Since my husband's move to Wiltshire Heights, I feel such a relief that he is now receiving excellent care in a comfortable and pleasant environment. I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff at all levels, but it must be hats off to the very kind and courteous care personnel for their respectful and compassionate interactions with my husband. I must also praise the kitchen staff for making meal times a delight, and for catering for the particular dietary requirements of my husband. Devastating as it is, I am content that he is in the best care environment.

My mother who has Parkinson's and dementia has received a very top quality of care at this home on her final days with us. We cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness and love for our mother and the level of care has been very professional and so kind. I highly recommend this care home and can't thank everybody enough. The manager is fantastic, kind and very welcoming. A great job and top quality level of service. All residents met so far in this home are very happy and always smiling. All cleaning staff are an asset to the company, this place is 5 star. Thank you all so much for caring for my mum and looking after my dad!

Can't thank the staff and everyone involved in the running and high levels of care for my wife. She has Parkinson's and dementia. This home prides itself in number one care for all residents. The manager is fantastic and would like to thank him and all staff for their love, respect and kindness. This home is well prepared and organised to accommodate and care for most needs on a very high level. The care for my wife on her final days has been fantastic and top quality, filled with love and compassion at such a difficult time. Thank you to all involved.

Mum was reluctant to move to a care home, but advancing dementia required it. Once she visited Wiltshire Heights she was won over by the impressive facilities and friendly staff and settled in well: living there from February 2019 to March 2024. Mum was safe, fed well and looked after there - and happier than I've ever seen her in my whole life! She soon made friends among the other residents, usually sharing a table together at mealtimes. She enjoyed walking the corridor for exercise, participating in group activities, and meeting other residents and staff (whom she often hugged - a reflection of the kindness they showed to her). I know Mum was well cared for there, and treated with love and respect. Wiltshire Heights is exceptionally well run, with a clear team spirit, and an ethos that all people matter. The result is happy staff, friendly, open and professional in their attitude and always ready to help. It's just what Mum needed and what I needed for her. Thank you so much!

I have been meaning to write to thank you all for the care you are giving my mum on Willow Ward at Wiltshire Heights, Bradford-On-Avon.
It was lovely to see the care and love Mum received from your staff.
Three members of staff in particular were just lovely with special mention to another three members of staff who went that extra mile for Mum.
The cleaners would also pop in for a chat to see how Mum was doing, which shows the beautiful interaction all staff have with the residents.
The particular member of staff from the activities team has always been amazing.
The nurses were amazing with three members of staff having tough shifts at the weekend, trying to get through to the NHS.
Another staff member is an absolute asset to your team, sorting out a lot of issues during the week, always with a smile.
Another staff member was always ready to chat and explain things.
Another would often stop and make sure everything was going well and it was lovely to chat on a more personal level.

I do apologise if I have forgotten anyone.

Our uncle moved to Wiltshire Heights last month. We are very impressed with the care and compassion that all the staff show. They have good quality food and wine is available with meals. Nice mixture of residents who appear happy to be there because they can no longer manage at home. The staff are very welcoming and they have a nice garden/surroundings

My father came to Wiltshire Heights after a long stay in hospital after a fall. He was cared for by the team on Poppy floor initially and then he moved to the ground floor for some respite care. All the staff were fantastic - they worked hard to help him build back his physical strength and mobility, and his overall confidence - and they were all so kind and attentive. My father returned to independent living at home after a 5 week stay at Wiltshire Heights and is continuing to improve. A big thank you to all the staff at Wiltshire Heights who go to know him, and who helped him return to his home.

Dad adjusted quickly to being looked after. Over the year he has formed very positive relationships with staff and enjoyed the stimulation offered by the activities team. While mentally very bright and inquiring with many interests he had physical needs. He feels safe and well looked after and his general state of health is improved through excellent nutrition and regular exercise as well as the kindness of the care staff. He has recently been able to move from extra care to residential as a result of these changes. We as a family have been very pleased by how his needs are met. He has a more positive state of mind and we have returned to enjoying him as his children rather than carers which has benefitted us all. There will always be adjustments to be made and occasional questions to ask when such a change is made but we thank the Wiltshire Heights staff for always being approachable and receptive. A very positive experience for us all, thank you.

Reply from Rosanne Wheatley, Home Manager at Wiltshire Heights Care Home

Thank you for your kind feedback and we are so glad that dad's time with the home has been a successful journey for his mental and physical wellbeing. The team always love to get feedback and work on this so we appreciate your communication with the home to ensure we are providing the best care for dad.

My husband first came to Wiltshire Heights Care Home for respite care but after 1 week the family realised that it would be the right place for him to live permanently. I always look forward to my weekly visit to Wiltshire Heights for a Scrabble session. The games themselves are competitive but fun and the opportunity to chat together with a cup of tea and slice of cake are so enjoyable.
The gardens at this time of year are particularly colourful and I regularly see residents either enjoying a gentle stroll or just relaxing in this lovely outdoor space.

May and the Kings Coronation. This meant party time, expertly planned by the activities team, red, blue and white decorations were in abundance, photos taken, crowns for all, a delicious afternoon tea, live music to singalong to and so many smiling faces, what a happy afternoon!

The home has the most caring and attentive staff who clearly enjoy what they do and look after Mum superbly. They do their best to keep Mum engaged with everything that happens in the home. They attend to her everyday needs both wellbeing and health. Mum always looks clean and tidy and well looked after.
The home itself has a wonderful homely atmosphere with its furnishings always immaculate. The activities team do an excellent job keeping the residents entertained and the restaurant and meals facilities are first class.

The reception is always welcoming and helpful to visitors, making it a joy to pass through. Thank you for looking after Mum so well.

Lovely clean bright home. Carers really seem to care about the residents. Mum has a lovely room overlooking the gardens and can sit quietly in there or go out and join in with any of the activities on offer. The food always looks very appetising with homemade puddings and cakes which visitors are also offered. Whenever you go in you are made to feel welcome. I feel mum is settling in well and is alot happier in herself. Would recommend to anyone.

Mum has only been at Wiltshire Heights Care Home for 12 days but has settled very well. Her room, with a lovely en suite, is spacious and comfortable with views onto a small patio where she can see the pots we have planted with spring bulbs and also watch the birds and squirrels on the bird feeders and in the garden.
The facilities are excellent and the decor is tasteful and calming. The activity calendar is varied with plenty of choices.

All the staff, without exception, are courteous, caring, helpful and friendly.

My mother stayed for two weeks of respite care.
All the staff were wonderfully caring, made her feel very welcome and looked after her very well.
The home is delightful and beautifully decorated, giving more of a hotel feel!
Mum would have liked more daily activities, but the lack of them may have been due to Covid restrictions.
I would thoroughly recommend it.

We could not have asked more of Wiltshire Heights. They accepted Dad for respite within a very short space of time just before Christmas, and then as his care moved to permanent- and quickly to end-of-life care- the commitment from all staff to him was without fault. It was hard for him to give up his independence so quickly, but everyone supported him to accept the help he needed without losing his pride. He was treated with dignity and a genuine affection by all staff, with them quickly understanding his needs. Support from health professionals was quickly sought if needed, and in his last few days especially we could not have asked for a more supportive, but peaceful time. The kindness we received as family members, despite all being so new to the home, helped us to manage this sad time. It was a shame that Dad was on an adapted diet, as he loved his food and would have enjoyed what was on offer! I would recommend Wiltshire Heights without hesitation.

Hello, my name is Charlie Osgood, and I am the Home Manager here at Wiltshire Heights.

I started my career in care in 1992, working nights as a carer in a nursing home. I loved the job, and it prompted me to undertake my nurse training in London and return to the same nursing home in 2000 in the position of home manager. I then managed this home for three years.

In the 20 years that followed, I have managed two other nursing homes, worked as a training and development manager and also been a regional manager for a small care provider consisting of five care homes.

I am passionate about care and the need to build positive relationships and work in partnership with our residents, their loved ones, our team, local professionals and advocates to achieve the best possible care and outcomes for individuals living in our home, and I am particularly excited about the opportunity to manage a home as impressive as Wiltshire Heights.

Jaspreet Price

Hello, my name is Jas, and I am the Client Services Manager here at Wiltshire Heights.

I have experience working in various customer service roles, from group reservations and event management to regional sales management. I loved working in events and organising weddings, corporate conferences and seasonal parties. I have also worked for the NHS in various hospitals as a clinical coordinator.

I came into the care sector hoping to use my experience to support our residents in living a well-rounded life. I am able to use my experience in events to plan special occasions for everybody in our home to enjoy, so not only do our residents receive excellent care, but they also have a great time socially as part of the Wiltshire Heights community.

I feel incredibly lucky to be part of this fantastic home.

Sally Bullock

Hello, my name is Sally Bullock, and I am the Head Housekeeper here at Wiltshire Heights.

I originally joined Wiltshire Heights as a night carer and eventually became head housekeeper. I loved both roles, however, I feel housekeeping is where my talents really lie. Before this, I worked in a senior school, however after 25 years I decided I wanted to try something different.

As part of my role, I have the privilege of spending time with our residents on a daily basis, mingling and chatting with them and finding out whether there is anything I can do for them. I am lucky to have a great team who keeps our home sparkling clean and shares my sentiment that nothing is too much for our lovely residents.
