughter, which I really enjoy. If anything breaks maintenance sorts it out ASAP. The laundry is always returned ironed like new. If is a good place to be needing help and care if you no longer manage alone.

My mum didn't want to move to a care home, but it is a great comfort to know she is being so well looked after. She speaks very highly of the carers and other staff, has made friends and settled into a lovely community. The supportive and positive environment has led to her regaining the confidence
to resume one of her beloved hobbies, after giving up for a number of years.

My husband goes for Respite, they look after him very well especially as he has medical and physical issues. I am extremely happy with his care and would not leave him if that wasn't so. Staff are friendly and we are treated as part of the family. They encourage him to take part in the activities and
to join in with the many things they put on for the residents. I can't speak highly enough about the people or the care home. Which is why I picked Wiltshire Heights.

My Dad was a resident for three weeks at the end of May following a knee replacement operation.
The staff went out of their way to make sure Dad was comfortable. I was able to visit as often as I liked and was always welcomed by lots of friendly faces. I felt very reassured that Dad was somewhere safe
where his needs were being met. I couldn't be more grateful!

Mum arrived at Wiltshire Heights Care Home on June 6th, 2025. She sadly died on 17th June, 2025 but could not have had a better place to spend her last days. Although her death was quicker than we all imagined - the care and welcome she received was first class. Everyone we and she came into contact
with was so kind, sympathetic and charming. Her carer was especially wonderful. Thanks to all the staff - it was a shorter stay than we all expected but Mum was comfortable and happy there. She just decided to move on to join Dad!

I would like to express my thanks for the kindness given by all the team at Wiltshire Heights to my aunt and our family.
From the outset they were responsive, sympathetic and understanding of her needs. Their communication with me, my sister and especially my aunt in hospital was so respectful and
kind.
The team were wonderful in the lead up to her move and we were really impressed with the welcome, care and attention they gave us and my aunt for her breif stay in the nursing accommodation.
They were efficient, the atmosphere was warm and friendly and they had great activities available including the VE day celebration.
I would highly recommend it especially for the care and compassion of the team.
I say all this as a GP who has worked with many Care and Nursing Homes in Sussex, as well as as a relative of my aunt who received care recently, and my great aunt who lived at Wiltshire Heights a few years ago.

I was really impressed by the team on Poppy floor and the home in general felt bright and positive. I felt all the staff members were always happy to help and always smiled at us and made eye contact. I thought two members of staff in particular ran the floor very well and that the senior team were
also readily available to answer any questions we had. The food was brilliant and the gardens and recreation spaces really nice. The kitchen dining area felt like a home away from home - but with much more cake!


Mum found being away from home for a short period of respite care very challenging but the team did all they could to make her feel at ease. The activities coordinator took the time to chat with my Mum and made an effort to find her when the Alpacas visited and the therapy dog came in. There was also a social atmosphere in the dining room amongst several of the other guests which was nice.


I would definitely recommend Wiltshire Heights to other families considering respite or long-term care.

I so grateful to the staff who looked after my mum during a respite on the poppy floor I was particularly touched by the kind way they spoke to mum, especially saying to 'don't say sorry! It's ok' when mum needed help with the loo. They treated mum with real dignity but were still encouraging. I thought
the floor was really airy and fresh compared with other places I have been for respite. The food was also delicious - and I was pleased to be offered a meal with I visited at lunch time.

I can't praise Wiltshire Heights highly enough. The staff are very friendly, caring & professional. The whole building is clean, light & airy & very well run. My mother was reluctant to come but is very happy here & keeps saying how kind the staff are. Ten out of ten!

My mum moved to Wiltshire Heights last November and has improved in both her physical and mental health since being there. The reassuring presence of kind staff has meant she feels safe and cared for. She has her own furniture, ornaments and pictures in her room, making it feel like home. She is a gardener
and can help maintain the gardens, giving her purpose and an interest. She makes good use of the communal rooms and the various activities and outings that are provided. Wiltshire Heights is helping her come to terms with the loss of independence that older age brings.

My mother was a resident at Wiltshire Heights for nearly 2 years and recently passed away.
Wiltshire Heights was a perfect place for my mum. She received excellent attention from a loving and caring team of nurses and other staff. Her room was light and bright and had a beautiful outlook into the
courtyard where mum could see birds and squirrels.
You made my mum's last few years as comfortable as possible, and we will be forever grateful for that.
I would not hesitate to recommend Wiltshire Heights to anyone looking for a long term care home for their loved one.

I cannot fault the care given to my mother during the last couple of months of her life. The staff from very department were thoughtful and very often members of the care team would sit and read to her and have a chat. Overall, excellent.
However, with regard to value for money, I feel that services
such as hairdressing and chiropody should be included and a weekly physio visit.

The staff and facilities at Wiltshire Heights are both excellent. The staff are so kind and caring, yet diligent too. Everyone is easy to approach and all go above and beyond. They are worth their weight in gold.
The facilities are like a hotel! Very comfortable, well equipped rooms and lovely, comfortable
lounges around the building for time away from your bedroom, a private dining room so you can enjoy a meal with family, a hair salon etc. They also arrange and lay-on a vast array of activities including walks out for those that are able.
The food was also excellent, a great choice at meal times and tea, cake, refreshments available all the time!

The house manager was very responsive from the time I enquired about the care home. My father is well looked after at the home and his care needs are being met. Wiltshire Heights took our parents in at short notice for respite care following hospital stays. Wiltshire Heights was extremely accommodating, flexible and caring from the start. Every one of the staff works together very well as a most caring and cheerful team. The communal rooms are beautifully designed
and decorated and while spacious enough seem homely too. A lovely range of trips and activities.

My mother has been looked after with considerable kindness and consideration. The staff are aware of her foibles and her somewhat cantankerous manner but are always understanding and keen to find solutions. I believe that Wiltshire Heights is well run and managed with a firm but light touch. I recommend

My sister and I viewed several care homes in the local area when looking for a care home for our father and Wiltshire Heights was far the best by a long way of the ones we visited. Everyone from the time you step into the home makes you feel welcome. The home is beautifully decorated, clean and warm,
the food is excellent too with lots of activities going on to suit all the interests of the residents. Dad is extremely well cared for and the nursing staff are very kind, respectful and caring towards him. The team on Poppy Ward are always happy and cheerful and nothing is too much for them when you ask them for something on a visit. I am very pleased with the care my dad is receiving from Wiltshire Heights.

My father was admitted to Wiltshire Heights 4 months ago and our experience has been excellent from the start. The home is beautifully decorated, spacious and light. Food is excellent, with a good choice for every meal. Staff are very supportive of the service user and family during the initial admission
period which we found to be very emotional due to the huge change of circumstances that we were experiencing. The support is ongoing. The staff are kind, caring and friendly, treat my father with dignity and respect - he is very comfortable with all his team. The nurses are proactive in their care, and communication is excellent on all aspects of my father's care. Social needs are met by the activity ladies and the minibus team. Both teams are wonderful as they enable activities appropriate to my father's interests, having taken the time to get to know him and his interests. I can only praise and thank Wiltshire Heights for all that the staff do for us.

I cannot stress how much care was taken of my mother in the lead-up to admission to Wiltshire Heights Care Home and during her stay. Every member of staff tried their utmost to make my Mother comfortable and attend to her needs. The nursing staff in particular made sure the best care was available,
organising a special mattress when needed, and being diligent in their care. My regret is that my mother should have come into the care home earlier so that she could have enjoyed the full facilities. She did enjoy the in-house hairdressing salon which made a big difference to her. The rooms are very nice and have a pleasant outlook onto well-maintained patios and gardens and the food choice is along the lines of an expensive hotel. Security is top-notch, there was always parking for visitors available on the adjacent road close by. I would recommend Wiltshire Heights with complete confidence of care.

Hello, my name is Charlie Osgood, and I am the Home Manager here at Wiltshire Heights.


I started my career in care in 1992, working nights as a carer in a nursing home. I loved the job, and it prompted me to undertake my nurse training in London and return to the same nursing home in 2000 in the position of home manager. I then managed this home for three years.


In the 20 years that followed, I have managed two other nursing homes, worked as a training and development manager and also been a regional manager for a small care provider consisting of five care homes.


I am passionate about care and the need to build positive relationships and work in partnership with our residents, their loved ones, our team, local professionals and advocates to achieve the best possible care and outcomes for individuals living in our home, and I am particularly excited about the opportunity to manage a home as impressive as Wiltshire Heights.

Hello, my name is Jas, and I am the Client Services Manager here at Wiltshire Heights.


I have experience working in various customer service roles, from group reservations and event management to regional sales management. I loved working in events and organising weddings, corporate conferences and seasonal parties. I have also worked for the NHS in various hospitals as a clinical coordinator.


I came into the care sector hoping to use my experience to support our residents in living a well-rounded life. I am able to use my experience in events to plan special occasions for everybody in our home to enjoy, so not only do our residents receive excellent care, but they also have a great time socially as part of the Wiltshire Heights community.


I feel incredibly lucky to be part of this fantastic home.

Hello, my name is Sally Bullock, and I am the Head Housekeeper here at Wiltshire Heights.


I originally joined Wiltshire Heights as a night carer and eventually became head housekeeper. I loved both roles, however, I feel housekeeping is where my talents really lie. Before this, I worked in a senior school, however after 25 years I decided I wanted to try something different.


As part of my role, I have the privilege of spending time with our residents on a daily basis, mingling and chatting with them and finding out whether there is anything I can do for them. I am lucky to have a great team who keeps our home sparkling clean and shares my sentiment that nothing is too much for our lovely residents.
